The Space:

Brand new addition to vacation rentals in the Sandpoint area, be one of the first lucky ones to book this rustic retreat on Lake Pend Oreille in Sagle, Idaho, where charm and comfort blend seamlessly with the serene lakeside setting. This expansive property features a main house with 3 bedrooms and three full bathrooms, complemented by a separate guest house with two bedrooms and one full bathroom, totaling 3,934 square feet of cozy living space.  A 3-person hot tub is available year-round, located on the lower deck of the main house.



The main house is spread out over 3 levels, and houses 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.  Bedroom 1 is located on the top floor of the Main House, and has a King bed and en suite bathroom with deep bathtub.  Just outside Bedroom 1, you'll find a lofted sleeping area with (2) Twin beds and arguably the best views from inside the home.  Bedroom 2 is located on the main floor of the Main House, and has a Queen bed.  Bedroom 3 is secluded on the bottom level, and shares a full bathroom with the downstairs living area that has a large couch, (1) Twin bed, and a crib. The main house is equipped with central air conditioning to keep you nice and cool during warm summer days.  Step out onto the massive deck, with ample seating and shade between the multiple sets of patio tables and chairs.  On the outside lower level of the main house, you'll find the very private 3-person hot tub with exclusive views of Lake Pend Oreille and the surrounding mountains.



The guest house, situated at the top of the property, allows for additional sleeping and some privacy and separation at the end of the day.  A unique motorized tram system connects the main house to the guest house, ensuring easy transportation between the two.  There are two bedrooms and one full bathroom in the guest house, along with a full kitchen, and dining and living areas.  The first bedroom has a Queen bed and incredible views of the lake.  The second bedroom has a Queen bed and a split-King bed, which functions as either a normal King bed or can be split into (2) Twin beds.  The guest house sleeps up to 6 people in beds, and utilizes a portable air conditioner for added comfort during the summer, and a gas fireplace for chillier nights and mornings.  You'll find everything you need in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with it's own dedicated fridge and freezer, stove/oven, coffee maker, sink, cookware and dinnerware.  The full bathroom has a stand-up shower.



Outdoor enthusiasts will love the property’s two boat docks and explorable beach areas, easily accessible thanks to the home's beautiful deck system plus there is a mooring buoy available for guest use. The main beach area is a clean lakeside patio with seating for everyone.  Ease down into the water by walking down the stairs that lead right into the pristine waters of Lake Pend Oreille, while those more daring can plunge off the diving board!  The main dock includes a 6,000lb boat lift and a jet ski lift, keeping your toys safe and clean when you're not using them. The second dock features the diving board, as well as mooring whips for an additional boat.

*Note:  This property has a lot of stairs.  Guests should be aware of this and take into consideration when booking.



**Note:  Each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet.  Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks.  The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.
