The Space:

Inspired as a Scandinavian summer house, this large home has incredible views, comfortable and inviting furnishings and offers a large, flat grassy yard with 100' of sandy beach waterfront.  Curated art on the walls and table top books to savor. An incredible kitchen, with all new appliances, is fully appointed and includes double ovens, a Kitchen-aid mixer, cook and bar ware and a second refrigerator / freezer (just inside the double car garage which is *heated*, has ski/board storage, and a ping pong table!



A large living room with huge windows embraces the yard and lake views.  Indoor dining area with kitchen bar seating or enjoy the two separate al fresco dining areas on the deck or at the water's edge.  A main floor master suite with King bed and large bathroom includes a shower and soaking tub.  Few homes have a sun / exercise room for Yoga (mats and yoga accessories included) and never miss a Peloton® workout with this new bike, complete with SPD pedals and cages!



Downstairs has been designed for sleeping and entertainment.  The family / movie room has a huge TV with Sonos speaker and the lounge area turns into three twin beds with sleeping bags, as well as two Queen-size aero-beds with dedicated linens for additional sleeping.  The bedrooms include a large King bedroom, en suite and another bedroom with 2 Queen beds.



Outside there is SO much to do here!  Bring a boat or rent ours and keep it on the boat lift.  Jet ski lift included.  The yard is ginormous and lends itself to your favorite yard game.  At the water's edge, you'll love this sandy beach or venture out on one of the 2 stand up paddle boards (SUPs) or kayak.  Another unique feature of this home is the original circular, concrete entertaining pad right next to the beach.  Relax under the massive market umbrella.  Lounge, entertain and keep an eye on the kids -- it really is just perfect.



The neighborhood boat launch is just a few lots away and makes this an ideal location to launch your boat.  Additional thoughtful touches and amenities include:  high speed WiFi (that extends TO the dock), Ping Pong table, Hot Tub, Yard games, luxury linens, beach towels and more.



Location wise, you'll bask in the summer sun and you're just 7 miles to downtown Sandpoint, a *very* short drive to the Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course: The Idaho Club and a short gorgeous drive to Hope.  Schweitzer Mountain is 30 minutes away for winter fun and all will enjoy the hot tub later.

**NOTE:  Each year, on September 18th OR the 3rd Sunday in September (whichever is later), the Army Corps of Engineers begins dropping the water level of Lake Pend Oreille until ultimately reducing it by a total of 10-12 feet.  Around the 4th week in September ALL boat docks and boat lifts on the lake become inaccessible and unusable, as the water completely recedes back from the shoreline leaving just bare ground beneath the docks.  The agreement with the Army Corps of Engineers states the lake level must be restored to full pool level each year no later than July 4th, however, the last 10+ years the lake water has been at full pool level around the 2nd or 3rd week in June.

Guest Access:

Guests will have full access to this home and grounds. An open community lot is located several nearby for boat launching.



The Neighborhood:

Kaniksu Shores is a family oriented community that is 7 miles east of downtown Sandpoint. Quiet, serene and a great location to golf, skiing, hiking and all the outdoor activities in our area. The lots are huge here offering guests extremely large yards and areas to play.



Getting Around:

A car is recommended. This home is 1 hour and 40 minutes away from the Spokane International Airport.
