House, Guest House, Loft, 4 Bathrooms, 3 Decks, Large Lakeside Firepit with 6 Adirondack Chairs, Lakeside Hot Tub (Maximum 10 people).
This large lakefront home with large private dock has over 200 ft. of private lakefront and is located in tranquil Garfield Bay on the beautiful Lake Pend Oreille. The main house features over 2400 sq. ft. of living space, has large, vaulted ceilings, open concept dining, kitchen and sitting area with deck overlooking the lake and bay. Expansive windows highlight panoramic lake and mountain views, and the Master Suite includes a private deck and bathroom with jetted tub overlooking the bay. Both the main and guest house are just feet away from the water's edge and beach (you can hear the water at night).
Enjoy our water's edge deck that is only 10 feet from the water - equipped with a Weber gas grill, Blackstone griddle, and large outdoor dining table.
The guest house is just 20 ft. from the main house and is positioned overlooking the lake toward the dramatic Monarchs. The guest house features an open concept with one bedroom and a large sleeping loft for kids. It has a fully stocked kitchenette, bathroom with tub and shower, and a gas fireplace. Sip your coffee in the morning while looking at the lake and mountains from the guest house private balcony.
The property is private with no next-door neighbors and has a large green lawn that leads right up to the water's edge. There is plenty of room for parking and yard games. The large private dock is newer and has plenty of room for sunbathing and swimming in the crystal-clear water. There is a rock beach area (200 ft. of lakefront) for playing and wading. Within 3-minute walking distance from the house is a boat launch and public beach. The house also has an outdoor hot tube that is situated right next to the lake shore.
Unfortunately, the boatlift is NOT available for use during rentals due to liability concerns. The dock does, however, have an additional boat slip as well as room for parking a boat on the outer edges of the dock. The water around the dock is crystal clear; shallow along the bank but about 18 ft. deep on outer edges of the dock. The lake bottom is rock with absolutely NO plant growth in the water.
Also, within walking distance, across the bay, is Odies, a small general store that sells food, beverages, ice cream and supplies as well as the Captain's Table, a bar and grill.
