Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. Playground for the kids, hot tub for the adults. Close to a number of different stores. Only minutes from downtown and the airport. Lots of parking available. Cookout with the family full kitchen, grill, or use of Treager smoker available. TV in all rooms, relax and take in the view from the back deck with fire table, or sit out at the picnic shelter. This cozy getaway awaits in Des Moines at this charming house. With 3 queen beds and 1 futon, this peaceful retreat comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. Enjoy the brilliant natural light that fills the bedrooms, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. Take a relaxing soak in the bathtub or stay active in the fitness room. WiFi, heating, and AC ensure a comfortable stay. Whether you're exploring the city or simply unwinding in the comfort of this lovely home, we're happy to assist with any questions while you stay at our house.

If you're planning to celebrate a special occasion during your stay, such as a birthday, anniversary, holiday like Valentine's Day, or any other event, I'd be happy to help make it extra special! This space was very nice and had lot of amenities. The space had a vintage vibe to it. There was also a cute cat that lives under the porch that was super friendly. Could have been a little cleaner as there were spider webs in many of the doorframes.

This was such a great place for my friends and me to stay. We needed a nice comfortable place where we could spend an evening catching up and enjoying each other's company and this house was perfect for that. Everything was nice and clean and the hosts have gone above and beyond with the amenities they provided. We would definitely stay here again!

Great space!!

Stayed here with a handful of my buddies for the weekend of a wedding and the space was perfect! Being so close to the airport definitely saved us a ton of trouble. Plenty of room to hang out with more friends who were in town and the host was very accommodating of that!!

This was a perfect property for us, as we visited our DesMoines relative from out of town. The host/owner was exceptionally responsive to all questions and needs. The hot tub was amazing!

Lovely place for a family party

Had a lovely stay and had a small party with family and friends. Check-in was seemless, host quickly fixed a small issue with the WiFi. Mattresses were WONDERFUL. Furniture is eclectic but very comfy. Young adults loved the hot tub.

It was a little dirty, but not the worst we ever stayed at. Puzzle pieces were missing and not in the correct boxes. Other than that was a very nice place. The host checked in frequently to make sure everything was okay.

We didn’t use any of the outdoor features due to cold weather, but they looked inviting. Kitchen was furnished well. Popcorn popper was a fun amenity. Two queen beds and king bed were comfortable as were the cushy recliners in the living room. Futons, not so much. Nice big kitchen table. We were in town for a funeral and the location was perfect as it is close to the airport and hotels where other relatives were staying. It was a nice place for family members to come and visit. I would suggest to the owner to trim the branch that hangs low above the driveway and label the light switches.

So nice to soak!

Three of my girlfriends and I stayed here for a girls trip. The hot tub is what made us choose this property and it did not disappoint! We had a wonderful time soaking and chatting. Steve was a very helpful host with excellent communication and hospitality. The property was clean and comfortable. The check in and check out process was easy and the location was excellent. We look forward to staying here again

Family Fun

Cannot be more happy with our experience, Beautiful home and property located minutes from the airport. Very clean and spacious! Located close to restaurants and grocery stores. The owner was incredibe with communication and very accommodating! Would definitely recommend and if possible when we return later this year we will book this location again! Cant give higher than 5 stars or we would!

Great short stay

A few of my nursing school friends and I got together for an anniversary weekend. We did not spend a ton of time at the house, and we only stayed for one night, but it was very comfortable and easy to find. We used the hot tub, which was very relaxing, and we all slept great. Any communication we had with the property owner was replied to quickly, and he made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Weekend Stay

I wish i knew about the person coming and going thats living in the garage, that was a little scary for me. Hot tub was great, master bedroom upstairs has lots of room. Living room was very large. Things need some repairs, but it was clean and quite. People mentioned the airport, never had a single issuewith it.issue with it.

My brother works on the garage in the evening during his spare time after work. We are turning it into a possible secondary BNB. The garage/shop is not any part of the property at which you are staying and is 200 feet from the house which is further distace than both neighbors put together. I am not surprised you gave a low rating seeing how you damaged the drywall in the master bedroom 🤔. The least you could have done was let me know. I am an easy person to work with and would have worked with you to resolve the issue. If could not have been to scary if you were asking me to stay past the check-out time.

Great location

We came for the Hillbilly Hike run and it was perfect. The location was great, close to things to do but not too close, perfect neighborhood. The owner was awesome, I had to contact him because some of the girls thought beeping was coming from the room. He found it in one of the girls purses, nothing to do with the house. I am happy that we found this little oasis in Des Moines!
