Ainslie Point Deluxe Waterfront Cottage avec plage et accès au quai

Ce chalet de luxe se trouve sur Ainslie Point à la tête de Bedwell Harbor avec vue sur l'eau sur trois côtés. Vous aurez accès à notre quai privé et à notre plage et pourrez attraper votre propre crabe frais pour un dîner spécial. La grande surface de pont offre un espace de vie extérieur prolongé à la fois sous couvert et dans un environnement ouvert. Profitez des colibris qui se nourrissent, des loutres qui jouent sur le quai, des cerfs qui parcourent le jardin ainsi que du trafic maritime qui passe.

Vous pouvez profiter d'un moment romantique / calme spécial et / ou participer aux activités de cette zone écologique unique préservée par le Islands Trust. Cet emplacement est au centre des galeries, de la randonnée, du disc-golf, d'un parcours de golf de neuf ou 18 trous, des restaurants, du «Poet's Cove» de classe mondiale et bien plus encore.

La basse saison est aussi belle que les mois d'été - réchauffée par une cheminée et parfois embellie par une couche de neige délicate.

Fabulous beach view and cottage really well appointed with everything one needed for a comfortable stay.The extremely steep driveway was a challenge both coming and going!

Wonderful Relaxing Stay

We had a fantastic week at this beautiful cottage. The ocean views are spectacular. The location is lovely and peaceful. Mack and Alma were wonderful hosts. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Stay on Pender!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage in August - from seeing otters, deer, seals and osprey, to swimming in the ocean every day, all aspects were delightful! Alma and Mack (and Callum) were fantastic hosts, we hope to visit again next year!

A peaceful oasis

The cottage is a great place to relax with private beach access from which to launch our kayaks. It was comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We appreciated the wildlife and the regular boat traffic. The views of the water and the peace and quiet were what we enjoyed the most.

What a wonderful stay!

My family and I have been visiting Pender Island almost every summer for years, and this is the first time we stayed at Ainslie Point Cottage. We were very impressed by how clean, comfortable and well stocked it was. The kids loved playing on the private beach. Alma was a lovely and communicative host. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we would love to come back again!

superb cottage on water with excellent dock and shore, with warm kind hosts and amazing hikes in the area. Far surpassed our exceptions. Hosts so kind, checking in on us. Amazing place, one of my favourite places in BC.

Sooo amazing

The cottage is exactly as described. It’s very clean, water access is phenomenal and you can fish and crab from the dock. The hosts are incredibly kind and very responsive. This is an excellent property.

Ainslee Point cottage is absolutely wonderful

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying in the Ainslee Point cottage. Alma and Mack were very kind and considerate. The cottage is beautifully set up with everything you could possibly need. The location is just stunning. We loved being within walking distance to so many great hiking trails, ie mount Norman. We enjoyed canoe rides in their beautiful bay. We will definitely be going back!

A Magical Place

What a wonderful magical place. We spent an idyllic few days at Ainslie Point Cottage with everything we could possibly need. The cottage was spotless and really well equipped including tea, coffee, and other store cupboard items as well as washer, dryer and we even had the use of a rowing boat or canoe too. Best of all was the magnificent view soaked up from the comfy sofa on the veranda or from the chairs on the large deck. Thank you Alma and Mack for sharing this corner of paradise.

My husband's all-time favourite holiday!

We just spent a fabulous week at Alma and Mack's cottage on Ainslie Point. It is truly a paradise there. We had every kind of weather, from power-outing storms and torrential rains to warm sun and clear skies, and the cottage (with its spacious surrounding decks) was the ideal place to be. My husband loved snorkelling from the dock and all around the shore, and there were wonderful hikes and viewpoints nearby. Alma and Mack are charming hosts, and have provided everything one could possibly need. What a perfect way to bring in fall!

Extraordinarily peaceful setting

This was our third stay at this property for my husband and me. Once again, we found it the ideal setting for a peaceful, private, and relaxing getaway. The cottage is the perfect size for two people and it is bright and sunny inside. We spent almost all our time just hanging out on the large deck looking at the ocean, listening to the birds, and watching the boats slow down to go under the bridge. There are a couple of good hikes within a short walk from the property. Mack and Alma are friendly and helpful hosts, and always available when we had questions. We feel very lucky to have found this place and have already booked to return again next year!

Consistently great!

My husband and I came to the cottage for our second time for our weeklong holiday. It was every bit as good as the first time! Mac and Alma are amazing hosts who made us feel welcome and relaxed. The property is gorgeous and quiet, but with the visual interest of watching all the boats go by heading for the bridge. It’s hard to imagine a nicer deck. At any time of day you can choose between full sun, dappled sunlight from the Arbutus tree, or full shade. We can’t wait to return again next year!

AWESOME

This was absolutely awesome!. When you come up the driveway and see the view , it is amazing. There is a beautiful ocean view from every window. The house is extremely clean. It has everything you could possibly need. We love to hike and there is plenty of beautiful places to go. So peaceful. Watch the sun go down on lovely deck overlooking the ocean in the evening. Highly recommend . Thankyou so much Elma for sharing your piece of paradise !

Heavenly Silence

We were happily surprised when we arrived to see the property we saw on line was so much than we anticipated...breathtaken. Alma, Mack and Callem were super hosts. Cozy, well-kept, great views and decks. Private beach. Well-equiped. Comfortable living room furniture. Great feeling of Pender Island. It is down a steep hill (although paved and well-lit) and may not work well for elderly folks. On the whole, a wonderful find for a stay on Pender.

Pender Island Fall Getaway

Cute cottage, private beach, very steep driveway!

A pleasant little cottage with amazing views on a South Pender Island cul-de-sac with easy access to several trailheads and viewpoints. The driveway's got a pretty crazy slope, so if you're driving, be sure you have good brakes and good treads on your tires! (There was a storm while we were there, and the driveway was so densely covered with wet pine needles that we literally could not get enough traction to get our truck out of the driveway!) Thankfully, Alma and Mack are considerate hosts and cleaned up the driveway with a leaf-blower so we could get out. I think this wouldn't normally be a problem, but it's worth knowing about if you'll be there during the rainy season. Otherwise, a lovely stay.

One thing we can never predict is the weather. This was a very unusual occurrance and we are glad all went well and you got out safely.

My husband and I have owned the property since 1993. We built the cottage shortly after and used it with family and friends for 10 years. In the last 8 years we completed building our retirement home on the same property and live there full time. The cottage is now available for rent and we love to share this beautiful location with others. The cottage has its own view and is separated from our home by trees.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The self contained cottage has all the amenities of a full house. It is private and has beautiful water views on 3 sides.

We had a wish list for the property of our dreams for retirement and traveled to all the Southern Gulf islands over several summers til we found this perfect spot. Enjoy your stay!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

Renters have access to the beach and boat dock, with use of a canoe and rowboat (along with life jackets) and a crab trap.
The cottage has large outer decks, a fold out futon, swinging chairs, varied deck furniture and an outside BBQ . This provides full outside living surrounded by glass railings, a mixture of trees types and a stunning water view.
