Welcome to "Connected Hearts Home"!!

Pender Island is the most southern of the Gulf Islands, conveniently accessible from both Vancouver and Victoria via ferry.

This is a clean, spacious family home nestled in a private setting, surrounded by beautiful nature. We are in walking distance to numerous trails and majestic views.
This home feels like summer camp in the most beautiful place in the world.
You'll have the cottage experience, while staying in a beautiful home.

The space:
Large wooden dining room table to share dinners and visits with friends and family.
Beautifully renovated bathroom with shower and bathtub.
Brand new beds, pillows, bedding!
(1 king bed and 2 queens)
Two davenport couch beds that fold down into double beds.
We have plenty of board games and books.
Laundry facilities!
We have a generator and other heat sources available in case of inclement weather.
Air conditioning!
Large deck off of the kitchen with outdoor seating.
Backyard fire pit.
Very fast and reliable wifi and cell service (75 mbps download speed and 10 mbps upload speed)
Fully-fenced and gated yard.
Free parking available for 3 vehicles.

Please Note: There is a private basement suite on the property as well as a cottage.
There are no shared indoor spaces and all suites have separate entrances.

Other things to note:
Breakfast items will be provided for you to create your own breakfast in your own time!

Both the place and hosts are so welcoming, the place is fantastic both in location and comfort. Exactly as advertised. Plus all the little things, letting us know of local events, little notes in the house, fully stocked kitchen. Would recommend this for anyone.

This place is so spacious, clean, and thoughtfully curated. It boasts a large yard stocked with lawn games and a quiet back patio for relaxing. It’s a few minute walk to Magic Lake and centrally located. Perfect for our family of four. There is a lot of love and intentionality in this home and you can feel it!

My two sisters and myself came to stay to celebrate our birthdays. Sarah and Lesley were great at answering our questions quickly and are very friendly. The house was nice, clean and exactly as advertised. It has three nice size bedrooms that were comfortable. There is a beautiful, brand new deck to sit out back on now. Would definitely come back.

Excellent spot!

Spacious and cheerful spot to stay on beautiful Pender Island! Easy walk to Magic Lake and ocean access views. Bedrooms are cozy and kitchen is very well equipped! Lesley and Sarah are awesome hosts and full of tips on how to get the most out of staying here!

We enjoyed our stay. However we were somewhat disappointed with the odour & overall cleanliness (particularly in kitchen/cabinets). As a result we did not cook…and we had the windows open throughout our stay. Perhaps a deep clean & deo flakes (from poulins) would be helpful. It is an older property so this would likely be an improvement.The host was extremely responsive to us and communication was definitely a positive. Generally the listing matched the amenities provided & we were provided with a refund (portion) due to construction issues. This was also a positive.

We are extremely disappointed to have received this review… Until now, we’ve had a total of a perfect 10.0 rating from 32 reviewers. Lesley and I take great pride in our property, especially in the overall cleanliness. We truly strive to give our guests the best possible home, clean and comfortable and very affordable. We also make ourselves available for all communications and go above and beyond to fix any situations that may arise during a visit. We would’ve been pleased to have had the opportunity to make this guest more comfortable during her stay.

5 Stars – Perfect Stay for Our Family!

We had a fantastic stay at Sarah and Leslie’s property on Pender Island. Their home is spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for a family with children. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and feel at ease, both indoors and out.The property is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need for a relaxing getaway. We especially appreciated the little extras—like air pumps and a well-stocked kitchen—which made our stay even more convenient and enjoyable.The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet close to beautiful Magic Lake. We loved waking up to the sounds of birds in the morning and spotting deer around the property throughout the day. It truly felt like a nature retreat.Thank you, Sarah and Leslie, for sharing your lovely home. We’d absolutely return again!

Tidy and convenient location to everywhere

Thank you Sarah for providing nice, clean and tidy home for my family to stay in. Also Sarah shared lots of secret location for us to have fun that only known to local. Pender Island is not big, the house is at convenient location in centre so we can explore both north and south Island with relatively short drive. Kids enjoyed the stay and will definitely comes back in future. Brun the dog is big but very friendly. 5 stars experience.

Family reunion

This home was perfect for my husband and I and our 4 grown up children. The hosts generously left breakfast food including eggs, bread, coffeee and cream in the fridge waiting for us. This was perfect as we didn’t get in until about 10pm so had no time to get groceries. There was a bbq and fire pit for our use as well as lots of games. The location is lovely as long as you have a vehicle as it’s too far to walk to most amenities. The hosts were welcoming and responded quickly to all communication. The place isn’t fancy, but it was clean, welcoming, the beds are very nice and comfortable, and it suited our needs perfectly!

Connected Hearts Touched My Heart

Pender Island is a magical place and staying at Lesley & Sarah's home was a comfortable gift for my weekend get-away... If you get a lucky treat sometimes Sarah sings by the campfire which we got to listen to and really enjoyed. The upper unit is spacious with 3 full bedrooms and then 2 additional couch beds in the living room. The bathroom is cute and decorated in a beach theme. The backyard has a private deck and table and the wifi reaches there so you can get wifi outside. Their dog Bron is very well trained and works well with other pets. The lake is across the street and they beaches literally in every direction. I will be back. It's hard to leave!

We had a fantastic time in this lovely house.

The house is right by Magic lake. We went boating together around the lotus flowers. The host provided everything for all of us 11 people need for the 4 days and 3 nights. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were very well equiped with lots of extra food, towels, soap and so on. The propane fire pit and the canoes are very nice additions. Thanks for being a great host to make our time enjoyable!

A warm welcome on Pender

We had a great time at this property. The hosts were very hospitable, helpful and welcoming. They had breakfast items there for us which was very generous and even accommodated us with gluten free begals anf bread. The fire pit in the back was a hit and the tree house and badminton in the front yard was a favorite for the kids. Being such a short distance from magic lake meant we spent a lot of time in the water. Thaks Sarah and Lesley for a great Holliday on Pender.
