Cabin was wonderful, just the right size for two people, but could comfortably fit a few more. Shower was spacious, pressure strong, water nice and hot! The scenery was gorgeous, a perfect little wooded getaway. We were in the area for a friend's wedding festivities and didn't get enough time to enjoy the cabin and property to it's full extent, so we'll have to come back another time to check out the hot tub, fire pit, and trails that looked like a lot of fun!The cabin was well stocked with supplies and everything we could need. Lovely propertly, clean, well maintained, and lots to do.We loved our stay, and you will too! Thank you David & Laurie!
I would absolutely recommend this stay to adults! If you have a toddler I would suggest bring a baby gate for the loft area (my little one was obsessed with the cute little stairs but did fall down them, ONCE) heâs ok! ŰȘ WiFi is a little touchy but it worked out for us as we stayed busy on the property exploring and at the near by lake! Iâd definitely stay again with my husband and friends!
We had a fantastic stay! The firepit and stars at night were the highlight. Our teens slept in the loft. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was stocked with thoughtful items.
great little cabin everything there to relax and enjoy nature unfortunetly did not get to enjoy most what with our timing and weather but would recomend it to freinds
I loved this cabin! It was very charming and cute. It was also clean which definitely makes a difference. This area is very beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub is great as well! Would definitely recommend overall!
Such a cute and beautiful cabin. Me and my partner loved staying here. Very secluded with hot tub, fire pit, beautiful indoor space, swings and private hikes within the property! Very secluded and you'd barely step out of the cabin grounds as it is very MAGICAL!
My husband and I enjoyed the seclusion and privacy of the place. Cozy and away from the Hussle and bustle of everyday life, but within 20 minutes of Andrews, NC.
Easy access and supplied with everything we needed for a quiet family weekend. No wifi or cell service kept us away from distractions and spent quality time together watching movies, playing games, in the hot tub and walking trails and enjoying the swings
I had a nice time staying at the cabin with my boyfriend. The location was very close to a wedding venue I attended in Topton, which turned out excellent! The trails on the property were also very pleasant to hike, and the views from the swing and fire pit were truly breathtaking.
This property was perfect for our family and close enough to NOC so we could kayak the Nantahala. We had a relaxing weekend and really enjoyed the opportunity to reconnect as a family without WiFi and electronics.
All the right things made this tiny house stay one to remember. The deck and extra seating areas were perfect, and it served as a great home-base to come back to from our days adventures.
Even for my group of 6, this tiny home didnât feel so tiny because there were so many things to do outdoors. My husband and I loved the hammock and hot tub and my kids loved the fire pit and swing. We took hikes everyday using both trails and saw the prettiest views. This was an exceptional birthday trip.
This cabin had everything you could need! The pictures are a little deceiving for size but ended up being perfect for our family. Plenty of places to sleep and the kids loved the little loft.
Directions to property were spot on, useful information in binder, very clean (other than one dirty pillowcase and a few small critters in corner of shower) and well appointed. Great location and convenient the the NOC and more; great quiet getaway with solitude. Very happy we chose this property.
Our family of 6 loves unplugging, getting away from our busy lives and connecting with nature! We enjoy renting a pontoon boat, tubing on Nantahala Lake and jumping off a rope swing on Rabbit Island. Our favorite thing is sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows and eating Dads Dutch oven peach cobbler. As a parent it's a great place to really connect as a family.
We are conveniently located close to the "Sky Chapel", Glen Choga Lodge, Nantahala Gorge (Nantahala Outdoor Center - NOC), Lake Nantahala, and the "Tail of the Dragon". This property has been in my family for nearly 200 years. We have Native American roots and named the cabin after my mother who we affectionately call Running Squirrel. Our land boasts wild turkey, deer, rabbits, and of course squirrels! If you are looking for privacy and to disconnect from the distractions of the world, this is the place.
You feel secluded surrounded by 17 acres of trees tucked between two mountain ridges as well as the breathtaking mountain top view of the lake. Relaxing in the hot tub while enjoying the mountain views is spectacular. Stargazing with little light pollution is remarkable.
