Immerse yourself in this fantastic gateway. This cottage will make you have the best experience! With 4 spacious bedrooms with enough room to accommodate the whole family. This cottage is fully furnished with everything that you would need to make your experience amazing. Furry friends are welcome! Based on approval from the host, please communicate directly by inbox.
This cottage is nestled off of the main road. It is within minutes of SR70 and SR75. The community is quiet and woodsy. It's within walking distance of one of the best parks around. 200+ acres of hiking, free fishing, and the best part... no fishing license required. There is a small waterfall at the park. This area was also the home of many Shawnee Indians.

Great stay, responsive host

We had a great stay at this home. The hot tub was large and clean. It was a unique house that felt like home. We enjoyed playing some of the vintage records. We would stay here again! (Family of 5, kids aged 7-13)

Great Private Place

There was plenty of room for the four of us. The house is nice, and the neighborhood is quiet and safe. I needed the nice, long driveway.

Book weekend roadtrip

We had a great stay. We drove in the check out the book warehouse in Dayton and enjoyed checking out the antique mall. The house was beautiful and in the country but had a reasonable drive to restaurants and stores. We will definitely be back to the area

Great place to stay on an antiquing trip

Planning an antiquing trip to Springfield? Stay here! This well appointed, comfortable house on a quiet street is the best place to unwind at the end of a full day of hunting treasures. Tired legs? Soak in the hot tub and look at the stars! (Towels provided) The place is very clean and the host, Matt, is so easy to work with. And his breakfast recommendations were spot on.

Beautiful house and area!

Very nice and spacious house, the backyard was a great hangout spot and we took advantage of the beautiful hot tub! Only 20 minutes from downtown, but it's a quiet and peaceful neighborhood

House Review

It was just one night but a nice place to stay - Spacious for sure. Only thing when looking at this home to note is the entrance steps are a bit unsafe if you have any issues with your legs. Owner was very responsive and helpful

Mom's Readathon Weekend

This was the perfect semi-local place for us to have our Mom's Reading Weekend. We were looking for a place that was close due to having young children, affordable, and with comfy places to read. We were so fortunate to find this listing. It hit all our requirements and more! The setting was absolutely perfect with the trees having the most beautiful leaves. We went for a walk around the street and the neighbors were all friendly and the area felt very safe! The host was easy to work with and answered all my questions very quickly.

Tecumsah Comfort

Four friends enjoyed several days at Tecumsah Cottage in Springfield, and we were blessed by our stay. The inside of the home was very well stocked and very clean. The outside was quite private for being in the middle of a neighborhood, and we loved the hot tub (size, temp, etc.). Our only "complaint" is that the number of the house is very difficult to find. But once you find it, you are very well settled for a very comfortable stay.

Absolutely Perfect

The house was clean when we got there. Everything was very cozy and comfy and felt like a true home away from home. It was just a short drive to everything that I wanted to do and see. I can't say enough positive things about this stay.
