This place was amazing!Shawn is one of the most responsive and genuinely helpful hosts I’ve ever had the pleasure of communicating with. He even helped us ahead of time by answering questions about local offerings (boat rental, etc). The property was amazing. Just as described and suited our party of six adults and six children perfectly. There are plenty of games, etc. to occupy the children (ages 6-13) and the hot tub was amazing for the adults. Additionally, the kitchen was perhaps the best equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a rental (coffee grinder for the win). Big thanks to Shawn for everything. You will certainly not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Our entire experience was just great - from booking to check out, everything went smoothly and all of our questions were answered quickly and clearly. The place was perfect for us as the destination for our family’s annual Christmas weekend. We even got snow, which added to the beauty of our visit. We are already considering a summer return. Thanks for everything!

Wonderful cabin!

We had an AMAZING time at the Victory Cabin! The house is absolutely beautiful with so many wonderful details. The arcade/game room downstairs was perfect for the kids. The great room was a spacious and relaxing area to hang out as a family. The owners were gracious and incredibly responsive. In addition to fun things at the house (hot tub, grill), there are many fun things to do nearby -- our kids loved the hike at Swallow Falls with its amazing waterfalls. Would highly recommend staying here!

This house was absolutely PERFECT for our long weekend! Upon arrival, everything was clean and ready for guests. The house has plenty of space for guests and so many great amenities. We chose to stay in and enjoy the house the whole time rather than our planned outings because of how fabulous everything was. The host is extremely responsive and communicated everything we needed to know for our stay. Any questions we had were answered quickly and with ease. We couldn't be happier with our choice and already looking forward to booking again!

Exceeds ALL Expectations

I booked Victory Cabin for our family weekend together. This weekend was our families first time together for more than a day in 5 years. We wanted fun, relaxation, no stress and lots of memories made and Shawn and Victory Cabin was the perfect answer. From booking, to communication during the stay, the cabin, it all, 5 stars! . We will be back.

Shawn was an incredibly attentive and thoughtful host and the property was even better than expected. Exceptionally clean with so much space and considerate touches for families! Super close to Deep Creek and Wisp (8 minutes max) but we just loved being together in a comfy, cozy cabin! The hot tub was new and very well-kept and S’mores at the lovely fire pit were a fave! This was a last minute choice as another host cancelled our reservation (we’d made two months before) two days before our trip (!!!!) and we feel like we LUCKED OUT because this was such a lovely “substitute” We could NOT have been happier! A winning property for sure; you won’t be disappointed!

We had an amazing stay at Victory Cabin! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit — from a fully stocked kitchen to cozy linens and thoughtful touches throughout.(loved the quote above sliding glass back door). Lets not forget the AMAZING hot tub which was a family fave!!! Shawn was an incredible host — friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. He went above and beyond when in helping us book the perfect stay . Check-in was smooth, and we really appreciated the quick communication whenever we had a question. The location was also ideal — close to a lot of hiking trails, stores and kids play areas, but still peaceful and private. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived and were sad to leave! We’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, worry-free getaway. Thank you, Shawn for such a wonderful experience!

The house was absolutely amazing! The owners truly thought of everything. From sharp knives (you know that’s always an issue in rental houses ), hand soap, extra blankets, and all the little details that made our stay so comfortable. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The hot tub was incredible, and sitting around the fire pit at night was the perfect way to relax after a long day of hiking. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.We absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!
