The house had everything we needed and more! We really enjoyed watching the whales from the balcony and the cozy decor. The house is very well taken care of and our baby loved the toys. The beds were comfy and was a great weekend getaway for us.

What a fantastic home in shelter cove! Everything about this house is fantastic! We enjoyed the hot tub too. The beds were great! Fully stocked with everything you need. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This place was great. Couldn’t have been any closer to the Host’s property description. The place was well equipped for a few day get away with the wife. Place was very clean and peaceful. I would suggest bringing your own food to eat in as there are limited options in Shelter Cove for food and groceries. We are definitely looking forward to returning someday.

We had a wonderful stay in Shelter Cove and couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental. The property had all the amenities you could want in a house, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings, cozy spaces to unwind, and attention to detail that made our stay effortless. And the hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the coast. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We had a great time and really enjoyed the hot tub and the ocean views from the living room/balcony. The property was super clean and beautifully decorated. The home was nice to come back to after a day exploring the area.

Place is awesome at a great price! No ocean view from the bedrooms, but everything else made up for it! Would most definitely stay here again and recommend to others!

Although the ocean views from the living room and kitchen are the best, you can see the ocean from both the top two bedrooms and a glimpse from the ground floor bedroom. So glad you enjoyed your stay and hope to host you again in the future.

This was our first trip to Shelter Cove and found this home at the very last minute. Leta was so helpful from the time we booked. The home is very tastefully done and well equipped for most everything. It was very comfortable for our family.We really enjoyed our meals at Gyppos and the Surf point coffee, suggestions shared by Leta.Would love to visit the cove and stay at this home for a much longer period.

My family has stayed in a number of vacation rentals at Shelter Cove over the years, and Abalone Cove was our favorite one yet! Everything was ready for us, and communicating with the host was a breeze and highly appreciated. We plan to try to get Abalone Cove booked again in the future.

The house is amazing, something interesting to look at around every turn. We loved our stay. The house was immaculate and had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully stocked and the location was beautiful. The hot tub was clean and a great spot to enjoy whale watching on an overcast day.

This was our fourth trip to Shelter Cove. We love the peacefulness and remoteness of the place. Leta's place was beautiful and super clean. I appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked. There was nothing I needed to cook a meal. Also appreciated how well the house was stocked overall - ample paper products, etc. We loved the hot tub on the deck and used it twice while we were there. Loved that we could hear the sound of the waves from the deck even though being a bit away from the water. And of course the view was excellent. Leta was very helpful answering questions before we arrived. We would definitely return.

My family and friends had a wonderful time spending the week here at the Abalone Cove. Great views and excellent amenities - big enough for our group with three kids.

Wow this place was amazing! 3 bedrooms, one on each floor and the bottom floor feels like its own suite. This was a perfect indoor and outdoor place with a fantastic deck to soak in the view. Speaking of soaking the hot tub under the stars was also lovely. There is also a cool restaurant/brewery for this nights you don’t want to cook. Beautiful well appointed place!

Wonderful stay in the cove

My young family and I had a wonderful stay at abalone cove. The home is whimsical, clean, and comfortable.i appreciated the built in safety gates at the top of both stairs and games for the whole family.

Perfect coastal getaway

This was a perfect coastal getaway for our family. This was our home base for 2 days and we explored the Redwoods and the Shelter Cove area. House was very clean and had all the necessary amenities. View is fabulous!

Birthday Getaway

The property was amazing, with plenty of room for three couples and a variety of activities from exploring the town to lounging around the house. The house would be gorgeous in any weather. I highly recommend this place.

An amazing place to stay! Very clean and functional for our time. Great view of the ocean. Wildlife was everywhere in the neighborhood with deer, foxes, pelicans, and seals. The place was within walking distance to cafes and local brewery.

Beautiful Home

Very unique and cozy place. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Beautiful cabin with lots of unique details! A soaking tub downstairs, and hot tub with a view!There a nice little area next to the house for your dog to play. Nice walkable area. Beautiful sunsets from the deck.
