Very happy - very clean - no pets allowed! Notice to remove shoes in house, amazing view from kitchen. Drawers and cabinets are thoroughly labeled so easy to find everthing.

Had an amazing time at Shelter Cove! The house is beautiful, and the surroundings are even more incredible.The hosts have thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and enjoyable, from all the amenities in the house to detailed instructions and great recommendations for activities in the area. We truly couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and beautiful place to stay.The drive from Redway down to Shelter Cove can feel a little intimidating the first time, but it gets much easier after that. Totally worth the drive once you stay here. Looking forward to visiting again !

I would definitely recommend staying at The Beach House! It was incredibly inviting and the hosts seemed to think of everything! There was plenty of space, it was clean with the best views of the pacific. The whole area was heavenly and the locals were welcoming. If you’re planning a trip to Whitethorn, stay at The Beach House- you will love it!

This place is perfect to take your family. The kitchen is fully stocked. There are games, books and toys for children. The ocean views are fantastic and the deck is a great place to hang out and listen to the sea lions and ocean. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of bedding.

This place is perfect… and Kieth went above and beyond. We were on a motorcycle tour and one of our bikes went down. Kieth stepped up and went out of his way to help us… which he absolutely did not have to do. The house was spotless and had a BEAUTIFUL view. Also just mere steps to a great pub (Gypos). I would book this place over and over!

Great vacation-

We had a wonderful anniversary trip and this place made it special- welcoming - clean - and all you could need! A special card and bottle of wine as we entered - equipped with games - beach stuff and all the amenities needed for a beautiful stay! We can already booked for next year - the cherry on top - the amazing view !

Our stay at the beach house was wonderful. We went fishing for two days with a local charter and KEITH was extremely helpful with his local knowledge. We will definitely be coming back to the beach house.

Perfect Coastal Retreat

Stayed at this wonder vacation rental for 6 nights. Very comfortable with excellent views and easy walk down the hill to the beaches of Shelter Cove. Owners went above and beyond to make us welcomed and to help make is a special vacation for us!

We absolutely loved our stay, we pick this location every year and will always continue to stay here. Keith and his wife are very tentative and kind and so helpful. The place has EVERYTHING, clean and spacious. Full loaded vacation home for all your needs.

Beautiful property in a wonderful setting

My group of 5 only stayed one night as we were in the middle of a motorcycle tour of Northern California. We were so happy when we arrived to a have such a nice spot to hang out. Plenty of space and everything was really clean. We were able to walk to the brewery as well as the Surf point coffee house. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Beautiful property in Shelter Cove

Getting here was a challenge, but the area and property was worth the trip! Plenty of extras for anyone who forgot something. Kitchen had all we needed for cooking. Bedrooms and bathrooms were just as the listing indicated. The owners really make efforts to ensure the stay is comfortable and special. Would recommend this rental to anyone in the area!

Perfect getaway

The house was beautifully organized and clean. Located in beautiful and quiet shelter cove my group of 5 friends had a wonderful stay. One of the best homes I’ve been to. I would definitely recommend for anyone including families with small children as they have accommodations for that too. Including dining ware, toys and safety features.

Beautiful Home & Views

Beautifully remodeled home with high end details and every appliance, toiletry, and comfort of care you could ask for. The ceiling is stunning as well as the view of the water and trees. Everything is labeled for easy access and ease of use. A welcome basket filled with goodies, a binder of how-to and activity ideas meet you at the door. Keith has great communication, accommodating and helpful. We loved our stay!!

The host thought of everything

The house is lovely and included everything we needed. We stopped in town to buy laundry supplies but they were already included as well as a cupboard full of spices, coffee, tea, even a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. All the cupboards and drawers were nicely labeled. The beds were comfortable. My sister and I liked watching the planes take off from the little airport down the hill. I'm a senior but I was able to walk to the beach. All in all, a great experience!

Truly Exceptional

This home was truly exceptional. Pristinely clean, organized and well-appointed, and beautiful. You can really feel the great care that the owners put into designing the space, and preparing it for guests. We could not get over how thoughtful this place was; they thought of everything a guest could need! The kitchen was extremely well equipped, (the knives were actually sharp, which I've never experienced in a vacation rental!) The beds were very comfortable with very nice quality linens and pillows. The views of the ocean and town below were stunning. We have stayed in countless VRBO properties over the past 20 years, and have never found a place so well cared for. I never want to stay anywhere else again in Shelter Cove!
