Lovingly renovated from top to bottom, our waterfront home is just a stone's throw away from the Aegean sea, with an unobstructed sea view. Located in Costa Ilios; a gated community with Cycladic village architecture, Mediterranean gardens and natural rock formations.

The grounds are car-free and safe for children to roam. Inside the community, walk to the private beach or Olympic sized saltwater pool* with beach bar. As an extra service housekeeping and change of linens provided for free every 5 days of your stay.

Our house is ideal for a family or two couples +1 and sleeps up to 5 people total, not more. With 90 square meters, interior living space on 3 floors, with 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, washer dryer, wifi, smart TV, AC and ceiling fans throughout the house.

Important Note: There are no security cameras or listening devices on the property. Walk to the private beach or saltwater pool* with free loungers and umbrellas. We do NOT provide Beach Towels so please bring your own!

The main bedroom on the second floor has a double bed, small balcony, ceiling fan and AC. Small bedroom on the Second floor has a single bed, a fan but no AC. Full bathroom with rain shower on the Second floor. On the basement level there is a large bedroom with 2 single beds a closet and mini fridge, AC and ceiling fan. On the basement level there is a full bath with rain shower and a utility space with washer/dryer

The newly renovated kitchen is equipped for LiGHT meal prep, with a coffee maker, fridge, and a full-sized electric stove. Many food delivery options are available nearby and Costa Ilios has it's own taverna open from May to October. Tap water is safe for cooking and brushing teeth but not for drinking.

There is a Smart/cable TV service and Wifi. Our house has AC/Heating units and ceiling fans in all rooms except the small bedroom.

The house is managed by Margarita our housekeeper. She will meet you & show you how the house works. STARTER SUPPLIES of coffee, dish soap, toilet paper, kitchen towels will be supplied after that please shop your own supplies.

Costa Ilios near Ornos on the South West of the island. Just a 7-minute drive from the main town and the airport on an easily accessible road (this is an important distinction for Mykonos!). Ideally located for tranquillity whenever you wish for it, and all the buzz, nightlife and restaurants Mykonos has to offer.

Costa Ilios is not close to public transportation, you can use the taxi app IMove or message me and I can send you the name of a driver we use. Still to enjoy the house and the island we STRONGLY recommend having your own transportation car, ATV or motorbike. (Pushbikes are not useful, the roads are very steep and dangerous to walk on - there are no sidewalks).

* The community pool and taverna are open from May to October. No discount is given if they are not available.
** There is no smoking inside the house. No recreational drugs on the property. No parties or loud gatherings. We welcome guests who are over 25 years old, agree to the House Rules are respectful of neighbors and keep noise and other disturbances to an absolute minimum.

Great Stay at Costa Ilios

We enjoyed our time in Mykonos at Costa Ilios. The property was as pictured, beautiful view from the front patio and a short walk to the pool and private beach. Vicky responded quickly to questions both before and during our stay. Margarita was very helpful showing us around and helping with anything we needed on site. The property was clean and well maintained. The small room upstairs needs a fan or something to increase airflow. The larger room upstairs gets quite a breeze from the sea, which wasn't a bad thing, we could just really hear it coming in off the water. It was nice having the pool and beach on site to spend a day without having to try to drive and park around the island, but it's definitely more convenient to have a car if you're planning to explore.

Great stay! Perfect location!!

Vicky is a great host!! The property is beautiful, peaceful and only moments away from town and the night life. I had a rough trip and was a bit out of sorts when I arrived. Ended up locking myself out on the first night and everything!!! However, Vicky and her house keeper were more than patient with me and very accommodating. I am not a person that loses things, especially keys, but again, I had a rough trip and when I landed I found that my daughter’s flight had been canceled, so she wouldn’t be able to join me as planned. The Taverna located in the complex is perfect and the staff very welcoming. The private beach is nice as well as the pool area. The location is only moments away from town (old port, windmills and the new port). It’s best to stay here/ away from town UNLESS you WANT to stay in the action and have a loud night. I loved the fact that we could stay in town until the “wee hours” and come back to a peaceful place where we woke up to a beautiful view. I WOULD DEFINITELY VISIT MYKONOS AND THIS LOCATION AGAIN!!!!

Just a bit away from the crowded hustle and bustle of Ornos. Beautiful harbor view. Relaxing, secluded, uncrowded private beach. Modern and comfortable villa, fully appointed. Only suggestion is to add a hair dryer.

Great Location But Very Basic

Great location, beautiful view, and cute place, but no a/c, dishwasher, microwave, or wall shower. Laundry washer leaked onto the floor. Shower areas were so small even the handheld showers sprayed onto the floor. No hairdryer. Kitchen is dated w limited, older kitchen supplies. Not even enough glasses. We had to purchase supplies. The upstairs double bedroom is the only comfortable one. The third bedroom (w twin bed) is a closet. Water leak in basement bedroom made it very damp. We had to leave windows open for ventilation and the narrow design of the 3 floor unit created a constant wind tunnel (Mykonos is notoriously windy). The stay was exhausting. We are a well-traveled American family of 5. We stay in flats instead of hotels so we can fully experience the local culture. We set our expectations and make adjustments accordingly. We stayed in 3 locations in Greece during this trip. This one was the worst. In fact, it was the worst stay in all our travels to date. Cute in the pics and a great location and view, but ill-equipped and VERY uncomfortable.

Beautiful setting, fabulous location, especially the little private beach. We hired a car, but discovered an excellent taxi app to download, iMove, which would be a useful addition to the information sheet provided. The staff in the little taverna are very friendly and most of the meals we had were delicious. Thoroughly recommend this resort!

The pictures were very accurate. The view from the front door and upstairs bedroom is beautiful. We picked up dinner one night at the restaurant on the property. We swam in the huge salt water pool and relaxed on the private beach. We bought dinner at a local restaraunt and at on the front porch watching the boats in the harbor. The place is spacious and very comfortable.

Beautiful and Tranquil Location!

Picture perfect location with great little private beach. Safe, clean and classic Greek unit. Nice people who own and maintain the property. Shopping, dinning and fun all night long at the Old Port harbor nearby (during the summer season) was something we have never seen. Can’t wait to come back!

Great 12 night stay at Costa Ilios on Mykonos

Fantastic stay at Vicky's villa near Ornos. Brilliant views across the bay watching the boats and lovely scenery. The villa is in a great location if you want the balance of a quiet location during the day and the night life of Ornos, Mykonos town or St Johns a car taxi or bus ride away. The villa has all the facilities in typical Greek style and the private beach is superb for lazing, swimming and snorkelling. However it was end of season and very quiet so the on site shop and taverna weren't operating. Bonus if your a Shirley Valentine fan you can go to see the film locations at St Johns and the Hippy Fish for a great meal. Enjoy !!

Great place for friends and families!

We (4 adults and a child of nearly 2 years) had a fantastic holiday in this beautiful apartment. Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our stay and the fantastic seaview very much. Ordentliches Haus nach griechischem Standard, unpraktische Lage, Anlage hat beste Zeit hinter sich.

Reihenhaus nur ordentlich, nicht sauber. Ungeziefer in Küche und einem Schlafzimmer. Das größte Schlafzimmer liegt im Kellet, das Schafzimmer mit einem Bett ist winzig, nur für Kinder geeignet und wird auch sehr heiss, da es nur ein sehr kleines Fenster hat. Sicht, Entfernung zum Pool und zur Badebucht sind gut. Großes Manko: es gibt keine Einkaufsmöglichkeit und kein Restaurant in der Ferienwohnanlage. Man muss immer mit dem Auto nach Ornos fahren (ca. 4 km).

Great location perfect for a family holiday

Very pretty resort located a 5 minute drive from Ornos with a large communal pool, its own private beach, taverna and mini market (both sadly not open yet during our stay). The property has a beautiful outside space in front with a gorgeous view of the bay towards Ornos. The seating area inside is not very big but it didn't feel cramped for our family of 5 and it was well appointed and welcoming. Communication with the owner was excellent and the local staff was helpful and polite. Would wholly recommend!

Amazing! Exactly what we were looking for!

We are a family of four and the villa was the perfect size for us. We absolutely loved the outdoor terrace downstairs as well as the upstairs terrace off master bedroom. The kitchen was the perfect size for storing snacks and quick breakfast foods and making coffee to sit and relax watching the glamarous yachts coming into the harbor. The property is extremely well kept and we enjoyed the beach and pool. The nights we didn't want to venture out we had a great meal at the restaurant. Exploring the beaches and the town of Mykonos was very convenient to where the villa is situated. The one thing we do have to say is a car is definitely needed if you plan on going to the beautiful beaches and Mykonos for dinners etc... Overall we had an amazing time and hoping we can return back to Mykonos and this beautiful Villa. Alison Liotti New York City

Pictured don't do this property Justice

To be honest I cant fully describe my first impressions on getting to this property. The pictures posted here are so nice but you should see this place for yourself as I believe it looks even better in real life. From the stunning view to the facilities on offer I had a wonderful week while staying at this property. I cant even say enough about Vicky the property manager who was so professional in her service and was always available to respond to any query and assist in getting things sorted. The only advice I would have for future visitors is you would want to rent either a vehicle or a scooter when staying here as it would be easier for you to get around and if its over your budget you can always take buses that would get you into town and to pretty much any part of Mykonos. I would definitely recommend this accommodation to any future visitor.

Lovely accommodation

The villa is a wonderful base for seeing the island. Fantastic views from the patio watching the boats go by. Everything was catered for with 2 large bedrooms and bathrooms and a small single room . The pool was not filled with water and the complex facilities still closed as we visited early in the season but everything looked good. Vicky the owner was very informative and helpful at all times and would highly recommend the accommodation. Platys Gialos has a great beach and watersports and lovely food and staff at Yialo-Yialo. Definitely visit Apaggio Restaurant for food in Ornos as Pedro is a great host with fantastic food. We loved it so much we went 3 times in the week.

Spectacular place to spend your time in Mykonos!

Spent a week in this beautiful, quaint villa in an exclusive area of Mykonos. Private beach, large pool area, fabulous water views, especially at night with the yachts lit up in the bay. Friendly people, delicious food, spectacular beaches – Mykonos is paradise! And staying at this villa made our trip all the more special. The owners could not have been more accommodating and, along with the maid service, took care of our every need. We left there feeling pampered and well rested. I cannot wait to return!!

Lovely well looked after property .

We stayed here for a week as part of of a 2 week trip around various Greek islands. The property was clean and furnished to a high standard. Split over 3 floors the property was ideal for a family. The house had stunning views overlooking a nearby bay and a lovey outside eating area to enjoy the views. The only request would be to cut down the bushes at the front of the property a little so the views of the bay could be seen properly whist sitting with a glass of wine in the evening!

Best girls' trip yet!

We loved it!! For the past few years, a group of friends from college and I take a trip as a way to enjoy and take a break from the city. We had always talked about visiting family friends in Greece, and tried to find a place that was close enough to their home, but also near a city with places to go out. This was not only the perfect location distance-wise, but we had everything from gorgeous views to clean amenities and even our very own beach!! The pictures certainly do not do it justice. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a place that is both relaxing and easily accessible to the surrounding culture and activities.

Had a great stay in Costa Illios!

The house is even more lovely than the photos! The view from the house is fantastic. The house is very nicely decorated and very clean. It was a big plus having a washer and a dryer. It's in a great location. A quick drive to Mykonos town, shops and restaurants, but out of the way enough for a peaceful and relaxing time. The community of Costa Illios is beautiful and well maintained. The pool and beach were great. A big thanks to Vicky for the great home rental and customer service! Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

I have been coming to Mykonos since the early 80s, I raised my children here and loved the enduring bohemian spirit and desert beauty of the island. We gravitate towards the authentic unspoiled places where you can relax and enjoy the aesthetic natural beauty. We dip into the cosmopolitan trend setting aspect of the island whenever we want to a part of that too. This is also what our house offers inside the vibrant Mykonos scene at a relaxed distance.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

A great house for up to 5 people. Costa Ilios is a unique location resort for Mykonos, family-oriented, no cars and beautiful gardens make it safe for kids and teens to roam free. Compared to the rest of Mykonos which can be very busy in high season the atmosphere is here relaxed, close to nature and low key.

While a few people swim in the saltwater pool it's the private beach that is the hidden gem. A cove that's always protected from the strong Mykonos winds, the beach is a mix of sand and stones with safe swimming for all ages. Unlike the majority of beaches in Mykonos where lounge chairs and umbrella rentals can be expensive, on our beach they are free to all guests.

Along with my architect/ builder partner we completed a total renovation of our Mykonos home this year. The house, although not big and location is a gem with a magnificent unobstructed waterfront views. We are in a unique setting with beautiful gardens and a community of cycladic, sugar cube shaped homes, private beach with free beach loungers and umbrellas. Walkout on the terrace and you are steps from the azure blue Mediterranean sea.
