Victorian charm mixed with modern comfort creates a space that is both historically rich and easy to relax in. 10' ceilings and lots of windows make for an airy, light space. Cook a feast in the spacious kitchen with quartz countertops, gas stove and plenty of small appliances. Find inspiration while nesting or a home base for your Pacific Northwest adventures.
We had a fantastic stay in this adorable house! It was well-appointed and very clean and comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay in Portland. We loved the walkability to the main street with some amazing restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and boutiques. Would 100% stay here again!
It was a great stay for a weekend boys bday trip- with Trailblazer game and Breweries. Very clean, just as advertised-and fresh morning coffee was a plus.
I am from Ohio originally, but have lived in the PNW for 35 years. I enjoy the abundance of natural areas, proximity to the ocean, and hanging out in Portland. I enjoy hearing from guests why they are visiting, and also just enjoy providing people a nice place to stay.
I've lived in this neighborhood for 20 years and it has changed a LOT in that time. It is a really fun place to hang out and in particular it is nice that it is not super large (really only about six blocks) so it lends itself to some walking, but also just hanging out.
Visually what is different is the clear-stained wood siding on the house, even though it was built in 1900. I get many comments from people as they walk by. There are also a lot of VERY old roses along the front. Finally, the mansard roof is uncommon now, but was common with the small Victorian house such as mine. There is some detail work in the gable end in the front, and also I have left a little bit of the original paint along the roof line.
