We loved how close the property was to the beach and the entire down town. We could walk to everything and almost never used our car. The space was clean and looked just like the pictures. Only complaints would be the difficulty of finding permit parking on the street and the noise from the unit upstairs is very loud even when people are just walking around up there.
The apartment's location was fabulous. The apartment itself was fair. Because it is on the first floor, under another apartment, the noise level from above was quite disturbing, even after midnight. The apartment only has one small air conditioner. It could use another in the bedroom. For the money, I think I could have done better elsewhere.
parking situation was a disaster-even with the permit they give you, itâs still nearly impossible to find parking. the cottage was not clean and there were also spiders and bugs in the cottage which was horrifying.
Unfortunately, overall, I would not recommend the place. The location was great and check in/out was very easy, but other than that it was not worth it. Granted we went July 4th weekend so it was of course a little more expensive, but the place was not maintained well. One roll of toilet paper, non-functional coffee machine, no hot water, could hear upstairs neighbors footsteps and such very clearly, saw a few bugs here and there and just overall had a poor experience. Having to pay extra for linens was an extra undesired touch. Will not be staying here again or recommending.
Overall enjoyed my stay here. Clean, great location close to the boardwalk, and true to description. My only complaint is says "sleeps 3." You do not want to sleep on the couch. Imagine laying a wooden 2x4 in the middle of your bed. Now lay on it. That's what the couch feels like.
Nice place, had some flying bugs when we got there, property mgr showed up about 1-2 hrs and sprayed. Upstairs there were two small children and their parents, a bit noisy, but they went to sleep by 10.
This was my first solo vacation - and this was perfectly sized and located for someone committed to going whichever way the wind blew.Easy access to the beach and all of the downtown activities.
This is a clean basic rental. Worked well for us, especially the location!! One thing to know is that nothing is provided in the house - not a salt shaker or a drop of dish soap. Not even a square of toilet paper. So come prepared! Others complained it wasnât clean but it is. The house had some pretty bad water damage that other renters were commenting on.
