Best vacation rental I have ever experienced! Price, cleanliness, communication with property managers and overall experience was incredible! Ready to return to this exact spot when we come back to the area again!
We have stayed at this cabin 3 times. Very cozy cabin and beautiful location. The owner is always very responsive to our needs. We will be back!
Thank you
We had a fun and relaxing time at the cabin while escaping the awful heat back home. Great place for all ages. A hike to MtMitchell, jumping rocks in the creek, sâmores over the fire, lots of games, reading on the back porch rockers, and sketching the view of the creek.
We loved the cottage. Plenty of room for our family of 5 and tje 2 little dogs. We loved tje creek below and the vidit from the bears đ». We loved beimg able to have a fire pit for bonfires.
We lost power for 2 hours no big deal.
I've stayed here twice now. It has a perfect view of Cattail Creek and easy access to walks and serious hikes. On the other hand, it is not a luxury resort. I look forward to staying again.
Great cabin in the mountains with a small waterfall right below the covered deck. Large living room and kitchen (which had just been remodeled). This was our 2nd time here and we probably come back next year.
From start to finish, this trip was a pleasure. Great communication with the property manager, great directions, gorgeous location. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will recommend this cabin to our friends. The porch might have been the best part!
Does it get any better than a week with family, in a cabin outside of town, with no cell service? Plenty of room, great view, constant sound of rushing water and an amazing view of the creek.
Very spacious cabin. Very peaceful and quiet. Nice hiking trail after the road ends. This place is getting back to nature...no phones, no internet....loved it.
Roomy living room/kitchen combo and cozy den, each with a fireplace. Stunning location with a view and sounds of the creek from the deck. Sâmores at the firepit, rock hopping on the creek, hiking âthe little loopâ, trips to Asheville and Burnsville.
Everything was as described. Very clean and host was super helpful. Our kids and grandkids spent one night and hungout the next day. Plenty of room and they had a blast in the creek.
We would highly recommend this property.
This house actually looked better than the pictures (big TV etc.)! Nice, open living room and beautiful creek right outside. The owner was also extremely accommodating when we were surprised with snow. Overall great experience.
We enjoyed the sounds of the river and the access to the river. The home is well-stocked with most items. The owner is very accommodating. It is hard to locate so be sure and take the directions the owner supplies, because there is no cell service.
We had the *BEST* time. The Owners are really great to work with and we enjoyed every moment. Sitting on the porch in the rockers with morning coffee, listening to the creek rushing below and the birds singing... beautiful serenity. We will visit again!
Two years ago we first visited and the updates add to the charm of the cabin. It has everything we need for our diverse group of 4 adults, 3 young kids, and 2 dogs. The location is breathtaking and provides multiple adventures in the creek along the waterfall or walking on the local roads. The location has a few quirks that come with age and the reality of cleaning a cabin in the woods. We loved the place because it provides so many different kinds of entertainment for our family.
Well equipped with all the comforts of home. Plenty of room to stretch out. Loved hearing the creek below the house while sitting in the rockers on the covered back deck.
Will return if we need the space again. Thanks Linda :)
Nice cabin, nicely equipped kitchen. Lots of clean towels and linens, extra blankets...yes we did need those. Driveway is a bit steeper than we expected. Burnsville is a nice small town and we enjoyed the change from Tampa.
If you want to get away to a quiet place I recommend this on. It's about 15 to 20 minutes to Burnsville for groceries and things. An hour to Asheville. Sitting on the back porch listening to the nearby creek with waterfall is very calming. I just wanted something different and relaxing as opposed to the beach and this did it. Lots of nature trails and things nearby.
