Nestled on our family-owned 6,000-acre ranch in the breathtaking Texas Hill Country, our newly renovated cabin offers the perfect escape for outdoor enthusiasts or those seeking a peaceful retreat. The cabin itself is designed for comfort and relaxation, featuring a cozy queen-sized bed, a spa-like bathroom, and a full kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, fridge, Keurig coffee machine, and all the necessary utensils for preparing your meals.

Our cabin shares a charming outdoor space with the adjacent cabin, complete with a grill, two fire pits, outdoor furniture, and tables. The perfect setting for an evening around the campfire.

Our ranch is home to four privately owned lakes and 30+ miles of trails waiting to be explored. So whether you’re here for an outdoor adventure or a peaceful getaway, our cabin offers everything you need for an unforgettable stay. Great stay! The views were beautiful, and the host communicated very well throughout. The property is a bit of a journey to get to, but the host provides an excellent guide that makes it easy to find your way!

Had a great time at the secluded cabin. Did a bit of hiking, jeep 4x4 trail riding, and wife got to pet some of the farm animals.

while the highway we needed caused our drive just to be a little longer than what we would’ve experienced before the flooding it was still a very nice ranch. the cabin was very appropriate for me and my boyfriend. the host was very helpful through the whole thing . would go again.

Absolutely amazing!

An isolated cabin on a 6000 acre ranch, a gorgeously decorated inside and outside space, and a horse came to greet us when we got there! Ashley was amazing with information and gracious with all of my questions as i am new to vrbo. Directions were clearly outlined and easy to follow to get to the ranch and always a quick response when i texted. I wish we had time to check out their nature hiking trails on the ranch but we'll do that next time for sure!

Absolutely incredible place. The house is perfect for a couple and their dog to just hang out and unwind.The fire pit was awesome. We cooked hot dogs and steaks and s'mores. The night sky was beautiful, so many stars. We took out dog for a hike on the loop trail and he got to go off leash for the first time, besides in a dog park. He had a wonderful experience here. He got to meet a horse, a hog, sheep, and cows. This place was exactly what we were needing. Thank you so much.

Great Country Cabin

The cabin was super clean and well stocked. The host was extremely nice and stopped by to check when I arrived. I was traveling for work and carry a large amount of tools. The cabin is on a large ranch and I didn't have to worry about my tools or truck. I didn't even bother to lock it up. I highly recommend it.

Great anniversary trip!

The hill country cabin was adorable. It was clean and spotless and decorated very cute! Our host was very accommodating and thoughtful. She left us a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our anniversary and there was cute jar filled with all of the ingredients needed to make smores. The Williams farm fresh eggs and honey were delicious. We brought our ATV and rode it on trails on the ranch. The only con for our entire stay was that we didn't realize that another cabin was right next door to ours. Overall, our stay was amazing and we plan to return again and hope to bring family with us next time.

Not happy

I was not happy with my stay only stayed one night had booked it for 3 nights. We had a terrible night sleep me and my husband rolled into each other on the bed. The mattress was horrible. I woke up all bitten up by something not sure. I refused to stay there another night. I paid for 3 days but was very unhappy with my stay. The cabin overall was nice it just wasn’t good stay. I don’t see why I can’t be reimbursed for my other 2 days I didn’t stay.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet your expectations. We recently replaced the mattress with a brand-new pillow top model, and most guests have found it incredibly comfortable—but we completely understand that mattress preferences can be very personal. As for the bug bites, our property is marketed as an outdoor getaway, and while we take every precaution to keep the cabins clean and pest-free (which we confirmed was the case during your stay), time spent outdoors can unfortunately come with the risk of mosquito bites, especially in the warmer months. We also want to clarify that, once a guest has checked in, refunds are handled directly by VRBO. We did provide instructions on how to submit a refund request through the app, but we didn’t receive confirmation that a ticket was ever submitted. We always aim to be transparent and accommodating, and we’re sorry this experience wasn’t a perfect fit.

Hiker's Paradise

I spent three days hiking with my dogs on this gorgeous 6,000 acre ranch, and it was not nearly long enough! The small cabin was perfect for the three of us, with a very well-equipped kitchen and large bathroom. The bed is very comfortable, and the air-conditioning more than managed to keep up with the over-100 degree temperatures. The main hiking trail started just across the road, and after a 5-minute walk, we reached the point where the dogs could be off leash. There are several trails with different features to explore (some were flat and shady, others were rocky and more challenging). The scenery is breathtaking. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. Ashley, our host, was very responsive by text both before and during our stay. She answered all of my questions and, when I reported a problem with a water leak, and it was fixed immediately. The directions to get to the cabin were clear and easy to follow (several gates and cattle guards along the last 12-15 miles). We are already planning our return!

Our family has owned this ranch for over 60 years, and my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins all enjoy the ranch to this day. We all grew up next to each other and went to school at Nueces Canyon. This has been a special place for our family to create lasting memories, and we hope the same for you!
