Perfect Massanutten Vacation

The Emerald Escape cabin was absolute perfection! Our group of 8 adults and 8 kids/teens had plenty of space to sleep, hang out, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The cabin was one of the best well stocked places I've ever stayed, and all of the furnishings were comfortable and stylish. The cabin was also extremely clean! We very much enjoyed our stay!!

The Emerald Escape – Perfect Getaway!We had an amazing stay at The Emerald Escape! The place was spotless and beautifully maintained. The views were incredible — we loved starting each morning with coffee on the deck. After long days of mountain biking and golfing, the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind.The kitchen had everything we needed (the kids were especially thrilled with the waffle maker!), and all the bedrooms were fun, cozy, and comfortable. The huge TV in the family room made watching Game 7 of the World Series a blast!Everything about this home made our trip easy and enjoyable — we’d absolutely stay here again! Thank you!

Perfect Birthday Getaway

We celebrated my husband's birthday with family and friend's and everyone was so impressed with the accommodations (children included). The space is the perfect combination of elegant and cozy. We enjoyed cooking and eating together in the well appointed kitchen and dining area. They had everything needed for our stay and we didn't need any of the plates and flatwear that we brought with us. You will literally only need to pack the clothing and toiletry that you will personally need. I highly recommend this property for any of your family gathering needs.

Family adventure

Beautiful home, clean and well kept. no source of filtered water.Coffee maker didn’t work, and there was a problem with fire pit. Otherwise everything was awesome, even the guest beds were comfortable, the pillows were good. we had 14 adults and you always felt comfortable.Host is kind, responsive and accommodating. Great place to stay, thank you for everything.

We also provide three coffee makers (drip, Keurig, and a specialty espresso/coffee machine), with instructions for all of them included in the Welcome Guide. Beautiful, conveniently located Massanutten residence! Gorgeous great room with floor to ceiling windows, yet complete privacy without being overly remote. We enjoyed the clean hot tub. My mobility impaired mother was able to handle the few steps required to enter the main level. We were thankful for the convertible chairs in the main level bedroom that fold out into a more accessible bed. Good frame, very comfortable. The coffee and waffle supplies were extremely well-stocked and greatly enjoyed! Would definitely return! Very responsive hosts!

Escape to a green getaway

The house left nothing to be desired; there was every imaginable kind of high-end kitchenware, the beds were very comfortable, and the “gathering” room had such commodious furniture, like the sofa. There were 11 of us family members, and we could All sit on the sofa to watch a movie! We had a WONDERFUL time! Only drawback was the ultra steep driveway , but we received ample warning from the host. and we could all sit on the sofasofa

Beautiful and Well Appointed Home

The Emerald Escape is a beautiful, brand new home with a lot of thoughtful touches. They have a well stocked coffee bar, waffle bar, all the kitchen items you'd need. The bedrooms are roomy and the beds are comfortable and new. They really thought through most everything you could need during your stay. The house was super fun for the kids with lots of games to play. The open concept was perfect for a family gathering. The only knock was the cleanliness of the floors. They felt as though they hand't been cleaned in some time. Additionally, we had a bit of a challenge with the tub drain in the basement, but the host responded very quickly and sent a repairman the next day.
