"Moon Waves" is our little slice of paradise, located off a quiet street in Salvo! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is a place to relax and a short walk to the oceanfront.

As you enter the home, you'll immediately notice the open living area with high ceilings and a sliding door to the front porch. The kitchen is equipped with gourmet appliances, quartz countertops, and all of the cookware you will need to prepare today's catch. Access to the laundry is off the kitchen area. The dining and living areas are both furnished with comfortable furnishings for the entire family. Make your way upstairs to the cozy master bedroom and enjoy the screened in porch and sea breeze. The 2nd bedroom offers a queen sized bed, and the 3rd bedroom has a full size bed with a twin on the top and a twin trundle on the bottom. The living area is furnished with a Smart TV with access to streaming services.

*All bedrooms are equipped with a TV and amazon firesticks, and the living toom TV has all the channels your heart could desire!
*We have extremely fast wi-fi, so working from your vacation is a non issue!

Grab a sandwich from Waves and enjoy it on the picnic table, or cook on the grill. Rinse off in our outdoor shower, and experience the peace this home offers! The main deck also offers spectacular views of the stars in the night sky! There is a great view of the sound and ocean from widows peak as well! We have indoor and outdoor games for your family and friends also!

Guests have access to the entire house! Please keep in mind this is our home and we want our guests to enjoy it as much as possible and treat it as if it were their own home.

Our neighborhood is right off 12, and just a few houses down from the beach access path! The beach here is not crowded, it's quiet, spacious, and beautiful! We have some excellent restaurants and shops in the tri town area that are walking distance as well. We are also very close to the sound and there are many spots to enjoy the sunsets and scenery on the sound side.

Nice stay

Enjoyed our week on the beach. House had everything we needed and hot tub! Small town and beaches were not crowded. This was our first time to OBX. Beautiful sunsets!

This rental was a lifesaver. We literally booked on a Sunday to check in on a Monday. Plans changed due to our towing vehicle breaking down and not making it to the KOA nearby. We were so happy to find a rental and spend time with our family that were staying at another rental nearby. The home is beautiful and well stocked. Quiet, low key neighborhood. Easy access to beach and the hot tub was glorious! Loved our stay!!!

Quintessential Salvo

This home is everything you are looking for if you seek a quiet outer banks vacation. Communication is quick and accurate. Home is well kept and perfect size for our family of 4. Lot is very private for its size due to trees on the property. Beds and furnishings are all comfortable. Kitchen with two stoves to include a French door oven is great for those that love to cook and still be engaged with family in the adjacent living room due to the open floor plan.All this topped of with a rooftop deck for those OBX sunrises and sunsets.

Wonderful Stay! Would definitely book again!

This house was wonderful. Exactly as pictured. House had a beach cart, chairs, a boogie board outside plus a fire pit & hot tub. Short walk to the beach & the beach was not crowded at all. We came over Labor Day weekend & had the best time. This house was so well stocked. There is a drip coffee maker & Keurig. Kitchen well stocked with just about anything you'd need plus a small countertop ice maker. The owner provides you with a few laundry pods & dishwasher pods to get started. There were paper towels & toilet paper plus trash bags too. Upstairs bed is so comfy! AC worked great. Neighborhood was quiet. Everything worked perfectly. Absolutely no issues at all & would love to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Great access to the beach, the house was clean and well-equipped. Very nice french door oven was a plus. Owner was proactive in communication and helpful. A good experience.

Stay in Salvo

The property was as listed. Great location as far as neighborhood and beach access. Very quiet and family friendly. The property was very easy to entertain and comfortable for all. Property manager was great and very accommodating and checked in on us several times to ensure we were taken care of. I highly recommend this location.

Very nice inside, short walk to both Atlantic and Pamlico Sound beaches

Pros: kitchen feels premium; living room is very nice with large smart TV; 2 bedrooms downstairs and bathroom are very comfortable; towels and linens are included; good amount of space throughout; host Marissa is incredibly responsive; short walk to beaches; has parking for 3+ vehicles; very clean overall. Cons: the upstairs masters bathroom does not have a shower, only bath tub - and the tub is actually in the bedroom itself, not the bathroom. OK for us, since we're a couple but others may need to think about this. Also physically difficult to get in and out of tub safely, because of the way it's positioned - had to hold on to a towel bar for fear of slipping. Nowhere to hang clothes in masters bedroom. Overall, we had a great stay. One note about location - this is far away from the more commercial part of the Outer Banks (Kitty Hawk, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head) so if it's your first time in the OBX, you may spending a lot of time driving. Few restaurants in the area, but then again, the house has a great kitchen.

Nice house in Salvo with a short walk to the beach. Home owner and property manager are pleasant.

Updated home in Salvo with quick access to all Tri-village has to offer. 5 minute walk to the beach, lots of deck views (including ocean and sound). Can see the sunrise from the master bedroom. Kid and pet friendly. Overall a great experience.

Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay! The home is lovely and located in a great neighborhood. Everything about it felt like home away from home.. nicely furnished, very clean, great internet/TV, comfortable beds, and well stocked kitchen. It's just an easy, short walk, to the beach. The rooftop deck has amazing views of both the ocean and sound. Marissa was extremely responsive and very accommodating. We will definitely return when we get the chance!
