30A Thyme is the coastal escape you have been dreaming of, expertly-remodeled and thoughtfully designed you will feel the calming zen the minute you step inside. Completely updated in 2024, our home is in the highly sought after area of Eastern Lake in Seagrove Beach. We are South of 30A and under a 5-minute walk to the beach or community pool (unheated). The neighborhood is calm, quiet and wooded while being just minutes from the expansive beauty of the Public Beach access at Eastern Lake, no private beach concerns. The location could not be more perfect for sun, sand, swimming, and relaxation. Greenway Station is a short walk from the house for wonderful dining, shopping and adventure (Yolo Bike and Paddle) options in the State Forest.
PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in booking a PET STAY or a SPRING BREAK STAY, please reach out prior to booking. We do require PRE-APPROVAL for both of these instances.
Once you arrive at 30A Thyme, you will see that our home has been designed for convenience, comfort and calm. Better than new, our home has been remodeled from top-to-bottom, inside and out. The first and second floor porches offer plenty of choices for outdoor entertainment and relaxation. Step inside and prepare to be wowed with sunny and bright, open-concept living. From gathering for family meals or laughter-filled family game and movie nights, to creating gourmet meals, our indoor space provides space for everyone. The living room offers comfy seating options and a large smart TV for your group. A large round dinning table seats 4 and the breakfast bar has additional seating for 4 more. The gourmet kitchen has all the bells and whistles for the chefs in the group. The kitchen is fully stocked from the electric range, French-door refrigerator, microwave/convection oven and double drawer dishwasher to the blender, toaster, pancake griddle, waffle maker, and options for your morning brew which include a drip coffee maker and Keurig machine. We have provided it all for you. A walk-in pantry adjacent to the kitchen will store all of your goodies for the week.
30A Thyme has 3 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. On the second floor, you will find the primary and secondary bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a wonderful king-sized bed, sitting area and desk space. The primary en-suite has double vanities, a large walk in shower and a wonderful soaking tub. The secondary bedroom has a delightful queen sized bed and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and single vanity. The sunny bunk room encompasses the third floor, with 2 sets of twin bunks (4 twins total), a closet and 2 porches. The 3rd full bathroom with a tub/shower combination is on the first floor.
Just off the kitchen you will find the grilling deck with a propane Weber grill, outdoor shower, and beach chairs and umbrellas. We have provided 6 back-pack, beach chairs and 2 umbrellas for your use. At the front of the house, 30A Thyme has driveway parking for 3 vehicles and convenient golf cart charging.
If you are interested in renting a Golf Cart during your stay at 30A Thyme we have one, 6 seat, electric golf cart exclusively for the use of our guests at 30A Thyme, 30A Blue and 30A by Kaja. For all properties it is available on a first come first serve basis. If you are interested in a golf cart rental during your stay please inquire as to its availability. The cost is $600 for stays 5 nights or more, and $400 for stays 4 nights or less. The golf cart must be rented for the full duration of your stay.
Pet owners can delight knowing 30A Thyme is a pet friendly house. Please note that ALL PET STAYS MUST BE PRE-APPROVED. Please reach out prior to booking so we can discuss terms. Non-shedding, dogs under 40lbs, with extremely diligent owners are preferred. The pet fee is $250. Exceptions may be made for 2 very small dogs but this is on a case-by-case basis and will involve a second pet fee. Please be aware that all visiting dogs are prohibited from the beaches in Walton Co. per Walton Co. regulations. This includes all of 30A.
30A Thyme is the perfect getaway for a family, 2 couples traveling with children, a family traveling with extended family, or girls/guys weekends. Our tight-knit neighborhood is a mix of residential homes and vacation rentals always watchful for one another. Parties and loud, rowdy behavior are strictly prohibited. Exterior security cameras are present on the property. Immediately upon booking, a copy of the valid drivers license/ID will be required from the primary renter. The primary renter is required to stay on property for the duration of the rental. 30A Thyme is sure to become your favorite Seagrove Beach getaway.

Everything about this rental was perfect! Communication with the owner was easy and when we did have a minor maintenence issue, it was handled immediately. This house is even cuter in person than the pictures depict and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. I recommend renting the golf cart as well as its super convenient to take to dinners. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Beach House
Let me start by saying communication with the host before and during our stay was the best I’ve ever received.When we arrived at the home it was even more beautiful than pictured. The decor consisted of gold/green touches to highlight the entire home.The proximity to the beach is an easy walk and it was seamless for bike riding to restaurants and stores. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend for anyone else!

Beautiful house!
Beautiful property! Rent the golf cart if possible makes getting around so much easier. The beach chairs are comfortable and convenient and have cooler pockets for keeping drinks cold.
Kitchen is adorable and has all necessary items for a great stay!

Quiet location. Unpaved roads make it feel very removed from the busy 30a. Walk to beach as well as several restaurants etc. The home is almost completely remodeled and has every amenity. Very tastefully decorated. Comfortable beds. Large modern TVs. All new appliances.owner is extremely responsive.

Spring Break
My son talked us in to returning to 30a for his senior year and last spring break. I was dreading it bc we usually stay in Watercolor which is insane during Spring Break. We were pleasantly surprised by the lowkey vibe of Seagrove and loved the house. Easy to walk to the Perfect Pig for any meal(I think we went 5 times). The kitchen was fully stocked with all the things you need to make a great meal. Owner was very easy to get in touch with and communicate with. No complaints. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Happiness is....
Not having to think about one thing while on vacation! This home had EVERYTHING you could ever need and more!
The host made this the most enjoyable stay I have ever had on 30A and we have been coming for years. Location was the best ever. Quiet street that offered tons of privacy yet minutes to local shops, restaurants and a 5 minute walk to the beach. I will for sure be booking this home again and can assure you you will love it as much as we did. The front porch was the perfect spot for morning coffee and after beach chats. My kids enjoyed the porch on the second floor off the master - great place for reading and playing games. Thank you for making this trip one to remember!

Lovely property
30a Thyme was a lovely property! The host was an excellent communicator, both informative and responsive throughout the process. We cooked almost all of our meals for a family of 8 at the house and they had everything we needed. It was beautifully decorated & very clean! Appliances were modern and we felt like we were the first family to stay there. We appreciated that they’re dog friendly & the outdoor shower was amazing to rinse off after the beach. The a/c worked great. We never needed to adjust it. TVs had great selections for sports & kids shows. The only slight disappointment was no fault of the home owner. We brought scooters plus 3 bikes for our four young kids and the entire street is rocks and the driveway is gravel. We would have kept those at home had we known. But again, not the home owners fault. Just something we wish we knew beforehand. We highly recommend getting the golf cart provided! It was easy to pick up (just a houses away), a lot of fun to ride around on, go get ice cream, easier parking options in Seaside etc… Thank you 30a thyme for another wonderful week on 30a!

Lovely stay
We stayed for a long weekend in July. 30A Thyme is so cute. We loved it was on a shady gravel road. Very cozy. All the furnishings and fixtures are stylish and lovely. Beds were all very comfortable. My family stayed in the top floor room that has the bunks. Lots of stairs (36 I think my son counted) but even 2 of us in our 30s had no issue. This is not a dig, we knew stairs were involved, just reassuring anyone else. :) The provided beach chairs are the standard Tommy Bahama, so they are backpack, which makes transporting them to the beach super easy. Perfect beach chair in my opinion. The walk to the Eastern Lake Beach Access is very easy. I had never been to this part of the beach before. I HIGHLY recommend it, but note that you do have to cross through waist deep brackish water. (Apparently this isn't always the case but was our entire stay.) We did not mind this, AND I think it's a bonus because it means there are less people on this part of the beach. We carried our stuff above our heads no problem. The dune lake water area is perfect for kids of all ages. Pro tip - we saw people using inflatable boat rafts to ferry their belongings across. We did not use the Rams gate beach access but did walk by it, and it's very close as well. We'd absolutely stay here again. No complaints.

MaryClaire- We are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your stay at 30A Thyme. 30A Thyme underwent a full remodel in early 2024 so everything is like new. The lake water must have been very high (not the norm) during your stay. The norm is ankle height to just below the knees. But as you found out, wading through the outflow is well worth it because the beach at the Eastern lake beach access is beautiful and not nearly as crowded as most 30A beaches.
