Amazing Views! 3 bedroom home with hot tub on nearly 40 acres. 4397 ft above sea level, this updated charmer will make you feel as if you are in the clouds. Explore the dirt roads (bring your off road toys). Spectacular sunsets, views and stargazing. Book in conjunction with Country Cowboy Hot Tub Hideaway (next door on its own 20 acres!) Enjoy the 4 seasons. PCT hiking trail 10 min, Julian, Anza and Borrego Springs, hot springs are 20 to 45 min drives. 1.5 hr to San Diego. Chefs kitchen, A/C
What to expect:
We may have most of what you need. Reach out with any inquiries.
Dirt roads will require 4 wheel drive during rain and snow, so please check the weather for upcoming weather. We will find a way to shuttle your group in if there is a last/minute storm. Let’s keep an eye on the weather.
Master has one King bed, 2nd bedrooms have 2 twins, living room has a Queen sofa bed.
One additional roll-away bed.
Exterior camera over garage for added security.
Spa is cleaned and sanitized. Cover will be on unless you suggest to have it removed before check in. It gets very windy so we like to keep the cover on to keep dirt and bugs out. Specific instructions are needed beforehand to remove cover. Let us know what degree you would like us to pre-set for you.
Pot Belly fireplace may be a first for some of you! Reach out for instructions.
High winds may come up unexpectedly. Wildlife including coyotes, mice, rabbits, bobcats, deer, snakes are sometimes seen and heard. Please keep a close eye on your children. The home is not baby-proofed. The backyard is gated, but please stay close to your children.
No smoking allowed, this is a VERY high fire zone area. There is not an exterior fire pit for this reason.
Please keep garage and all doors and screen closed when not in use.
A text will be sent to your phone with instructions and QR code to access door key.
Gate code will be given out before arrival.
Antique Foosball table, shooting range and water/20 volt at RV space. Gated rear yard with large front and back covered porches.
Country Cowboy Hot Tub Hideaway is next door on its own 20 acres. Book together for larger groups or multiple families.
Guests can use all 40 acres of the property and can bring their own Quads, bikes, cars, RV's etc. There are nearby quad and campground areas for the experienced daredevils!
Dirt roads to and around the property. It's best to have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to access Via Oak Grove and the property during rain and snowy conditions.
The driveway connects to the lower neighbor’s yard. When you find the gate on the South end of the property, that will be the property line (unless you have booked both properties with Country Cowboy Hot Tub Hideaway).
EV charger is level 2 Wallbox Pulsar Plus J1772 and Tesla adapter.

This is pure country living at its finest! Dirt roads and wildlife. But still not to far from famous hiking trails, Sea World, Borrego Springs, and casinos.
Enter through gate and have access to nearly 40 acres of privacy. Private dirt roads on property, parking with water and 20 volt for an RV.
This property is out in the country and stores and gas stations are at least 20 minutes away. Please do all your shopping and get gas before arriving. (There is an EV charger available). We have water and meat there for emergencies, but plan ahead. There are spices, olive oil, and condiments. The meat in the freezer can be purchased for $10 each. We like to have food on hand just in case of emergencies.
Babysitting service is offered at $20 per hr for first child, $5 per extra child per hr. Extra housecleaning/laundry/linen services offered for $25 per hour. Sometimes you just need to relax and recharge 😉
Private guided hike to the famous EAGLE ROCK. $65 per person ($100 minimum for one person) includes private guide and lunch to this amazing destination, don’t miss this exciting adventure during your stay!
(Subject to guide availability). It is an easy/intermediate hike. Message me to check availability/date.
IMPORTANT NOTE!!
- Upon booking, a signed rental agreement and a valid government-issued photo ID are required.
No Smoking of any kind, no bonfires or fireworks allowed. There will be a fee of $400 if any of these requirements are violated.
HOW TO FIND THE HOME and EXTERIOR FEATURES
It is always best to use COORDINATES. If you are pulling trailers it will be very hard to turn around if you go too far.
From Borrego Springs go West on Montezuma Valley Road. At about the first flat area look for the pine trees on the rt and you will find Via Oak Grove Lane. Turn right onto the dirt road. There may be grooves, usually on the left side of the road. We recommend 4 x 4 vehicles in rainy and snowy seasons. The road is about a mile long and when you see the telephone pole on the right just over the steep hill you will find our gate with the sign “IRISH OAKS RANCH”. The keypad is on the left pole and the code will be given before check in.
From the West on Montezuma Valley Road: (about a ½ mile past the store and Yeti statue) you will see some Pine trees on the left – this will be Via Oak Grove Lane. Turn left. Then continue with the same directions as above.
Continue onto the driveway and follow around to the left when you see the ENTER sign. It will take you around directly to the house. You may exit out across from the garage going left and it will take you out the EXIT. Try to avoid the little rock pile with the flags on the driveway. You may bring your ATV’s/toys but we prefer to follow the ENTER and EXIT directions to avoid accidents. There are other little roads behind the big bush by the RV hookups. There is even a “shooting range” if you have Air Soft guns or slingshots. The neighbors know we all like to use our ATV’s/motorcycles etc., but please don’t kick up too much dirt on the roads outside our property. There are 40 acres to enjoy.
The RV hookup has water and 20 volt plug and is about 40 ft from the house behind the big bush. It is in a super private location.
Remember that although this is an amazing country living experience, there may be coyotes, snakes, bobcats, mountain lions etc. Please be cautious and protect your loved ones. We like to keep our home mouse and pest free. Keeping the doors and garage doors closed has helped.
USING THE FRONT DOOR KEYBOX
You should have received a text and an email with instructions. There will be a QR code to scan at the window of the box. Press the button on the front of the box. When the lights turn on you will aim the QR code into the key window. The box will slowly release the key from the bottom of the box. Remove the key with its holder and leave the key in the holder until you check out. It may take a few tries to retrieve the key. When checking out GENTLY put the key in the bottom with the silver facing to the right. It will automatically retrieve the key back in without force.

Orange County native but stumbled upon this amazing country hideaway! I enjoy rock formations (there is a cool one on the property!), old architecture, hiking and birds. I love to share the Country Hot Tub Hideaway experience with guests. It makes me so happy :)

We love the absolute privacy, 4 seasons and small town folk! Everyone here is super kind, but it is rare occasion that you will see a soul (unless you seek them out!).
Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?
This home is out on nearly 40 acres, tastefully updated with the most coveted HOT TUB on the deck with a sunrise and sunset view! Just over Borrego Springs and near the PCT trail head. Where can you get 4 seasons with all this privacy so close to San Diego, Casinos, Orange County, Anza-Borrego State Park, mining, hot springs etc!
