Hidden at the outskirts of the charming town of Gig Harbor, this spacious three bedroom A-frame offers a cozy and inviting retreat for your next vacation. Take just one step to access the main floor where you'll be greeted by a fully stocked kitchen, complete with a stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, and all the necessary appliances and utensils to prepare delicious meals. Unwind in the living room, where you can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace or catch up on your favorite shows on the smart TV in the loft. Take advantage of the free WiFi to stay connected, or take a relaxing stroll along the water's edge, where you can lounge on the reclining outdoor chairs and soak up the stunning views. When it's time to retire for the night, you'll find two bathrooms, plenty of towels, and comfortable linens to ensure a restful sleep. For families, the cabin also features a baby gate and a travel crib, as well as games for the kids to enjoy. (Note that the yard is not fenced). Whether you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle or simply spend quality time with loved ones, this charming cabin in Gig Harbor is the perfect destination. We had a great stay at the A-Frame recently. The hosts provided the little extras that made our trip feel like a vacation. It was a perfect place for us to have access to the city for the World Cup, but was far enough away that we could switch into relaxation mode for the rest of the trip.

The host was wonderful, the property was even better. Our family enjoyed the games prepared and the kayaks! The kitchen was fully stocked and I appreciate the little touches to make it special—nice lake towels to use, staples in the pantry, and fishing rods in the closet. Th cabin was beautifully decorated and had comfy beds. A nice reprieve from our tour through Olympic National Park!

The house was just as described. Beautiful view from the deck and living room. Beds were comfortable and kitchen outfitting nicely for home cooking. The neighborhood is large but didn’t see many people around as we came and went. Communication from the owner was perfect. Nice place to relax and take in the scenery.

This was a very clean and beautiful house. Nicely decorated, and an outstanding stocked kitchen. The A-Frame was located in a perfect setting and was a perfect place to stay after very busy days attending a funeral and burial services in the area. We enjoyed being out on the deck watching the ducks swim around, eagles swoop down trying to take fish from a fisherman in his boat and seeing fish jump out of the lake and hearing the frogs at night. The owner kept in contact with us before, during and after our stay.

Wonderful place

Overall the stay was nice, I was surprised it was so far back into the gated community but so nice and quiet once we got there. The view was incredible i just wish the weather had been nicer so we could be oitside more!

Family Time by the Lake

We loved the space and layout of this house. Enough room to spread out, and large windows for the rainy days when staying in still felt connected to the lake right off the deck!This was our first time visiting our family in the area, proximity was great, directions were spot on. We all voted that we would choose it again, next visit. Thanks for the perfect spot.

Wonderful home away from home

The home was so welcoming and cozy - nicely furnished and with really comfortable bedding. The check in process and information about the house was clearly outlined, it was easy to find and get to. The house is in such a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, our kids even slept in for once! The house was exceptionally clean, too. We would definitely stay here again!

I've lived in Salt Lake City, Utah; Montreal, Quebec; Edmonton, Alberta; Vancouver, British Columbia and now in Fremont, California so I consider myself Canadian, American and lastly Korean since my DNA is 99.5% Korean. I never lived in South Korea but I do enjoy binge watching Korean dramas when I'm on vacation, hiking when I'm near a forest or mountain, and running with my husband whenever I have time. With my kids, I enjoy learning reading books and playing board games!
I enjoy being a host because it gives me great pleasure to help people make memories by providing a restful retreat with all the basics so guests can just bring their vehicle, clothes and food to eat, drink and laugh together with those they love.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The lake is quiet and does not allow any motorized vehicles so it's perfect for those wanting to play in the water. I don't have to worry about fighting the tide since this is a smallish lake unlike the time I kayaked with my kids and got scared I wouldn't make it back because I couldn't kayak very well against the tide and with my youngest right in front of my lap. Plus, the community play area has a basketball court, tennis court and a little playground. I can't wait to try pickle ball or badminton in the tennis court.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

I've never seen such a spacious A-frame with three bedrooms that actually have four walls and a door that is located right by a lake. With a front yard and a backyard, introverts can find space outside to be alone too. Extroverts can gather in the living room, dining area or TV room / loft to hang out. It also has an office in which someone can also sleep if they don't mind being surrounded by windows.
