Un atterrissage en douceur est une fantastique retraite en bord de mer de quatre chambres à coucher et de 3. 5 salles de bain - situ��e au 16 Peppervine Trail�� et elle est désormais adaptée aux chiens!

Admirez les brises chaudes, le son des vagues et la vue imprenable sur l'oc��an. Les adorateurs du soleil de votre groupe seront au paradis sur le vaste pont du deuxième étage qui s'étend sur toute la longueur de la maison. Sous ce sont un porche couvert (parfait pour se balancer ou faire la sieste) et un porche filtré.

À l��intérieur, le coin salon baigné de lumière sur deux étages est mis en valeur par les hauts plafonds, les bois chauds et une belle cheminée. Le plan d'��tage ouvert se jette dans la salle �� manger qui peut accueillir confortablement huit �� la table et plus au bar du petit déjeuner adjacent. La cuisine du chef est équip��e d'appareils en acier inoxydable, de nombreux plans de travail, d'un évier de ferme et d'un refroidisseur de vin. Il offre même une vue sur l'eau de deux côtés!

La chambre principale lumineuse, située �� ce niveau, dispose d��un lit king-size �� baldaquin, d’un acc��s priv�� au porche et d��une vue imprenable sur l��Atlantique. La salle de bains principale privative est dotée d'un jacuzzi profond et profond et d'une douche carrel��e spacieuse avec banquette.

Il y a trois chambres supplémentaires à l'��tage. L'une comprend un lit double avec salle de bain privative, un salon priv�� et un accès au pont. La deuxième chambre queen dispose ��galement d'un accès terrasse privée. La dernière chambre offre deux lits jumeaux. A wonderful week at A Soft Landing - one we hope to repeat!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a our third summer in a row on the island and the best one yet - we loved A Soft Landing and found it to be very comfortable and well suited for our family. The back deck, beach access and screened in dining space were particular highlights. The only significant issue we had with our stay were the golf carts. The four seater cart only had two seatbelts - one for the driver and one in the back, which made it nearly unusable for us as we had two small children with us who had to be buckled in at all times. The six seater cart was very slow and also the battery, even when fully charged overnight, wouldn't last more than an hour before the light came on, causing us to have to return home from our outings when we had intended to stay out. We really want to return next year and rent this home again but would have a difficult time doing so if the golf cart issue isn't resolved. It is the only reason I gave four stars below. Otherwise this is a special spot which we were grateful to call home!

A Soft Landing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We are longtime renters of “A Soft Landing.” It has been a while since we have rented it and the changes they have made are very nice. The interior has always been lovely, but the updated look is especially nice. It distinguishes itself by the lovely, professionally designed interior. The new golf carts are so very appreciated as well. Finally, I don’t know what is responsible for the better temperature in the primary bedroom, but sleeping there was so comfortable. The bedding and pillows were very comfortable. In fact, I slept better there than I do at home! Finally, this was the cleanest we have ever found the property. The cleaners did an excellent job.

Such a great property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time we have stayed at "A Soft Landing." The location cannot be beat with the beach a short walk away. Gorgeous sunset views and a beautiful back porch and deck for lounging. Nicely appointed property , especially the deck furniture and screened in porch for dinners accompanied by the sound of the waves. The property was slightly less clean and ship-shape as it was the first time we rented. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean, it just felt as though the floor - especially the pretty tile floor - hadn't had a good scrub in a while. The back door handle was constantly falling off and a stripped screw made it impossible to fix. In addition, the coffee pot was severely cracked and unusable. There was a backup pod coffee maker, but we would have preferred to make a pot of coffee in the morning. All in all, we love this property and would rent it again and again.The bedrooms are perfect for a family or two and the beds and linens are all very nice. I think it just needed a better pre-arrival floor cleaning and attention to the details.

5 star rental on BHI

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have vacationed on BHI for many years, and this is our favorite rental. In addition to a beautifully decorated home filled with the homeowner’s artwork, the location was outstanding and the home’s cleanliness exceeded our expectations. It is the little touches,however, that were just as impressive - from the filled rotating spice rack in the kitchen filled with every spice you could possibly need to the upstairs coffee station with a Keurig and a mini fridge so that you didn’t even need to come downstairs for your morning coffee, it was obvious that the homeowners put a lot of thought into making their home a special place. A 5 star rental for sure.

Beautiful house with a beautiful view!!!

There was a storm one evening and we sat on that wonderful porch and watched God show off for hours. It was amazing! The kitchen is well stocked and there is a huge kitchen table where we had wonderful meals at night. We had a few issues with the golf carts. Wendy Wilmonts staff was very attentive and had it fixed promptly. The location of this house is great. It is on the middle of the island so accessing East beach, the market, and the ferry was very convenient. We ate out a few times and we’re not impressed with the quality or price of our meals. We have been coming to BHI for 15 years and the inflation was quite evident. I will bring more food from home next year. Overall, I highly recommend A Soft Landing!!

Good space. Inside lacking

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good space. However, many things lacking for what would be expected in a 10,000$ rental. Kitchen appliances and dishes etc are very haphazard and unorganized. Many dirty. Only 7 forks supplied. Need a full silverware count. TVs worked ok but were basic and sound was poor especially in the main living area. Water pressure was very low and water temperature was Luke warm for showers. Reports there were beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys in listing. But on arrival only two beach chairs were not ripped at the seat. Boogie boards only one was useful the other was coming apart on the edges and cord was broken off. No beach or sand toys. I filled out a request on our first day to ask for additional beach items and no one responded. Dishwasher did not clean well even with pre cleaning the dishes in sink and we used the heavy clean setting. Washer would stop halfway through the cycle and then you hard to restart it. Overall a good location and good space in the house but would not rent again due to inside amenities lacking. This rental needs some help inside.

Soft Landing Review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love the renovations the new owners have made to the property and, best of all, the new golf carts. That was long overdue! With that said, we arrived a full hour after check-in and they were still cleaning the house upon our arrival and continued cleaning for another 45 minutes after we arrived. Several light bulbs were out. My husband had to transfer a bulb from one of the bedrooms to the master bathroom. The light at the entry has a couple of bulbs out. The bath mat outside the master shower was soaking wet. We had to wash it immediately upon putting our suitcases down. Also, the beach access walkway had plants growing up through it. There was a deflated balloon in the kitchen/dining area. It seemed since the cleaning crew was short handed that the cleanliness wasn’t what it normally is.

Needs new master bedroom mattress, plumbing needs updated, faucets leaked, toilet in master bath does not flush properly. The master bedroom area does not get any ac like the other rooms.. had to buy a small fan. Couch needs new cushions
