The house exceeded expectations! The view is great, the house is so well stocked and clean. The furniture was comfortable and the hot tub was lovely. The beach access was a couple block walk but still very easy and a close walk to town. We would love to come back and stay here!

Wonderful Home!

We had an awesome stay at the Light House. It's perfect. The house has a super comfortable layout, beds, and furniture. It has a well stocked kitchen, good supply of games, great TV, bikes, beach toys and towels ... a slice of heaven on earth!

wow, place is great.

My husband and I stayed here and were eventually joined by 2 others. We stayed for 4nights. We really liked the place, Well designed house with lovely decor. Kitchen fully equipped to steam up some crab. I loved the master bedroom, all the windows gave such nice light with a great view, very quiet except for sound of waves. We used the bikes every day, just rode wherever we needed to get too.I am suprised this place is a VRBO.

The Best

Our family makes a yearly trip to the Cannon Beach/ Manzanita area in late summer or early fall. We have stayed in a dozen different locations. This home was far and away our best experience yet. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, and 3 minutes to the beach. Not a single complaint from anybody. In fact our kids asked if it was a mansion upon our arrival haha. 10 stars

Fabulous Beach Home

So many fantastic aspects to this lovely beach home. Named "The Light House" for a reason, the home is flooded with natural light and has great views from the main room, master and porch. All amenities have been considered from a gourmet kitchen to beach chairs, throws and games. Everything in this home is top notch. Well designed and tastefully decorated. An easy walk to the beach; a bit longer to town although some in our group made the trek. We will only work with Manzanita Beach Getaway for any future trips; both properties were superb. The friendly staff provides excellent communications and follow up.

Very Special Home

The Light House is a very special home, perfect for our family beach getaway. The location is so convenient to both town and the beach. The views from the deck and the house are wonderful. The outdoor areas, front and back, are spacious and comfortable with plenty of seating, a firepit, picnic table and bbq. The interior is beautiful! The entire house is decorated beautifully and stocked with anything you could want. The kItchen had everything we needed to cook for our large group. Beds and linens were all first rate! Toys, games, beach gear, bikes all provided. There was nothing we could want for. Just a beautiful, comfortable, well stocked home that we can't wait to visit again soon.

Clean and pretty house. The issue is the VALUE. Its over a mile from true beach access. I think the property and management does a good job but the honesty is about the place the side of town is full of no access and huge beach dunes, large sand hills full of sharp willows - and so its kinda not worth it. I run a rental in luxury place and I know its a lot to manage a luxury place. So I appreciate the high end cost of service. That said this is over 500 PER BEDROOM per night and that feels really high for the place. ON the other hand, I did love the good linens and true CLEAN and stocked home. Overall lovely place and good management but there is a sid eof town that has a open and accessible beach and Id pick that next time,

We are sorry to hear you didn't find the local beach access that is near the home. We do have a map in the guidebook in the home showing it is 500 feet from the house, located just around the corner. We are glad to hear other than the beach access issues, your stay was pleasant.
