Welcome to your Dream Vacation or getaway (The Poconos best kept secret) âŠThe Hideout! âŠ*a Gold Star Resort! âŠLots of activities! This home is nestled within a four-season amenity-filled, gated community! Just two hours from NY, NJ, and Philly metro areas.
Professionally decorated. Sophisticated with a Touch of rustic charm. An open floor plan with vaulted ceilings. A fully equipped kitchen, with everything needed at your fingertips. This home has an Impeccable blend of comfort and entertainment! Boasting 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms,
The primary bedroom is an elegantly decorated retreat with its own full bathroom and large walk-in closet for added privacy.
Use our wildlife binoculars and enjoy birdwatching while Natural light floods the sun room, with door leading to outdoor deck dinning with Weber Grill, large outside area, with fire pit. The lower level of this home is an entertainment haven, features a huge bar with arcade (Ms. Packman, marvel pinball, etc.), game room (pool table, foosball, poker table etc.) also stocked with lots of board games. Even a theater for movie night! Theater sofa has a full sized sofa bed, if needed for extra guests.
The Hideout community offers seasonal outdoor heated swimming pools, beach access, lake usage, A 9-hole golf course, The Recreation building has a golf simulator, sauna, arcade room, game room, reading room and Library. 2 Indoor tennis/pickleball courts and 2 Outdoor tennis/pickleball courts. A first class Fitness Center and Aerobic Room, Card Room. Indoor shuffleboard court, Basketball Court, Volleyball Court.
Stepping outside the sports complex, there are six additional outside tennis courts, two of which are lit for nighttime play. 2.7 mile walking trail, mini golf course, baseball field, two basketball courts, 4 shuffleboard courts, 2 bocce courts, six horseshoe pits, two volleyball courts, two handball and racquetball courts, 4 playgrounds and community garden.
Enjoy classes at our Art Center and or our Woodworking Shop.
If itâs Winter time come and experience the ski hill, Community offers a seasonal ski hill perfect for family friendly skiing and tubing. The Ski Hill has one chair lift and two magic carpets for the Bunny Hill and the Tubing Hill. At the rental shop, the Hideout's ski and snowboard technicians are happy to provide you with the equipment that you may temporarily use on the Hill! Rentals include skis or a snowboard, boots, and poles. Helmets are also included. The Ski Hill offers private and group lessons. Reservations for lessons can be made one week in advance. Check out the ski hill brochure included in the photos section or check out the website hideoutassoc.com for more details and guest pricing.
Guests are also welcome to enjoy the cozy ski lodge at the base of the hill complete with a fireplace, hot food and drinks. Perfect for taking in the views while staying warm! The Ski Hill Grill is open from 8 am - 2 pm on Wednesday and Thursday. It is also open during Ski Hill operation hours on Friday through Sunday. Dine in or take out breakfast and lunch.
**The community can close any amenity at their discretion. Homeowner is not responsible and will not offer discounts or refunds for any non-use; includes weather related closures.
Also serving great food at the seasonal tiki bar by the main pool or go to the restaurant and bar at the clubhouse.

Please be sure to sign in the âWelcome to Bear Cabin sign in bookâ. Located at the homes welcome center on the wall in kitchen by the member badges.
Member badge needed for entrance to amenity. We have nine amenity badges in the house for guest usage, including free access to the beach and pools! Three badges are specific for renters, we would suggest at least one of those badges accompany you to every amenity, especially if planning on visiting the Clubhouse or Tiki Bar! All badges must be returned and put back in the home upon checkout. If any badges are missing or lost, a $50 replacement fee for each card will be the responsibility of the primary renter.
There is registration required at least three days prior to arrival for access to the community. Primary renter must be minimum 25 years of age. No parties or groups. No unrelated occupants up to 3 persons allowed per association rules. Community Rules and Regulations provided. The community's rules and regulations specify that this home is approved for up to 4 cars during any stay. Each driver would need to show their driver's license and vehicle registration at the time of check in at the security gate to obtain a dated gate pass.
Should you wish to have a day guest during your visit, we can allow one additional car per day. Please keep in mind that this pass is valid for the day only, and overnight stays for day guests are not permitted. We would need to be informed at least 24 hours in advance of their arrival. This allows us to arrange a day pass for them.
There is one dedicated area for trash removal. Renters are responsible to bring all trash and recycling to the trash facility. Location and hours posted at the house. Please check for holiday hours.
PLEASE NOTE: Amenities can be closed at the discretion of The Hideout Association or due to weather. This is not within our control and we will not offer refunds or discounts for any closure of any amenity during reservation; including community owned lakes.
Please be respectful of the property and neighbors. The Community has its own Public Safety that will enforce speed limits, disturbances and any other violations to the rules. Check the website at hideoutassoc.com for more information about amenities, and rules and regulations. Primary renter will be responsible for any charges for violations during your stay.
