Impressionnant 7 chambres spacieuses maison au bord du lac 2 cuisines complètes, 3 salles de bain complètes, salle familiale avec magnétoscope, DVD, chaîne stéréo et HDTV à écran plat avec chaînes thématiques par câble. 2 cheminées. Sun chambre, 2. 5 acres de terrain boisé sur le lac de Natalie dans le premier Big Bass Lake Community dans le cœur de la Pocono. Communauté a toutes les commodités: piscine couverte chauffée, piscine extérieure de taille olympique, Télésiège, courts de tennis et de basket, des sentiers de randonnée, et de grands terrains de golf et les zones de ski à proximité. Nombreuses places de parking le long avec beaucoup de boutiques et de restaurants. Cette maison a tout et est une destination de retraite vacances / week-end parfait toute l'année. Internet sans fil.

This was such a great weekend getaway!! This house was just what we needed, peaceful, relaxing and time to connect with our family. Couldn't say enough about the house also, there was plenty of room for my family and the kids got to hang out on the lower level while the adult chatted upstairs. We will be coming back for sure!

Very relaxing vacation. Fishing great! Fun on the lake. Unfortunately it was a very hot week but we made out and the huge exhaust fan help a lot with the heat. Plus tons of fans.

Very Nice Mountain House on the lake

We loved our family stay. The house was private, very clean, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table. The view of the frozen lake was beautiful. The kitchen was very well stocked. We highly recommend this mountain rental.

Pleasant Stay

We were multiple families with four children under 3 sharing a vacation and this home was perfect! The entire booking process and communication with the host was timely and easy. The home itself is beautiful and we can’t wait to return.

Yearly family fun vacation.

Our family of 10 people and 2 dogs had a great time staying in this house.there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms and a well supplied kitchen. The kids were in the lake every day. The only problem we had was too many steps. My husband and daughter in law. are disabled.

Our Family Reunion

Patrick was amazing! He was always answering any questions I had. The house was beautiful and perfect. Plenty of things to do just in and around the house. There were tons up board games, and we played a lot of ping pong. The weather was a little chilly out (especially for August) but we still were able to enjoy the lake and get in the kayaks while we were there.

Great quite place for a weekend getaway

Other then having to check in and throw your trash away at another location, everything else was perfect. House was clean and spacious. It rained all weekend but we still had a great time.

Lakeside Retreat

House is spacious and perfect for large family gathering. While this property has an extraordinarily long list of rules and potential fines, do not let that scare you away. Once we settled in, we had a totally relaxing time. Lake is beautiful, location is just right.

Pocono Family Vacation

We have stayed in several Pocono Houses since 1996 and this was the best one. Large home everyone could spread out or be together. Huge lake front and yard, if was great for our dogs. Far enough off the main road so it was quiet. We had such a good time we have already booked it for 2024.

Great location

Our group of 8 golfers stayed on Friday and Saturday, and although we spent most of our time golfing, we enjoyed the comfort of the house, especially the view. We had a couple issues with the television remote, but Patrick returned my call immediately, and everything was good.

A gem of a location

This house is a great deal -- reasonably priced, especially for the enormous amount of space available. We had two families with kids ranging in age from 2-15 and had plenty of space to be together and to be apart when necessary. The lakefront location could not be better, and having the community assets accessible as well was a huge bonus. The house is well-loved and in some ways could use some renovation. But it's EXTREMELY comfortable and cozy, and as a group traveling with kids, it was a relief to not feel like we were in danger of breaking something at any moment. The homeowner could not be better to deal with. We had some issues along our stay (caused by the weather) and he was responsive, kind, and helpful. Would return in a heartbeat. We loved it.

Lakeside location can’t be beat, be prepared to bring your own supplies

There were ups and downs to our stay. This property had lovely perks - the lakeside location is absolutely the best part. Kayaks are provided so it’s incredibly convenient to spend as much time in the lake as you like. The other big perk is the size of the house - there are so many bedrooms and bathrooms to comfortably house a big group of adults and a dog. It was great that the house had two levels so we had lots of space. The kitchen was also well-stocked with tools. However, we were left wanting about the cleanliness of the house. Elements of the bedrooms, such as the mattresses and blankets, could have been cleaner. Also, guests should expect to buy/bring all supplies they’ll need for their stay - in addition to linens, things like toilet paper and paper towels aren’t provided. Another note that the upper level of the house can get very stuffy and warm, so make note for hotter months. Box fans are provided.

Read before you book!

I want to preface this by saying that I have never before written a negative review about a property. This review would actually have received more stars, had it not been for the response of the owner Patrick when we brought up our concerns. He basically accused us of lying. We paid over $2000 for 4 nights. It was not worth it. We did not expect a 5 star hotel, but we expected more and I'm very surprised by how many great reviews there are for this property. The master bedroom had an extremely strong smell of asparagus and urine. Patrick did offer to have his cleaning crew come and investigate but we had two dogs with us and wanted to enjoy our time without being disturbed. We opened the balcony and the smell went away, but then came back. When it became too strong to bear we traced the smell to the cleaning supply closet. However we opened the "closet" and it was actually a BATHROOM. The toilet had standing water in it which was definitely the source of the smell. Patrick claims that there was not a trace of a smell when he went to look at the house. There is no way this is true. I have photos of this "closet" which I will be sending to VRBO. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds any of us have ever slept on. There were cobwebs literally everywhere. The rugs in the bathrooms and in the kitchen look like they have never been washed. The furniture and pillows are covered in stains. The entire downstairs smells like mildew. There is nowhere to store trash. If you put your trash outside and get caught, you get fined. The kitchen is falling apart and the water in the sink takes an incredibly long to drain. Barely any of the locks work (including in any of the bathrooms). A landscaping crew randomly showed up to cut grass. It would have been fine if we were given warning but it was definitely not fun being sprayed by tiny rocks from the mowers while being outside. Lastly, the porch light and the flood light does not work, so those that came at night had to unpack their cars in the dark. We did not want to post this review and decided to reach out directly to Patrick to voice our concerns. We thought that Patrick simply might have not known about the issues in the house. His defensive responses and accusations, as well as previous reviews, definitely make it seem like he did. We do not want to hurt Patrick's wallet or reputation with this review, we are simply sharing our experience, which was the worst rental experience we have ever had.

The only issue we had was locating the security hut to get parking tags. In the future I think you should provide the address for the Security hut. The instructions made it seem as if we would have to pass the hut in order to reach the house, that was not the case as the house is on the main road. We were only able to find it after consulting the map on the fridge inside the house. Security

All the sleeping beds need to change. Mattress is not in good shape. Whole house need to be pesticide because we got bitten by something in sofas and beds. Otherwise the location and layout of the house is good.

It was a wonderful surprise that linens were provided. Sheets and towels weren’t mentioned anywhere in the listing. The kids really enjoyed ping pong, and the kayaking experience was great.

Beautiful house

Almost last minute we were able to find this beautiful home for Memorial Day weekend. We were a family of 12 with kids ages 8 & up and they absolutely had fun outside with enough space to run around. The adults enjoyed a good Bbq and watch the beautiful lake scene. The house was clean in a perfect location.

Great Weekend with Old Friends

Spend a long weekend with 7 high school and college friends. This place worked out perfectly in terms of being a decent middle location for the group. The place was clean and very functional for our large group, having seven bedrooms so each of us had our own room to sleep in. The house is located with a beautiful lakefront view. There are two nice sized living areas, one upstairs and one downstairs (and while the spaces mimic each other, the downstairs one is larger as it has a smaller kitchen) and the downstairs area includes a ping pong table which we enjoyed. The furniture and the wall coverings are a bit dated, but we did not really care. The host provided the basics only - bed linens, towels and basic kitchen tools and appliances. The only think that was bit of a concern was that we you to check in at a security hut and get a hang tag for your mirror, even though this house not in the gated community. It turned out only being a slight inconvenience upon arrival for everyone and the process went smoothly. We would definitely consider staying here again if our group continues to gather. The one drawback to this place if we chose to get together in a warmer month, they do not allow any outside fires or firepits. Being that it was cold and February and snow covered, that wasn't a deal breaker for us, but it will be if we decided to do this in May-October.
