Welcome to the Cottage on Cottage! You will love the vibe at this vintage house built in the twenties decorated in the speakeasy style of the time long passed. Glamorous Style combined with all of the amenities that you will need for a fantastic stay! Only blocks from downtown Salem and the Waterfront Park area. Blocks to all the State offices and near Salem hospital. One queen bedroom sleeps two. It even has a secret little reading nook. second bedroom has a full and 2 twins.

This property has been decorated to the nines! Velvet couch, plush rug, fantastic light fixtures, and attention to detail. All of the items you would need for mixing drinks are available on the bar cart, you just provide the alcohol! Beautiful new kitchen with everything you need to cook your meals during your stay. A full size fridge, gas stove, and dishwasher. Your own laundry room for your convenience. parking in front with provided permits or outside the back gate. Hangout in the backyard complete with Cafe lights and fire pit with chairs or a table and chairs for dining outside.

Entire upstairs 2 floors is a separate, self contained unit. The front yard is open to the next door neighbors yard. The backyard is a shared space with the basement unit.

We had a great stay. Place is fun. Older home,(you’re not sneaking down any stairs for early coffee without the he house hearing), but great price, centrally located to many spots in both Salem and Keizer. I wish the nearby creek was cleaner, but we went to a swimming place not too far away that was a blast. Also: this is a home with a tenant living below that we were unaware about prior that was a surprise. Nice but were were unaware prior.

Great little house for a girl’s weekend. Comfortable rooms and access to Netflix. Didn’t cook or use the kitchen, but seemed to be well stocked. I would definitely recommend!

What an amazing area and home full of great bones and character. If you’re looking for a place that truly captures the essence of Oregon, this is it. A huge bonus is waking up to the sound of Mill creek right beside you—and being able to enjoy the view from the upstairs bedroom. The host was excellent with communication and made us feel welcome from the start, including a thoughtful basket of goodies. The amenities had everything we could have asked for.Great neighbors that made you feel safe.

We had a splendid time here. We arrived on Christmas evening to a lighted Christmas tree, stockings and lights on the mantel and a welcome basket full of goodies on the table. The decor was unique and enchanting. The kitchen had plenty of room for multiple people to cook. The living room was comfortable and worked well for visiting with friends. The beds were comfortable. Overall, this was a lovely place to stay and we will stay there again next time we are up that way.

It was fantastic, my family loved it. It was really like our own home. Pots pans and everything we could have needed. Real nice neighborhood, went for many morning walks. A great place to stay

Gorgeous house in a cute neighborhood! Plus, it's just a short walk to the state capitol and Saturday market. Only a little drive away, the downtown area has some cool stores to check out like vintage thrifts shops. The aesthetic and coziness of the house was practically unbeatable. My friends and I made a ton of great memories just chatting around the living room and playing board/card games. We all loved this place, it's perfect for a chill vacation!

The interior decoration and all the amenities are wonderful. The living room was comfortable with plenty of seating. There was a powder room on the first floor which was nice since the full bathroom and bedrooms are on the second floor. The one bedroom had a small closet and a dresser but the large bedroom had a large closet but no dresser. If I’m staying for more than a day or two I don’t like to live out of a suitcase so a small dresser in the closet would be an improvement. The kitchen is fully stocked including coffee and a few spices. There is a small creek running alongside the property so you can hear the sound. Lovely. It is a 5-7 block walk into the heart of town and the Capital. We had a lovely dinners at Encore, The Cozy Taberna and Jade Dumpling and Noodle House.

Excellent place to stay.

Took a coastal road trip with my sister. We hit all the good hikes! Booked this place as a central place to stay and loved it! We needed to come in a day early and she was very quick to respond to our request and accommodate. The only thing that threw off the trip was the road construction in front of the house and the spider webs that were waiting every morning at the entrance. We placed the broom by the front and knocked them down daily. None of this could that the owner control so still rated as excellent!

This was a cute little 2-bedroom. Very clean. Beds were comfortable. Communication with host was amazing. Loved listening to the creek right outside. It does have it little quirks, the stair case is very creeky, but it gives it character. It was close to the car show that we were attending, close to Safeway, and convience stores. The only issue was the main bathroom drain was a little slow to drain. Definitely would rent this place again next year when we come out.

VRBO has technical issues, that made getting our door code challenging. No communication with host. Mostly not an issue. But once inside the house was lovely! Beds were comfy. As the cook, I will say the kitchen is magnificent! Location is grand for visiting Salem and surrounding areas. Strong wifi as all 5 of us used our devices for entertainment. Very happy with the stay.
