We had such a lovely stay at Christinaâs house in Salem. Very comfortable accommodations for our family of four and a perfect location for our first visit to the Willamette Valley. Christina was also clear and quick with her communications and so gracious when we asked to extend our stay. Highly recommend!
The home is very clean, cozy and comfortable! The old wood floors, just shine. I really enjoyed the spacious bathroom! Very quiet, makes sleep restful. The outside is loaded with beautiful plants, flowers and trees.Enjoyed our stay!!
Absolutely charming, beautiful, bright and cheery. It was everything we hoped for and more. Christina and Pepe were perfect hosts, welcoming and available but not intrusive. The home is spacious, especially the kitchen, and we enjoyed relaxing in the plush living area and dining room. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends.
Our whole party really enjoyed our stay at this little farmhouse. It is absolutely charming. The hosts are very gracious and personable. When they found out we would be attending an outdoor event and that it might rain, they left a bag full of old towels and a tarp for our use, in addition to letting is know good places we could get raingear and/or panchos. We loved our stay here and can highly recommend this to others without any reservations. Loved it. Thank you for helping to make our trip something we look back on with such joy in our hearts.
This was a great home base for us to use while visiting family in SE Salem. There was plenty of space for us to hang out and eat at home, being able to do laundry was an added plus so we could go home with clean clothes! The two bedrooms were big enough for us to be able to set-up a pack & play for the baby and a travel bed for our toddler so that we could manage two different nap schedules. There is also storage space in the mudroom and basement that were great for storing suitcases & travel gear out of the way. Christina and her family were great hosts, they even loaned us some swim towels for our kids to do some water activities and let our toddler feed their chickens, which he LOVED. We had a great stay and are already planning for our next visit!
Cute 1930âs home that has a great charm about it. The home is very close to grocery stores, gas, and restaurants. The house is very roomy. The kitchen is nice and large with plenty of equipment to cook meals. The backyard is shared with the owners who are very friendly. We slept very well on the bed and the couch is very napable. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Christina makes check in smooth. She is very responsive to any questions or concerns (with that being said, we have stayed here twice and never had a concern she had to address) The house is lovely, homey and perfectly located. Bedâs are comfy and sleep is good. The kitchen could have more supplies like plastic wrap, cookware, a few more spatulas for the teflon pans. We noticed this only because we love to cook. Overall this is a perfect place!
Great location, clean comfy and perfectly equipped home. We had everything we needed and a few things we didn't know we needed like a gas fire pit and a great outdoor space. Both Christine and Pepe were great hosts and we would definitely stay again.
The house was cozy & comfy. I loved the creakiness of all the floors. The stairs to the laundry are a bit dangerous. The address was A bit hard to actually find due to map quest saying we arrived...in the middle of the road not even close to where the address was. But after a day we found it every time. We would stay here again. Very close to lots of thing.
We loved our stay here! The location was great for visiting the Willamette campus and downtown Salem. The property was clean, cozy and very welcoming! Cristina was a wonderful host, and we felt extremely comfortable, especially enjoying the sunshine out on the beautiful back patio! Would absolutely recommend this property!
Me, my children and siblings were in search of a place to stay while visiting family. This was the perfect spot. We were impressed with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the house upon arrival. It was kid and family friendly. We will definitely stay again for future visit.
We stayed 4 nights at this house, which is located in south Salem. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is very large and well stocked. The bathroom is good size, although the bathtub is well worn. The bedrooms are at separate ends of the house, which is good if you want separation from family members sleeping in different bedrooms. The property has a very nice backyard with a seating area that we took advantage of. There is of-street dedicated parking. The only problem with the location is that it is located on a very busy street, so entering the driveway is a bit challenging. Also, there is a lot of street noise, although the bedroom we slept in was quiet and we had no problem sleeping.
Property was as described. Nicely appointed. Conveniently located. It was rainy, so we didn't get to enjoy the back patio. Host lives on property and was attentive without being obtrusive.
Christina was very welcoming. The farmhouse is very cute and well maintained and had everything we needed. It was very clean and warm. The location in Salem was very convenient to the places we wanted to visit. We would definitely stay again in the future.
This was our second time to stay here and it was just as great as the first time. The home is beautiful and has everything you need. It's in a great location. Christina is very easy to work with.
I have stayed at many rentals and Christina has by far been the most welcoming, helpful, and attentive host. I stayed for two weeks to recover from surgery, and she went above and beyond for make sure I was comfortable and that the home was accommodating for my recovery. I highly recommend this home and this hostess, sheâs just the best.
This two bedroom house felt roomy and truly had everything inside you could possibly need. It was clean and cozy, and we knew the owners were close by should we need anything, but we did not. It is located on a VERY busy and often times noisy street, which meant it was difficult to get in and out of the driveway at various times throughout our stay. And if we left the windows open, we could definitely hear the busy traffic on the main street. That said, we would probably stay there again if the occasion arose and that is a testament to the house itself.
We really enjoyed staying at the Farmhouse. Close to the WU campus and downtown. Off street parking right next to the House was appreciated. The Farmhouse has the old 1930's charm with all the modern conveniences. I love the old floors and door frames. Kitchen is fully equipped and has a really nice gas stove/oven. Right off of 12th St. but tucked back in so you don't notice any traffic. Best place I've ever stayed in Salem! I hope to stay in the Farmhouse again!
This house was perfect for our quick trip to Oregon. Christina was very friendly ahead of time and stopped by to introduce herself during our visit. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable. Most importantly, it was in a great location, allowing us to visit the coast, Silver Falls State Park and Multnomah Falls with easy drives. Thanks!
We can see why the owners limit the stay to 2 weeks, otherwise we'd never want to leave. We were impressed with the engaging and wonderful hosts! Thoughtful and generous attention to childproofing preparations made it possible for us to relax and enjoy our holiday from the moment we arrived in one of the nicest places we've experienced. The farmhouse is a quality home in a comfortable neighbourhood.
Check-in wat fast and easy. The owner was very helpful and the house was beautiful! Everything we could have wanted! We will definitely stay here again!
We had a great stay with Christina. super helpful especially when we couldn't figure out how to get on the wifi the first night. Also helpful with local restaurant recommendations.
