Drift-Away Escape is the peaceful Upper Peninsula getaway you've been looking for!

This spacious home has been recently renovated and beautifully decorated, and sits on a quiet street in the Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort community. Need a friends getaway? A peaceful romantic retreat? A place for the kids and the whole family to gather? Drift-Away will be the perfect place to enjoy stylish and modern amenities in a natural, tranquil setting. Pets are welcome too!

Enjoy the slower pace and sip your morning coffee on the patio while you keep an eye out for abundant local bird species and other wildlife. Whip up some breakfast in the fully stocked kitchen and get ready for your big day of adventures! If you've escaped to Drift-Away for some remote work, you'll appreciate the fast WiFi.

After a big day you'll look forward to grilling out, perhaps a lucky show of the gorgeous Northern Lights, cozying up to watch a movie on one of the two smart TV's and a good nights sleep in the most comfy beds ever!

With three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a ground floor patio and a second floor balcony - you'll have plenty of room to spread out. We sleep nine and there is plenty of parking.

Close to skiing but not walking

Nice rooms with updated furniture. Only improvement would be handles on the bathroom vanities, better water pressure in the showers and floor molding at the entry to the living room and kitchen be thinner so you don't stub your feet. Nice big tv and appliances! Probably 4 blocks to ski hill.

Awesome and easy with last minute arrangements

Decided at the last minute to come up for a 3 days of skiing with my 2 sons. Booked on a Monday and arrived Tuesday. Check-in was super simple. Close to the hill so we could wake up in the morning, roll out of bed and hit the slopes. The house was clean and had everything we needed for a great trip. Kitchen applinces were close to new. Thank you so much

Perfect spot for Big Powderhorn skiing!

We had a fantastic 5 night stay at this lovely condo. Amanda was an incredibly accommodating hostess, communicating regularly and super responsive. Our family of 4 skied at Big Powderhorn for 3 days and really enjoyed the proximity of this place. Highly recommend for other families/travelers!

I grew up in the south, and have since traveled extensively around the world. Some of my most memorable trips were to the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan to support rocket launches! This property location in the UP is one of the hidden gems of the United States, I feel very fortunate to have found it and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Drift-Away Escape was remodeled and furnished with a chic style that is uncommon in this area of the UP. We decided that when we seek the tranquility that this area offers, we want to feel a little bit pampered too! We hope you will enjoy all the special touches we designed just for you!
