This charming 2-bedroom house is the perfect base for your Ironwood getaway. With comfortable accommodations for up to 4 guests, including a Cal King bed, a cozy Queen bed, and a relaxing LoveSac sofa with double chaise loungers in the living room, you'll have plenty of space to unwind after a day of exploring. The house is equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including heating, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a washer and dryer, and a prime location. The fully equipped eat-in kitchen features quartz countertops, a gas range, a Keurig coffeemaker (and a standard coffeemaker), a microwave, and a dishwasher, making it easy to prepare meals at home. The bathroom is stocked with towels, soap, a hair dryer, and even a bidet for your convenience. Experience the magic of Ironwood from the comfort of this cozy house.

Home was perfect for our weekend stay! It was cozy and comfortable, had everything we needed. Great communication from the host, she checked in to make sure all was well. Would definitely stay here again!

Mini Getaway

We love going to Michigan and this was our 2nd stay here! We love this property; it’s cleaner than home(!), love the sauna and the quiet neighborhood, and love exploring the area. We took a beautiful trip to Copper Harbor. Will definitely stay again!

Cutest House Ever

We were happily surprised at how stunning this home was. It looks like it belongs on HGTV. Loved the sauna and the front porch where we had coffee every morning. The house was immaculate and had everthing you needed. The owner was quick to communicate if we had questions and very friendly. We definitely will stay there again and highly recommend it.

Great place for a home base in Ironwood area

Dad’s Garage exceeded expectations. Located on a quiet street that was midway between downtown Ironwood and all the businesses along US 2. The sauna was a very nice bonus. Great kitchen with everything we needed to cook some yummy breakfasts. Very comfortable sofa and bed. This will be our go to place for return visits.

We took a three day stay at Dad's Garage at the end of an extensive trip in the west. It was a great way to settle down after many days of driving. We really enjoyed the house and were very happy with all of the amenities. We did our own cooking and found everything that we needed to do that. We needed rest and the beds were great. We needed to do some laundry and the washer and dryer were great. Something extra was needed and the sauna fit the bill for me. The location was great. Ironwood is a cool town and we were able to get to Copper Peak (the ski jump) and take a day to go up the Keweenaw Penisula. I hope we get the opporunity to go back sometime and stay again.

Great place

This is a really nice place. The sauna is spa quality. It was perfect after skiing. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. The kitchen was amazing. The host was terrific.

Perfect Place

I had a great stay this winter, so I came back to bike. The house is close to both paved trails and mountain bike trails. It is also easy to bike around town. The house is beautiful. It has a modern kitchen and nice living room. The bed is huge, but my favorite part of the house is the sauna. Great place!

Anniversary is the UP

We just wanted a short get away for our anniversary. Ended up traveling all the way up the shore to Eagle River and Copper Habor for the day stopping to check out the lakes and rivers as we went. After all day in the car we relaxed in the sauna and went out for dinner. Perfect and peaceful!

Long weekend snowmobile trip

My wife and I stayed here and enjoyed the sled trails and all the other fun things to do in the area. Cozy house that has been updated perfectly with all the modern day creature comforts most would be looking for. Sauna was great but could be warmer. Would stay here again!

Dad’s garage was the perfect home base for a few days Nordic skiing at ABR! The sauna was great to come back to each evening! The house was simple and modern and had everything we needed to be comfortable

Ski Trip

Highly recommend, very clean and all amenities in kitchen & bathroom. Attentive owner, very responsive, great location for enjoying the area. Sauna a nice perk. WiFi great. Able to make gourmet meals with supplied kitchen pans & utensils. If you enjoy the western UP this is a great place to stay, strongly recommend.

Birthday Weekend Getaway!

We love visiting Gogebic County. This was the cutest house - modern, clean, new, inviting! We loved the porch and sauna along with the party lights outside! Check-in was simple! No issues whatsoever. Would stay again!
