Condo Ski Lodge en face de Big Powderhorn, prĂšs de Copper Peak, Black River Harbour

Condo Powdermill Resort en face de la station de ski Big Powderhorn Mountain et Ă  quelques minutes de Black River Harbor, Copper Peak, Blackjack et Indianhead Big Snow Resorts.

Il s'agit d'un condo de deux étages au dernier étage donnant sur une belle région boisée au-dessus du ruisseau Powdermill, juste au nord de Powdermill Falls. Le condo a été entiÚrement rénové en 2019 avec une nouvelle cuisine, salle de bain, tapis, luminaires et plus encore.

La cuisine a un rĂ©frigĂ©rateur avec congĂ©lateur assez grand pour vos provisions et peut-ĂȘtre la prise du jour, une cuisiniĂšre / four Ă©lectrique, un micro-ondes et une cafetiĂšre. La cuisine est remplie d'assiettes, de bols, d'ustensiles, de casseroles, de poĂȘles et plus encore.

La salle de bain complĂšte dispose d'une douche avec tĂȘte rĂ©glable, baignoire, toilettes et vanitĂ©. La salle de bain est Ă©quipĂ©e d'un service de linge, y compris des serviettes et des gants de toilette.

Le salon comprend une table de salle Ă  manger en chĂȘne massif, avec 4 chaises (une 5Ăšme est dans le placard que vous pouvez utiliser), un canapĂ©-lit gigogne et une tĂ©lĂ©vision connectĂ©e LED avec cĂąble. Le placard a Ă©galement un lit et des draps.

La suite principale comprend un lit queen-size, un poste de travail, une vanité et un rangement supplémentaire. Notez qu'il y a des escaliers dans l'unité. Pas d'ascenseur sur place.

C'est la propriété parfaite toute l'année pour vos besoins d'entreprise, de construction ou de loisirs.

Like other reviews mention, don't be put off by the building exterior or common areas of the property. The unit was perfect. The loft did get very warm but opening the windows at night helped greatly. This was a very affordable and comfortable rental in a really great location. We would definitely stay again!

If you stay in this unit you will not be disappointed. Do not let the outside or “lobby” area be your judgment. Our condo was very nice and very clean. I can’t say what any of the rest are as they are owned by different owners. It is quiet and we even had a little fire in the little fire pit provided. It is a bit off the main highway but we were fine with that.

Great stay!

This is the 2nd time i've stayed here and it was great each time. Minutes from everything i was in town to do. Comfortable lodging, easy access, and very quiet. I would stay here again!

Love the old Bavarian-style building. Can see that it's past its prime, but well maintained. Clean and affordable, and close to three ski areas.

The property was clean and orderly with all amenities listed available. It is directly across from Big Powderhorn Mountain and it was a short easy walk to the hills!

Good find in the category/price range

I was quite satisfied with this property for a short Ironwood area ski trip. As others have mentioned, there is some initial awkwardness with the entry and hallways but the actual unit is well-appointed, the pictures and description were accurate. Greatly enjoyed having a small kitchen and a separate sleeping area compared to a standard hotel layout when considering lodging options in the area for a similar size and price range. Property is easy to find on a well-maintained road - which I came to appreciate given the frequency of snow and sometimes poor cell reception in the area.

Close to Big Powderhorn

This condo was nice and cozy. As per other reviews, the grounds are a little interesting, but inside the condo it's nice and was a good home base for Big Powderhorn and the vicinity.

Great place across the street from Big Powderhorn

Owner was very responsive. I just needed a place to eat and sleep and this worked very well. I had a great stay and slept well. No noise. That's the way I like it.

Affordable and close enough to town

We had a pleasant stay. It's location made it is easy to go into town or over to the beach! The accommodations were clean and tidy! My only complaint would be all the stairs (I have bad knees) and didn't see an elevator. And also the fact that we couldn't bring the dog. Unless each apartment/room is privately owned, there were 3 dogs there and a a cat sitting in a window. We do thank you above all else for a pleasant stay! Teresa K.

Clean and affordable

The one thing was bad about this property was the lack of cell phone service. I had zero bars of service unless the phone was sitting in the window sill downstairs.

Difficulty finding:No property name given to us, no address out front, only a HORRIBLY run down outside structure and premise that didn’t look like picture in advertisement. Entry: Dirty, far from welcoming, locked gates across what should have been commons areas. No security to building, multiple areas for intruders to lurk. Room: Opening door to unit was like entering a sauna. No way to control heat (noted as problem in comments written in book in unit in 2021). Ran air conditioner 24/7 and had windows open,just to be able to breath. Couldn’t sleep in loft bed, due to heat, so forced to sleep on poor quality hide-a-bed. Sat on dining room chair and glue joints separated almost causing a fall. Lighting: Poor lighting preventing any reading by couch or playing any games. We would not recommend this place to anyone. Booking through Expedia, we thought we would get a place with some quality. This place should be reviewed if you plan on keeping on your listing.

We visited my son a few miles away from the condo, so it was perfect! Went to lake superior and hung out had great food at local restaurants! We also visited some other sites on our way there and back, so we know our great granddaughters had a great time!!

Perfect for a small family ski getaway!

The property was exactly as described and was a great deal. The location was perfect for skiing at Big Powderhorn and Snowriver resorts. We loved that the condo it was dog-friendly, had a fun local vibe, and had cozy decor. We had a great time watching movies and playing games in the evenings. We also used the kitchen quite bit and were able to make several meals without needing to go out. Would stay here again!

Ski getaway

This cozy, budget-friendly condo in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula is an excellent choice for skiers and winter enthusiasts looking for a simple, no-frills place to stay. It’s just a short drive from Big Powderhorn Mountain, making it incredibly convenient for skiing and snowboarding. The surrounding area is stunning in the winter, with picturesque snow-covered landscapes that added to the charm of our stay. The building itself is a bit dated and shows signs of wear, but our unit was in good condition and felt cozy. For the price, the value was outstanding—it’s hard to find affordable accommodations so close to a major ski area. If you’re looking for a no-nonsense, budget-friendly place to stay that prioritizes location and practicality over luxury, this condo is a fantastic option. We’d happily return for future ski trips!

Bessemer ski lodge

The unit was nice and as appeared in the listing. The unit was clean and well appointed. It worked out very well for our impromptu ski weekend. If i could suggest an area of improvement it would be the matress in the loft. It was very uncomfortable.

I enjoy creating an “up north” experience for guests and recognize the importance of providing the best possible experience we can at a fair price. While it can be stressful managing the properties from so far away, I am complimented by a wonderful local housekeeper, Amanda, who helps out anyway she can.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

This is a fun "up north" condo across from the Big Powderhorn Ski Resort. It's in a unique building where each condo is owned by individual owners who have updated them differently. This condo sleeps 4 comfortably and has an Army cot for a 5th if you'd like to use it. The kitchen has everything you need to make a meal and if we don't have a specific utensil, just let me know and we can provide it to you.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

All of my properties have the following on the wall - maybe you can spot them: A deer bottle Opener, a crossed pair of snowshoes, something antique/about the area.
