Close to beach, 2 min walk place was clean and updated, all the essentials and then some. So close to all the gulf shores bucket lists. Shrimp festival was so fun, also lots of good restaurants, highly recommend bobs, for price proximity and scrumptious seafood!Host was super!

Great location

Amazing location! I’m so glad I found this gem for a quick getaway. Owner responded quickly to any messages. Beds were super comfortable and we hated having to leave!

Great Getaway

The property was great. It was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. Additionally, it is in is good location. You can easily walk to the beach, to the pool and to nearby restaurants. We will definitely stay there again!

I totally enjoyed my stay here. The swing on the deck was amazing. I spent mornings and evenings on the swing and took a couple of naps there. The bed was comfy and I had everything I needed for the weekend. The little coffee shop above the convenience store across the street was a sweet treat. The unit is the first in the complex so there was some traffic noise, but I slept like a baby and didn't really notice. The walk to the beach was quick and I was able to watch the sun rise as a bonus. The swing itself is reason to plan another trip here.

Will definitely rent from again

The huge swing on the porch was amazing. We did our devotional in the morning out there and then relaxed and talked at night in the same spot. The walk to the beach is the shortest I have ever stayed at. The parking very close to the front door is awesome. Short distance to all our favorite places to eat. Super pleased!!

A Must Stay!

The Swing by the Sea is the perfect place to take your family for a beach getaway. The location, the close proximity to the beach, the beachy decor, the wonderful swing and beautifully decorated balcony with lots of other comfortable seating options, the extra comfy beds, even the bathrooms were gorgeous, and I could go on and on. Aside from all of that, our host Rich, was so personable and attentive. This place is nothing short of fabulous, a real gem! This was our first time visiting Gulf Shores (we usually stay in Pensacola). We will definitely be back and will undoubtedly stay at this property when we return.

Rich was always responsive, however the condo was not clean. Light fixtures were dirty. Counter tops had not been cleaned, cup stains were present. No vacuum for the sand. There was hair in the bed. Three outlets did not work, including the ones in both bathrooms. Vents were very dirty.

Thank you for your feedback. While I appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, I do feel that a 1-star review may be a bit extreme, especially considering I was always responsive and did my best to assist during your stay. I’d like to address a couple of the concerns you mentioned: Outlet issues: One of the outlets was functioning properly but is connected to a wall switch, which needs to be turned on for the lamp or device to receive power. Additionally, the outlet in the bathroom has already been repaired. Sometimes there are unfortunate events out of our control but an outlet that's not working shouldn't be a huge hinderance to your stay. Cleanliness: I’m truly sorry if the cleaning did not meet expectations. That’s something I take seriously, and I’ve addressed your comments with the cleaning team to ensure this doesn’t happen again. Vacuum: There is one on the property located in the pantry. Vents and light fixtures: I’ve scheduled a deep clean to handle those specific areas. That said, I’d also kindly ask you to consider the price point of your stay. This beach side property is not positioned as a luxury resort like the Ritz-Carlton, but we do strive to provide a clean, comfortable, and well-located space at a fair value. Again, your feedback is appreciated but I do not agree with a 1-star rating which we have never seen from any previous guest.
