Beautiful resort. Our stay was great except couldn't lock the door and couldn't us the local channels on the TV, also construction in the front lobby the whole time we were there, also construction outside the resort so couldn't get to the walk along the river without going on the busy street and around another resorts parking lot.The people living or staying there were very friendly.
Everything was ok, but only being able to communicate with the app sucks. I have an older phone and I canât even log onto VRBO. The check is info needs to be an actual email or a text. Not everyone is into apps.
Went to Lake Havasu for the Balloon Festival and the Queens Bay Condo was the perfect place to see the Bridge and Balloon Festival from the balcony, Easy walk to the Bridge and shops, Wonderful views, comfortable and modern condo and great time,Jack and Paula D, Prescott, AZ
The condo at Queenâs Bay Resort. Walking distance to London Bridge, restaurants, fast food and gas stations. Private gated parking with plenty of room for boats. The condo was beautiful, very well maintained, and fully stocked. The AC worked great and kept up with the 115 degree heat. The owner was responsive and really wanted to make sure we knew that he was a happy to accommodate us any way he could. 10 out of 10. Weâll be back next year!
I will try to be brief because I want anyone considering this property to read this fully. I never complain about properties and I am always willing to overlook mistakes when efforts are made to right wrongs. Unfortunately, our stay here was terrible! Upon arrival the property hadnât been cleaned. Beds had been slept in and were unmade, dirty towels on the floor, urine on the toilet etc. This trip was for my wifeâs birthday and mothers day. We spent the first two hours doing laundry so we had clean towels and bedding and cleaning the condo. I attempted to communicate with the owner to no avail. It was only after reporting this to VRBO that Curt called me. He did offer to have the cleaner come, but at that point we had already done everything. He had a very lackadaisical attitude about the whole incident and only agreed to refund the cleaning fee after I expressed more frustration. Also when we arrived it was 88 degrees inside the condo. We turned the thermostat down and just assumed it would cool downâŠ. It didnât. It remained hot in the condo most of the night but by morning had cooled down. We assumed that now that it was cool, we would be fine. We spent the day on the lake and came back that afternoon to find it was 85 degrees inside. I attempted to call and text Curt the owner and he ignored me until the next morning. It was still 77 degrees inside when we went to bed. By morning it had cooled again and Curt then texted me with a condescending text telling me that it was
The email we received as our "Keys to the condo" wouldn't open so we had to get VRBO customer service on the phone. They were great and sent us a new email with the info we needed. Then the code didn't work for the door so we had to call customer service again, he got the owners on the phone with me and they fixed the code. Everything after that was wonderful. An absolutely gorgeous condo!!
