I am originally from the area and we wanted a peaceful weekend on the lake. We couldn’t have asked for more with this place! The house is amazing! Even with the chilly weather we were able to use the fire table and enjoy time outside. There is a ton of space AND bathrooms which is usually hard to find. We will definitely be bringing a group back so they can also enjoy this lovely space. The service responses were also quick and friendly. I’ve never rented through AvantStay before but each text inquiry was responded with immediately and when I had to call we were able to talk to an actual person without having to jump through automated hoops. Highly recommend!

Property was as it was listed. We enjoy the lake with the kayaks but the canoe had a crack and leak that we couldn’t use Beautiful view of the lake and very quiet community.

This is a beautiful house, extraordinarily clean, with gorgeous views of the lake. We very much enjoyed our stay. If I was in the area, I would stay here again.

Beautiful location. The home could have been cleaner. Primary shower door had hard water stains and black mold. Lots of cob webs around. Also a significant amount of wear and tear for a “newly built” home. Marks on the walls, damage to wall around kitchen island. The dehumidifier in the basement hadn’t been emptied so it was very musty.

We're glad the location delivered, but the home clearly wasn't at the standard we hold ourselves to, and for that we're sorry. Your notes on the shower, cobwebs, wall wear, and dehumidifier have all gone directly to our housekeeping and maintenance teams to make it right. The home was beautiful!! The location amazing!! We were in the area to race at Mohegan Sun Pocono..this fabulous property is close by to the farm where our horse stays while we are there to race. We will definitely stay agin when we come back to race!! Everything was so easy and the house is set up perfectly!! Everything is there that you need or could want!!

We had a wonderful three day weekend at this beautiful lake house. The view of the lake is spectacular. The property was beautiful inside and out. It was clean, updated and had everything we needed to fully enjoy our time away. We would definitely book this home again. This house is huge with three levels of rooms to explore. The bottom level walks out to the lake area. It was really a fantastic house for a family getaway. We loved it!

We had such a great weekend at Penn Lake! The house was absolutely beautiful, spotless, and so cozy from the moment we arrived. The lake views were peaceful and relaxing, and one of our favorite parts was taking the canoes out on the water, so much fun and such a perfect way to enjoy the scenery. Everything was well maintained and made our stay feel comfortable and stress-free. You can tell a lot of care goes into this home. We made amazing memories here and would definitely love to come back!

We had a great time! The house was beautiful, and very clean and comfortable. We made a nice dinner one of the evenings, and had everything we needed to prepare and cook the meal. Communication was easy and fast with the host. Check in and out went smoothly, and most of all, my husband enjoyed his birthday getaway.

New construction means really clean!!! It was so nice. Beautiful clear view! Great place. I'm very picky with rentals but this was a rare 10/10. Loved how it was decorated too!

This property was perfect. The location is easy access from the interstate. The neighbors are nice. The home is exactly as pictured. Communication from Avantstay was timely and professional. I gave them feedback on some kitchen items but other than that the home comes with everything you need, even beach towels. We were in the lake all day, every day. There were chairs on the lower lever so you could sit by the water. The kayaks and canoe were great. The lake is clear and perfect temperature for swimming (2nd week of August). There’s a public beach across the lake with a jumping platform which is where we killed time before checking in. Great property. Only thing missing would be making it pet friendly so we could bring our pup. Still, such a wonderful vacation!

A fantastic house on a beautiful lake. House is filled with amenities, comfortable and spacious. The lake is great for fishing, kayaking and canoeing, and swimming... with a white sandy beach just across the lake. Quiet and secluded area of the Poconos.

House was great! Right on the lake with a very nice backyard. Neighbors were nice as well and actually let us use some of their equipment!
