Property is great. It is well equipped and clean. Close to amenities ( within walking distance). The hot tub was a nice feature and was enjoyed. The arcade games and table tennis are great for the kids.

The home set up was perfect for 2 families and it was stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Communication from the host was great throughout the process of booking to checkout. We loved the game room, the hot tub, and the location. We would book again and highly recommend.

We stayed in mid october and didn’t take advantage of any of the community amenities, but we did walk to the lake which looks very nice. I think it would be great in the summer. Property was as advertised, very big and spacious. TV’s in almost every room and they were high quality. Billiard table was level, with a smooth roll and true bumpers. Arcade games worked well. Kitchen was well appointed and coffee with full pot or keurig cups was nice. The basement bathroom fan didn’t work, which didn’t bother me, but will become a moisture problem if it’s not addressed soon. Screen sliders need some work. Hot tub didn’t work and service guy called to investigate didn’t do anything. Major bummer as we looked forward to the hot tub after hiking and biking. Gas grill needs to be replaced. All the worry about cleaning a grill that should have been replaced years ago is a bit much.

A level billiard table with true bumpers is the mark of a guest who knows their stuff! Thank you for the detailed and fair rundown. The hot tub letdown after days on the trails is a real miss, and we've escalated it, along with the grill, bathroom fan, and sliders, to our maintenance team. We'd love to host a summer return with everything in top shape, lake days included.

Weekend getaway

The set up is perfect plenty of room in all the bedrooms, very cozy , kids loved the jacuzzi tub . Highly recommend and definitely plant to return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the outdoors .

The stay was great. Our hosts were very responsive throughout the process and the house was great. All of the amenities from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the outside were in great condition. Easy process for checking in and they had a booklet to explain everything around and about the house.The only thing missing was instructions on the surround sound system, but the HVAC and tv systems were flawless. Lots of entertainment options within the entertainment room to keep everyone busy and having fun. The community was quiet and most major attractions were within 30 minutes or less. Great trip and Great House!!

The hosts were very hospitable, super friendly and easy to communicate with! The hot tub with the fairy lights definitely set the mood for a relaxing weekend for my friends. The house felt like a home away from home for a good few days. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful, well-appointed vacation home!

We were extremely pleased with Mountain Mews vacation home! There were 11 of us, ranging in age from 3 - 67 and we had room to spread out when we wanted. Beautiful furniture, well appointed kitchen, and we loved watching the deer from our deck.

This was one of the nicest houses we’ve stayed in over the last 15 years! It is spacious and clean. We enjoyed the elevated deck to watch the wildlife… lots of deer and a few chipmunks. There was plenty of room for all the guest to spread out. We enjoyed peaceful early morning walks in this quiet community and the short walk to the lake. It was so nice not to have to pack sheets and towels, but we weren’t expecting such high quality linens. We hope to enjoy this incredible home again!

The house was great. It was enough room to accommodate 10 of us comfortably. The amenities like the game room was great. My family had a great time playing the video games and a few rounds of competitive ping pong. The kitchen had everything we need to prepare a Christmas dinner. The only thing we wish was better was the water pressure of the upstairs shower. The other couple who stayed in the 2nd bedroom ended up using the bathroom downstairs to shower. Other than that, our stay was great. The little snow storm we had also made the place extra magical.

The stairs in the house were broken when we got there. There was no indication from the owner about their broken stairs, we had to find it by accidentally stepping on them and falling a few times.Other than that it was a fine property

Weekend spring break getaway for the kiddos

Overall it was a wonderful stay. Although it had nothing to do with the house itself, I thought there would be some better mountain views. We are probably spoiled though, living where we live in the heart of the Blue ridge. The house was very nice and comfortable. Hot tub, was nice, but missing some features. Like some of the jets didn't work, and we couldn't get the speakers to work either. All in all it was a very nice stay. I would recommend for anyone that is in the area to come and stay here.

The house was everything thing it said it would be. If I owned a house in Pennsylvania, I would want a replica of the house itself. The layout was perfect. There were a few minor issues but Management responded quickly and kept me posted of the ETA of the maintenance person. The only thing my Grandsons were upset with was the fact that they could not go in the hot tub the night prior to leaving so we only got to go in one time but we kept them busy the rest of the time with daily adventures and playing in the front of the house. I’d like to mention that the Management Company did have the hot tub opened the day of our arrival and they DID have a maintenance person come to look at the hot tub the last night but he could not figure out the reason it wasn’t working. It did not ruin our time there. We had a wonderful time. I have been a property manager for 16 years and I must say, they were extremely curious, knowledgeable and very responsive.
