It is the perfect home for a large family or group. We loved the games and books that were stocked in the home. It even came with coffee, creamer, and sugar, so no runs to the store for early morning coffee! The manager was super quick to respond to all messages and a great help. We will be back in September and will be staying here again!
We enjoyed our stay in the house. It is a great location for a Lafayette visit. My grandchildren enjoyed the children's books on the bookcase in the living room. The kitchen/dining area was a perfect place to gather and visit. The driveway can fit up to 3 cars so there was no need to park on the street. Clean up was easy.
The house was very welcoming and clean. Close to Cajun Done and downtown. One of the best parts is the farmers market close by with an amazing playground.
The property was exactly as described. The bedrooms and baths were very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Great kitchen and dining areaâroomy enough for morning coffee chats with the whole family. Really a nice place and a great value.
We had a great time. The pictures of the interior of the house was spot on. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and spacious. The only thing that I would recommend is that you show pictures of the exterior of the home. We almost didnât book because there were no pictures
We were seeing Jelly Roll at the Cajun Dome, so the location was perfect.
The house is, and looks like it was described.
Very clean, and well appointed.
Iâd highly recommend it.
Vrbo needs to provide addresses to each place sooner and easy to find.Managers need to respond faster and the same way the customer ask the question, I.e. if the customer asks a question thru a text then respond needs to thru text as well.
Great location. Clean and good space for our group. Easy to get in touch with owner and she responded quickly. But needs a new can opener. LOL We had a great stay!!
The house was as described! It was great for my crew who was there to watch a softball tournament in Broussard, not bad traveling distance. The one hiccup we had was the stove, electric stove, went out while I was cookingâŠjust didnât get to have our garlic toast with our spaghetti. Tried contacting host by her phone number on Saturday evening, which is what she asked, but didnât get in contact until Monday. Other than that hiccup, everything was very good!!!
We actually ended up not sleeping there, the house is nice and kitchen and bathrooms very nicely remodeled. We didn't sleep there, we had checked in and returned to find a car in one of the driveways in front of house and did not know whose it was or where the person that drove it was. We had 3 women traveling together and were a bit nervous to stay. I found out later that the home is a duplex, and it was the owner's car and that they stay on property. I didn't ask until we were leaving town, but thought owner should notify renters they are on property and will have a car parked in front of house coming and going. Since we did not use it, I also thought they should offer a return of any cleaning/service fee.
I, Melissa, am born and raised in the Lafayette area (north Lafayette or Carencro) and LOVE our local culture and community. I am a residential architectural designer and I have enjoyed being a host and meeting guests from all over the world and the United States. Please don't hesitate to share your experience with me.
We are centrally located to everything, within minutes to anything! See laminated brochures in unit for details. I love riding my bike downtown and/or to the parks. This area is rich in history and culture with many unique restaurants, venues, parks, etc.
We have parking for and a short walk to parade route for Mardi Gras. We are located near the festival grounds at CajunField. Drive straight to our rental and never need to drive again! Walking distance to downtown, Girouard Park and for all Festivals (International, Acadian, etc)
