2 chambres, 2 salles de bain en bord de mer dans le calme condominium Kure Beach est une unité de coin situé à côté de la piscine et gazebo. Oceanfront chambre principale a un lit queen, salle de bain privée et l'accès au pont sur l'océan. chambre d'hôtes est équipée de 2 lits jumeaux tandis que le salon dispose d'un canapé-lit pour les visiteurs d'une nuit. Cuisine entièrement meublée.

Ocean Dunes est un lieu de vacances toute l'année idéale pour les familles. Les installations comprennent: piscines intérieure et extérieure, un bain à remous, un court de tennis, terrain de basket, club house, salle de remise en forme avec de nouveaux équipements, sauna, terrain de pique-nique et une aire de jeux. Great End Unit

Great views out to Ocean and towards pier (end unit window). We like to leave things as we found them. Only issue vacuum needed to be emptied. Broom worked just fine!!!

Great beach getaway!

Very nice condo that looked just like the pictures! Check in and out were pretty easy. The place was very clean and we didn't have any issues. The whole building could use a good pressure washing but that had no bearing on the unit itself. Would definitely stay here again!

A little beach paradise on the Atlantic.

Everything was as expected and wonderful. It was as if we had lived there forever. We did have to wash the patio doors for a better view, no big deal. Seeing sunrise over the ocean from my bed was particularly magical. The area was low key and nice and quiet.

Great little getaway

Other than a minor hiccup of not having linens and towels at the time we arrived (and this was addressed very quickly by the rental agency), the stay was great. The property was clean. The ocean-front view was phenomenal. Beach access was easy. Location was convenient (just a few short minutes to Fort Fisher and the Aquarium). I would definitely look at returning to this site inthe future.

Stay at condo

Condo was decorated nicely, and furniture was comfortable. TV worked well and so did the internet. This Condo is really nice, just a few simple things need fixed. The walk to the beach was a little longer than we prefer, but not horrible. The pool is a nice way to cool off.

Had a great stay! Just an old property that needs some attention.

Everything was just as stated. Only a few minor suggested improvements. The bed needs to be upgraded. Balcony door and windows need to be cleaned (I cleaned the patio door as best as I could). Some of the pots weren't very clean. The dish strainer was just plain gross. The kitchen waste basket needs to be replaced. Just little things.

Reviewer Comments: the Surf's up was not a disappointment it was so close to the water it was almost like you could reach out and touch it the condo was clean and comfortable really like the hand held shower head it was just an outstanding place will go again. My sister has never stayed on the oceanfront she fell in love did not want to leave..

Surf’s Up - Don’t Recommend

Good location, right on the beach. The condo is not in good shape. Walls need washed and painted, furniture was dirty, mold in the showers and on vanity in the master bathroom. Garbage can needs replaced and vent covers need cleaned/replaced. The property management company did send someone to clean after I called about the condition of the property. It is the end of season is not an excuse for a property not being clean. The rental rate is the same and I expect a clean place to stay with my family. I have rented several different units at Ocean Dunes and I would not rent this unit again.

Great location.

The mattress in the master bedroom is terrible and needs replaced and the sofa has no padding in the cushions. The sliding door either needs to be replaced or greased as it is very hard to open and close and the vents are rusted out and dangerous. The only way we would stay there again would be if all of the items were fixed.

Amazing views and perfect location!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is truly "Oceanfront". The beach is quiet and clean. The property was clean and well maintained. The fresh linens were really refreshing. The kitchen needs more utensils/serving spoons, wine glasses etc. though. Our overall stay was really good and relaxing. Only 1 disappointing thing was that when we asked for late check out, they were going to charge us some $30 for an hour. although the amount is not big, it didn't feel right as we had already paid so much.

Winter Getaway

My elderly parents, husband and I (all senior citizens) enjoyed 3 nights in this oceanfront unit with terrific views of the ocean. My dad enjoyed sitting in the recliner and watching the pelicans fly over. The home fit our needs with the well appointed kitchen, walk-in shower, fresh linens, only one flight of stairs to enter, and lots of peace and quiet. Check-in/Check-out procedures were a breeze. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest, but we made the best of it by exploring the nearby aquarium and taking the Fort Fisher Ferry to Southport and back. I would definitely recommend this place but have one suggestion: some sort of curtain over the blinds in the twin bedroom. The lights from the outside stairs are very bright.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great beach vacation and very much enjoyed our stay at Surf's up. I would certainly consider staying again. The location is perfect: oceanfront, close to beach access, and close to the pool. The property is updated and we were very comfortable there. My recommendations for the owners would be to replace the master bathroom mattress (it's horrible), and replace the vent covers on the floor which are super rusty (my kids fell on these a few times). I would also note the slider (to go on and off the deck) was extremely difficult to open/close and needs to be addressed. Overall, very happy with my stay!

Decent rental, needs better cleaning services

The location was great, nice ocean views, convenient to the pool area, and beach was not as crowded as when we stay in Carolina Beach. The condo was not cleaned well however. We have an 11 month old and within the first 10 minutes of being there her knees and tops of her feet were black from crawling on the floor. There was a load of laundry in the dryer. We had to push the twin beds together for our toddler to not roll out and when we moved the nightstand there were 15-20 wadded up tissues all behind it and the headboards. Other than the cleanliness it was a great size for our small family and you can’t beat the view!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Surf's Up. The apt was clean and tidy. We enjoyed being close to the pool and being oceanfront. Our only recommendations are to repaint the porch and change out the rusted registers inside the apt. The kitchen supplies were adequate and met our needs. We did not realize that we would have to walk down a few buildings to an access way to the beach. This is not a problem for adults however it is more of a challenge when you have children in tow.

Quiet Off Season Visit

This was a perfect spot to get away. Location close to Fort Fisher and undeveloped portion of beach...making for nice long walks. Not a lot of people this time of year. Imagine in the height of the season the narrow beach may get a bit cozy. This unit is right next to pool - so convenient. And beach access a very short walk to end of building. The unit was bright and clean...loved the side bay window where we could sit and have coffee but enjoy the view on a rainy day, (rain comes thru decking boards above). Previous review about utensils is spot on - definitely need to update....knives dull (sharpener didn’t help), cutting board wore out, and no rubber spatula. But these were minor inconveniences for us and we enjoyed the space.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is in a perfect location with amazing views of the sand and ocean. The living area is lovely and comfortably furnished. The kitchen has modern appliances and plenty of dishes and cookware. The bathrooms were very clean and updated. The only negative is that the master bedroom mattress is extremely uncomfortable. As other reviewers noted it somehow sloped to the middle on both sides. We both sunk into the middle and had to climb our way out. Not good for bad backs! Regardless we truly enjoyed the condo and the amazing view and location!

Great location, but the bed...

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is amazing, it was so nice to stay in right on the beach. The beach access is a very quick 2 minute walk from the condo, and the pool is right next to the condo. The aquarium and ferry are just down the road, and the beach was recently renourished. With two young children, you couldn't have picked a better spot! The condo was well stocked with basic kitchen needs, and the unit was overall pretty clean. The deck is a great size, with comfortable chairs to sit in and watch storms roll in off the ocean.But the bed in the primary bedroom needs to be replaced. The bed frame creaked loudly every single time you moved, and as others have stated, the mattress slopes to the middle. It was impossible for two people to sleep comfortably. My husband and I are not large people, but we ended up alternating who slept in the bed and who slept on the couch, which was less than ideal on vacation. I hate to take off stars just for one thing, but not being able to sleep well really did impact the overall quality of our stay. If the mattress was replaced I would have given it 5 stars.The folks at Bryant were friendly and very easy to work with. I'll rent properties from them again!
