The house offers excellent amenities like WiFi, an iron, a washing machine, hairdryer, fully stocked kitchen including Keirig, slowcooker, griddle, dinnerware, etc. You'll find 2 bathrooms, complete with a hair dryer for your convenience. We had plenty of comfortable rooms to stay in. The location to the beach and town were excellent. Elizabeth was great at communicating. We an incident our first day and she responded right away and was understanding. I do wish there was more pots and pans, it was difficult to cook for 8 people, but that would be the only downside on this property. Thank you for the excellent stay!

What a wonderful home in a great neighborhood. I loved the roomy family room, the fire pit and the fact that the yard was fenced, especially since I had my grandchildren with me. The home was clean and very inviting. It also had all the the necessities of home available to us.

Great Place!!

Elizabeth was very responsive and wonderful to communicate with. She was accommodating too. The house was well equipped, had two central areas to congregate, a wonderfully large and comfortable couch, a user-friendly fire pit, and a fenced yard. The house was a pleasure and in good condition. I highly recommend!

It was awesome

The property was very nice and clean. The house was perfect for our family. Everyone had their own room and bed. There was 11 of us and the house was a perfect fit. I would recommend this property if you have a large family or not .

Large house with plenty of space for a big family. Bedding was less than acceptable in 2 of the rooms with blood on one and stains of something else on the other.

It felt welcoming when you walked in the door. We enjoyed the layout of the house. We were able to have the younger adults on one side and the quieter adults on the other side. But we were still able to socialize during the day. It was nice to have a store in walking distance.

Home was great for our group of 9 people. Went to Long Beach to spread our Father's aahes. 6 adults, 3 teens. They liked the loft room. Only complaint was a huge workshop / garages attached to the house occupied by owners and having loud Axe Throwing and thudding noises. Only

We were so glad to have you stay with us! We apologize for the construction noise coming from the detached shop that neighbors the house (a 6' fence and walking path separates the house and the shop). They have completed the upgrades to the shop so the noise should not be a problem in the future. We hope we will see you again soon!

Spacious at the Beach

Our stay was over the Independence Day Holiday weekend with all our kids and friends. The house was very spacious for all of us to enjoy together but also breaks in groups from kids and separate activities. Definitely pet friendly, family friendly and updated/clean spaces. Perfect location as far as just far enough from the crowd but close enough to walk where we wanted. The neighborhood was quiet but could use some clean up but dont let that make your judgements as they were no bother. Owners/family Im guessing also there on property were friendly as well. I would only recommend maybe leaving some basic tools like a screw driver to tighten some door knobs or shower knobs that come lose with use and extra garbage bags. We didnt go searching for long so really not a bother.

Amazing vacation home!!!

This was an amazing place to stay for vacation!!! The location was perfect for getting into Long Beach, heading down to the beach to play, and going crabbing and fishing. You can walk to the grocery store and restaurants. The place is huge so there was plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was easy to cook in because it had everything you could possibly need. Beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. The back living room had an enormous reclining couch and a cozy electric fireplace...great for hanging out and watching movies. The front yard was fenced so I felt safe with the kids playing out there. The back had a wonderful fire pit for relaxing and making s'mores! We all had such a fantastic time! Thanks so much!!!

Great House

This was a great place to stay and it was comfortable for all of us. There is a lot of room and the layout is set up well. It is nicely decorated and well stocked. The location is also great and it’s very centrally located to the tip of the peninsula down to Astoria. The only negatives I have to say are that a hot tub is listed as an amenity, but we never saw one. There is also a binder with instructions that has further rules about their pet policy. This was stricter than I was expecting and wish it would have been included on the listing. It might have changed my mind about staying here. If we weren’t expecting to have a hot tub or didn’t have a dog traveling with us, I definitely would have given it 5 stars.

Thank you for staying with us! When you mentioned the hot tub we were surprised because there is no hot tub and we didn’t intentionally list it as having a hot tub. I dug deeper into my settings and discovered the error and have fixed it. I apologize for the mistakenly misleading information. We were also wondering what pet policy you are referring to that was too restrictive? We didn’t remember there being much other than the request for dog owners to pick up after their dogs in the yard? Please let us know so we can evaluate whether we need to change the additional pet rules. Thanks and we hope to see you again!

Family vacation

We had 3 generations of family stay and play. We shopped, hiked into beards hollow, visited Ft Canby and jumped in the ocean. Plus yummy seafood at Drop Anchor and pastries at the Cottage bakery.
