Perfect for large groups

Our group of 8 adults had a wonderful time. The weather was typical for fall and we spent a lot of time inside. The house is spacious and very well stocked. The living room is large and comfortable. There was seating for all of us. The kitchen was also fantastic. We spend a lot of time sitting around the table together. There of lots of silverware and dishes and plenty of pots, pans, baking dishes, mixing bowls, etc. Check in was easy and communication was great. We would all definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Lots of rooms for a large group. Lots to do with the game room and hot tub and large decks. Bit of a hike to the ocean but doable. Large kitchen for big meals.

Great place for a family vacation

Amazing place! From the hot tub to the game room, this place has it all covered. Great outdoor area for family fun with play set, volleyball court and area for soccer. Bbq out back and fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. I wanted to write a bad review just so I would be able to rent it whenever I wanted! This place will definitely be our family vacation rental anytime we go to the beach! We met the owner while we were there and he was extremely friendly and gave us some great tips on places to try in the area.

My husband and I missed having a master bedroom with bath, but this is one of very few properties that can accommodate us with our four adult children, spouses and grandkids all in one place. Surf View 3 has been nicely upgraded, very clean, comfortable and the staff is wonderful.

Great for Family Surprise Birthday Party

Nice hot tub, volleyball, horse shoes, big toy and fire pit. Entering through the laundry is a bit odd but works. Bedrooms good. Responsive staff when we had no hot water and it turned out to be pilot light had gone out. They fixed it right away. We had a blast.

For the price you would expect more

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house i stayed in was big like 7 bedrooms. But all of the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The water pressure was ****. The one bathtub in the house when the water was on hot there wasn’t even enough pressure to turn on the shower. The other showers were just a light rain feel to them. I swept the floor and I know we did. It track in that much sand. One the surface it looks nice and clean. But it’s not really. The kitchen was nice and clean and had all of the cookware and utensils we needed. Loved the 2 refrigerators. Couch was pretty comfortable. And the game room was a nice hang out spot.

We were disappointed

Our group was definitely disappointed in this property. Although the size and number of rooms was great for us (the reason we booked it), the house needed some work. There was black mold under the kitchen mat. The handle for one of the kitchen drawers was broken. There was no fireplace (as pictured). They haven't painted the ceiling where the fireplace used to be. The stairs going towards the game room looked like it's just plywood. Lots of little tiny steps up and down throughout the house. The windows in the kitchen were nice and big, but we couldn't really keep them open since there were no screens on them and the flies and wasps kept coming in. You do not want to be barefoot on this property. Lots of thorns or stickers getting stuck in people's feet. On the positive side, the kitchen was well stocked, the linens where nice, and the cleaning people seem to do a decent job. You can hear the ocean, and it's a little hike to the beach.

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house itself was okay. Musty smell but a nice layout.The management staff however... We had NO hot water, I mean we had frigid freezing cold water and no one was able to shower the entire weekend. We tried to call all the helpline numbers on multiple occasions both from our cell phones and the landline at the house. No one answered and half the time the calls were dropped. We finally reached a manager during the week after our stay and explained the situation. Her response was that it was a "simple fix" (this shows that there was a problem and that we were telling the truth) and we should have called. When we explained that we did call in multiple occasions she said "well you should have left a message". It's boggling to me how people like this get a title of "manager" and how lost the art of customer service issue.I would NOT recommend renting from this company!!!

Great House - Lots of sleeping space, lots of kids toys

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we had a really good experience. The house had plenty of space for everyone in our 9 person party to sleep, sit and relax, there were lots of toddler toys and other activities in the house and yard, both sets of neighbors renting out Surfview2 were super friendly even in the midst of COVID. There was a playroom with a basketball game, pool table, play kitchen, train table, doll house and toddler basketball hoop. The house had a pack n play and a high chair, which was nice and we didn't have to bring our own pack n play. There were plenty of sand toys for the kids on the property, and both the volleyball court in the yard as well as the playground had sand below them that the kids played in. The beach was about a 5 minute walk which doesn't sound far, but it does require planning ahead to bring toys, water bottles, snacks, etc. when you've got toddlers. We did run into a problem where we couldn't get the string lights on the front deck to work, but BloomerEstates was very responsive and sent someone out to handle it.The downsides of our stay were as follows:- The stairs in the hallways with the bedroom were VERY creaky. If people in your party get up to use the bathroom, they will creak. - The house description said there was free Hulu Live TV, but they didn't leave any login information at the house and it wasn't logged in already. We could have reached out via email (they were VERY responsive to email), but kind of felt that information should have been left at the house. It also said there was Netflix, but I'm pretty sure the previous renters had logged in using their own information and just not logged out since there were like 4 users.- The grass outside had prickers in it. Very painful on bare feet. Made us want to remove shoes in the mudroom to avoid getting them in the house.

Not as clean as one would expect, lint by bed side tables in back bedroom. Run out of garbage bags. Description didn't mention the different levels and the amount of steps. In one bathroom the water ran all the time because stopper wasn't working. The house served the purpose for the reunion so for that I'm happy. The fishing was great and everyone got their limit of salmon. We will come back to the area again.

Great place for our expanding family

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our three generation family has returned to Surf View 3 and Surf View 1 year after year. These next door properties can accommodate us well. We like the quiet location a few miles from town and a relatively short walk to the beautiful beach. The Bloomer Estates staff are always friendly, accessible and responsive to our needs, for example, our request for non-allergenic cleaning products prior to our stay. Every year we find new improvements and upgrades. We love the well stocked kitchen, a second refrigerator and having a hot tub available at Surf View 3. Our stay is always enjoyable.
