This remodeled cabin blends rustic charm with modern conveniences. Access the Adirondack Rail Trail across the street, where you can explore can explore miles of trails to hike, bike or nature watch.

Enjoy peaceful lake access where you can swim, paddle, listen to loons, and unwind on a secluded beach. Included with your stay are Bicycles to use on the Rail Trail, Kayaks to use on Lake Clear, and Kick Sleds for the Rail Trail in the Winter time!

This property did not disappoint. It was the perfect location, with access to the rail trail and lake as described. The cabin has been updated beautifully and was very comfortable. Will definitely book this listing again.

What a lovely cabin. Picture perfect!. The host are very friendly. Perfect location if you bring your bikes to ride the trails. I will stay again.

Very cute cabin. Loved the gas fireplace in the living room, made it cozy. The bed was comfortable, we enjoyed a good nights sleep. The cabin is small, but big enough for two people and it has what you need. The location is easy to find, owners are on the property with their chickens and a dog visiting us. We took advantage of being on the rail trail and went for a nice long bike ride. The lake access is a bit of a challenge, it requires a little hike across the street. Overall a good stay.

I had a great stay at the Snowshoe Cabin this summer on a stopover after a long paddling trip on the Saranac Lakes. The property is beautiful and the cabin is snug and very comfortable. I appreciated the two screened porches, particularly the back porch, which was an excellent place to do a couple days of remote work. Shawn was very responsive, super friendly, and generously accommodated me and my dirty camping equipment!I didn't get a chance to take advantage of the access to Lake Clear, so I look forward to staying here again sometime!

The cabin was very nice and clean. It was great to have two screened in porches, one in the front and one off the bedroom. We didn't spend any time in the living room but it looked very comfortable and seems to be a great cozy spot if you are enjoying the cabin in the fall/winter. The kitchen area was nice, clean and had utensils and dinnerware for cooking and dining. The bed was very comfortable, king size and the bedroom was spacious enough to move easily around. We had a small issue with the bedframe the host was very easy to contact, pleasant, and came over to fix it right away. We used the kayaks and the host assisted us with the life jackets and how to utilize the dollies to transport the kayaks. It is a very quite and peaceful area. Will definitely return here for a fall/winter get away trip.

Woodsy Cabin Vibe, With Home Comforts

Great location, being on the rail trail makes it easy to get a nice bike, kayak, run, or walk in. There are two porches with bug screens, so you can dine outside and relax outside comfortably.Also, keep in mind this cabin is not on the lake, it is a 5-10 minute walk to the lake depending on the beach.Cookware was higher quality than most rentals I've been at which I appreciated: it was brand new Ninja brand nonstick. It was nice to cook a couple meals each day instead of just eating out. Only thing would be that the frying pan could use a lid, that's helpful for a lot of cooking.Attentive host - We had an issue with an arm and fastener on our bed frame coming off, and the owner was at the door, ready to help within 2 minutes. And the bed was fully fixed within 20 minutes. If you happen encounter any issues with the rental, your issues will be addressed quickly.Host also made a nice personalized document that answered any questions a renter might have before the stay.Overall, it was a nice, classic woodsy vibe, but it had comforts you might not find inside a more camping-like cabin in a national or state park: AC, fridge, hot water, shower, wifi, plentiful outlets, etc. Its a nice place to get into nature, without any of the discomforts associated with camping or being in a "four walls and a roof" type of cabin.And If I'm being picky, curtains felt cheap and were clunky to use; they don't cover the whole window. Not a big deal though, the trees provide good shade.

We have a nature trail on site, as well as a labyrinth for guests to enjoy. We also have a friendly dog and chickens that wonder and like to say hello to our guests
