On the shore of Lake Flower, Marcy Cabin provides access to 24 miles of the lake chain. Updated and rustic - she is perfect for a romantic getaway or just time to refresh. Close to all High Peak/North Country activities, she is one mile to the town of Lake Saranac and a 10 minute drive to Lake Placid or Lake Colby. Or just stay at the lake and enjoy the porch and HOA community. Pet friendly. Marcy is a respite for all.
A adorable, cozy cottage perfect for a quiet get away. It takes about 10-15 minutes to walk into town with great views of the lake. Lots of hiking and outdoor activities within a short drive.
The place was amazing. So cute and peaceful right on the lake. We had a fire two nights of our stay. We were able to eat in and have slow mornings. Just what we wanted for a couples trip.
Was just as advertised. Very relaxing and beautiful spot. Would stay again for sure. Aileen very attentive and Rachel does great on cleaning of the place.
The property is better than the pictures! It is a great place away from home and the host is very attentive. My husband and I had a wonderful stay and it was easy to travel to our destinations.
Just wonderful, so quaint. A very well appointed and scenic cottage. Wintertime was perfect for us, but I can imagine it is pretty awesome stay in warmer months as well.
Great location for paddling, biking, and hiking. Downtown is quaint and has local art shops and eateries and walking paths. Not far from Lake Placid for additional shopping eateries, and Olympic history. Fantisic foliage destination.
Host was very responsive, friendly and and accommodating.
We loved Marcy cabin! I canât say enough good things about it. It was big enough for me and my adult son, but not to big. It had everything we needed. The outdoor fire pit was a big bonus! The surrounding area was very nice. We rented a bout at lower Saranac marina and caught a ton of fish. I will definitely stay there again!!!!!
The photos of the cabin is what got me. It looks so cute and the flagstone porch so inviting with a gorgeous view of the lake. However the view you really get is of a busy road just across the lake. It was quite load at times and could be heard inside the cabin on occasion. Not the relaxing experience I was anticipating. I couldnât find any mention of this in the description or previous reviews.
The bathroom and shower are really small. My husband could barely turn around in the shower, and heâs not a big guy.
It could have been cleaner. There was a lot of clutter in the cabinets, especially under the kitchen and bathroom sink.
There where opened half used condiments in the fridge, not my cup of tea.
The parking space is a bit tricky to get out of, with a second set of eyes outside the car you will be fine.
The area was nice and an easy drive to all we wanted to do and see. The bed was comfortable. If you are looking for a more city vibe than a quiet lake experience, than this place will be fine.
With a little TLC and attention to details, this could be a great little place.
Cozy, but in a very good way. Cabin has everything you could need inside (fully-stocked kitchen; comfy couch; coffee table; TV; separate bedroom space (sans door)), plus a terrific deck and grassy yard within a few feet from the beautiful lake. Just make sure you already love the one you're with, because there isn't too much privacy!
