What a great weekend we had at that lovely place. Stephanie and her parents made us feel welcomed and the cottage was ultra clean and functional.
We're hooked and we'll go back for sure.
This cozy cabin is just steps from the lake with Adirondack chairs and a fire pit. It was comfortable, and had just enough space for 2 or 3 people. The interior looks new with warm wood throughout. There are a few restaurants and shops on the island, and Burlington is about 30 minutes away. We enjoyed it and would love to come back someday.
Peaceful cabin on the lake- absolutely beautiful views and relaxing scenery. Sunrise over the lake was amazing. The house was adorable- the kids absolutely loved the spiral staircase! Communication with renters was easy and immediate.
You arenât really able to take long showers- but we were warned about that beforehand. I would absolutely Recommend this location to anyone!
Cabin is even nicer than it shows online. It's well provisioned and the owners are two doors down and very responsive. Stephanie and Peter patiently answered every question quickly and went above and beyond with our traffic-delayed late arrival.
The kitchen is stocked so you could easily stay awhile and the towels are plentiful.
The cabin was spotless and the grounds are well-maintained. The lake is literally steps from the front door so all you really want to do is hang out on the porch and feast your eyes on the water.
There are beautiful roads to walk just 1/2 mile from the cabin, if you want to see the lake from other views. The mix of residential and agriculture under a big, starry sky invite longer stays than we had.
This is a quiet find in an unbelievable setting and the hosts couldn't be nicer.
We went up to the island to get away from everything for a few days. Unfortunately, the first thing you see when you drive onto the property is a large "Let's Go Brandon" sign on the owner's garage. I'm sure many will feel this is ok, but we wanted to remove ourselves from divided politics for a couple of days. Having hosts that are telling the current president of the US to F off is not a great way to start a vacation to get away and relax.
The camp itself was fine. Just as pictured. The ceiling fans and grill needed to be cleaned though.
This was just as advertised. Incredibly peaceful right on Lake Champlain. Hosts had great advance communication so we knew where to get groceries, etc. and just hangout once there.
Loved the location, right on the water. Hosts were responsive and very helpful. Property lacked a few things you might expect in the house ie. toaster. Overall a really nice little house.
This property used to be a campground called Sandy Cove. I love the view, the many birds and the ability to jump in a kayak or boat and head over to Knights Point Beach for swimming.
The rustic indoor Cedar walls in the camp are charming and the camp itself is and nestled in Cedar trees. The lakefront is generous and faces west for spectacular sunsets in the evening.
