Situated on a private dead-end road, this one-bedroom home is exceptionally quiet. You'll find a public boat launch less than a quarter of a mile away and North Hero State Park is just down the road.

This apartment features brand new furnishings and a host of amenities. Head up the stairs and into a modern wonderland. The living room is replete with comfortable seating, a vaulted ceiling, and windows that let the light pour in on a sunny day. It's the perfect spot for a late-evening glass of wine.

The kitchen has all the amenities you need for mealtime including a four-burner gas stove and stainless steel appliances. After carefully crafting your meal, enjoy it on the four-seat dining table, which offers amazing lake and wood views. Enjoy a snack or a cup of joe on the rocking chair or head out to the charming deck with a powered awning for views of the wooded hills and lawn beyond.

Head outside to your own private beach, which is just 200 feet away, down a small private driveway. Here you'll find a firepit to roast marshmallows and beach chairs to lounge with your favorite book. Don't forget to bring your boat as a small dock and boat launch await nearby.

North Hero is a wonderland for nature lovers. Fishermen head here during the fishing derby to test their pole prowess. North Hero State Park is one of the most scenic and beautiful spots in the state, boasting acres of pristine wilderness. Knight Point State Park and Grand Isle State Park are popular spots for cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. And if you're up for some excitement across the border, bring your passport and head to Montreal just 100 miles north.

Owners very pleasant. Lovely apartment with all the amenities. The hidden key was VERY DIFFICULT TO GET TO! Had to try several times to open.

Very bad experience Strong o odor in the unit which was above a garage, which made me both nauseous and gave me a headacheThe odor persisted, even when we opened all the units on the unitI would have left immediately, but we were tired from being on the road and were obliged to stay for a nightWe vacated the property by 8:30 in the morning have communicated this issue in the evening then night beforeI do not believe I should’ve been charged anything but certainly should have received more than 165 compensationWe were not able to use any of the properties amenities given the fact that we had to check out so early in the morning no, we spend the second night and in fact, I felt ill the next day as well

That is the best discription for this vacation spot. It was everything we were hoping for and more. My husband was in a Bass tournament for the weekend and I decided I would join him this time. I found this lovely place that was a short distance from the ramp he would use to launch and I could just enjoy the lake. I wanted to be able to get right on the lake and feel safe if I was swimming or kayaking alone. It was perfect, we had our own private spot and I relaxed the minute we got there. There is a public boat launch right down the road as well. The apartment above the garage is so homey and clean. The views are spectacular from all the windows. Sunrise over the lake view and sunset view from the back porch overlooking a private field. Mike and Liane are superb hosts who were so helpful if we had any questions and I could tell enjoyed the fact that we loved their place so much. Truly good people that I hope to keep in touch with. I could see myself retiring to a spot just like this. So bring your best floatie and your best mate and be ready to let your cares just drift away.

Quiet and accommodating

We rented this place sort of last minute for our 30th anniversary to spend some time on the lake. We were very cozy here, the cabin was very clean and the kitchen is updated while the amenities were suitable to our needs. The split unit kept the cabin very cool during the day. We really enjoyed being on the end of a private road with no traffic. It was a pleasant stay. Thank you Mike and Liane for taking care of us.

We have been coming for 5 years!

We love the North End Nook and have been coming back for 5 years now! We love how close it is to a very easy boat launch and great fishing! The apartment is the perfect size for the two of us and equiped with everything we need. Mike and Lianne are very sweet people. We will absolutely be back in June of 2023!

It’s a good roomy apartment

Very clean and comfortable. We used it as a base for traveling around the lake area and it’s a bit more remote than we expected. The host/owner is a very cordial person and made us feel at home. It has a fully equipped kitchen allowing guests to prepare their own meals.

Beautiful spot on Lake Champlain. The house is new and clean. Having Mike across the street is a big plus . We brought our own beds because we’re very picky about our beds. Mike didn’t seem to mind.

Perfectly Peaceful

The North End Nook is a perfect getaway for a quiet and peaceful stay. The private beach and secluded location made for a restful vacation for my husband and I. We were able to explore North Hero State Park and Pelots Natural Area and enjoy the local establishments on the island, all within a 15 minute drive. The loft was clean and well appointed and exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Utter contentment

This is an apartment I could come back to again and again whenever I need a respite from the world. Our own little beach and an apartment that Liane and Mike have thoughtfully furnished with everything you could need. There is also a great deck with an awning for outdoor dining. Super pleasant! This property is in a very peaceful spot which is perfect for us. And Liane and Mike are responsive hosts. When I asked if they could turn off the security light by our bedroom window, Mike installed a new electric switch to make us happy. Five stars!
