This beautiful waterfront property on serene Thompson Lake offers a peaceful and private experience. Step into the spacious open-concept log home, exuding a warm and cozy atmosphere perfect for your retreat. The separate bunkhouse is a fantastic option for those in search of a private sleeping area, now boasting a new queen bed on the main floor, two comfy twin beds in the loft, and the luxury of an attached outdoor bathtub. Take in the breathtaking views of the lake from the recently expanded dock, complete with benches for relaxation. The gentle slope to the water leads to a 2-foot entry that features a sandy bottom mixed with large rocks. For water enthusiasts, there are 2 kayaks, a 16' square stern canoe, and a paddleboat provided for your enjoyment. The dock can accommodate up to a 25' boat, giving you the opportunity to explore the 12 miles of boatable waterway. Thompson Lake is known for its excellent water quality and fishing, with plenty of opportunities for wildlife sightings, including bald eagles and loons. Enjoy being secluded in the woods, with the Lewiston/Auburn area just a short drive away. Come experience the ultimate Maine vacation!

This is very much a cabin in the woods. Its very rustic and secluded, which is exactly what we wanted. The house looks small from the outside, but inside was more than we could have needed. It was cooler in May when we visited, and we made use of the beautiful indoor fireplace. The tub on the bunkhouse desk was a delight, and we spent many hours out in the dock just enjoying the quiet lake.
