A little piece of Maine magic! We spent a wonderful week here and fell in love with the peaceful lake setting. Hearing the loons and taking in the beautiful surroundings made it so easy to slow down and unwind.The house has so much character and charm, and the property feels like somewhere fairies and gnomes might call home. Even the guest book was a treat—reading the stories left by previous visitors made us feel part of something special.We left with lovely memories and a serious reluctance to return to real life. A wonderful place for anyone looking for a quiet, memorable escape!

An incredible place for a weekend getaway! The lake was so quiet and beautiful. The house was stunning with great views from the jacuzzi and deck. The bed was very comfortable. Already looking forward to our next stay!

Definitely watch the video receive about how to get to the property. We had no issues because we watched before we got into the area. The property has little to no cell coverage with Verizon and the road in has lots of little ways to go that could lead you in the wrong direction. We had no problems. Great area. We were in the area for a wedding so didn't have time to enjoy the hot tub or pond but a stay with other purpose but to relax with free time woube great. lVery cozy and my sons enjoyed playing pool.

We stayed here for 5 nights at the end of July! What a beautiful, peaceful property….the house was pretty fabulous, super clean and organized. We loved using the paddle boards, kayaking and just chilling in lovely sand pond. We loved making s’mores and spending time outside at night in the hot-tub or around the fire-pit. The host was very reachable…we had one question and one minor problem and he got back to me, very quickly and helped fix it! Overall we throughly enjoyed our getaway to the chalet in Norway!

Prices dictated by how many people rent the house. It's shown to you before you do the booking. Not sure how that's deceptive. But there's no surprise charges. You paid for the amount of guest that you had when you booked the house.

Great stay on Sand Pond

Jonathan's property on Sand Pond is well equipped, clean, and comfortable. The location had a wonderful remote feel to it, although it was only a short drive to the adorable town of Norway. We highly recommend a stay at this property

Beautiful location right on Sand Pond! Plenty of room for two couples. The gas fire pit on the large deck overlooking the lake was a wonderful way to end each night. Great views of the pond from the large dock area. We kayaked around the entire pond and loved seeing and listening to the loons. A cute gem!

Beautiful place in the woods

We had a phenomenal time in this very well equipped chalet in the woods. While it was snowing outside we enjoyed the cozy cabin and the hot tub. The kids did sledding and snow shoe walking. Our dog loved the place and the woods around it as well!

Nice property in Maine, we had a great time enjoying the lake and hanging at the cabin. Things we loved- the beautiful windows, paddle boarding and enjoying the lake, the views from the cabin. The outdoor shower is nice and has hot water. Items to be aware of when booking- while in the woods, not as private as one would think. Other cabins surround the house. The hot tub was foamy/foggy. No outdoor fires. Lastly, price of the home changes per number of guests, which was an annoying inconvenience when I invited some our friends to join us. We booked the house and rented the house no matter if there were 2, 4 or 5 people joining. This was a frustrating element that significantly changed the price of the overall booking.

Poor Management

Didn’t get to stay here because the owner neglects this account. I wasn’t notified until the day of check-in; which was for a couple days to celebrate New Year’s. I did get a full refund but no additional incurred costs for this negligence provided. Hope other potential renters aren’t treated this way.

Great, Quiet Getaway

We really enjoyed our long weekend at this home. It had everything we needed (soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent, garbage bags, spices, condiments etc) and we really didn’t need to bring anything besides food (which the local Hannafords was perfect). The property was clean and updated.

Relaxing secluded getaway

We really enjoyed our stay. It was just my dad, my brother and I. It was the perfect quiet getaway we were looking for. The property is clean and inviting and offers more amenities than we were able to take advantage of in our short stay. We would definitely rent again and try to stay longer!
