The property was exceptionally cared for, clean and inviting. Lush landscaping and koi ponds were expertly maintained. 2 elevators meant we didn’t wait long to get to the 6th floor that boasted breathtaking views of the hillside, beach and ocean. Room was spotless upon check in and Gary our concierge was helpful and friendly! In spite of an a/c hose leak our room stayed comfortably cool and the issue was handled promptly. Rooftop grilling was a wonderful addition and dining together while watching the sunset up high was a serious highlight to our stay. Nestled between two amazing beaches the whole family had the opportunity snorkel and see plenty of fish and turtles. Everything you need from renting snorkel gear or kayaks to morning coffee and cinnamon rolls, snacks and great lunch options to a dinner out in close walking distance. We are already planning our next trip and we’ll be staying at the Royal Mauian!!!

We love this location in Kihei. 1st time in this unit…3rd at the royal mauian. Great views. Fabulous sunsets. Nice folks to deal with. A couple of small things…Would be helpful to have an umbrella. Without it our use of the beach was curtailed and it’s an easy fix! Also there was nothing stocked beyond the requisite kitchenware…not even leftover condiments or even salt and pepper or starter water. First time I’ve encountered this in an vrbo and just a little detail that I noticed. Also please provide hair conditioner. Again a little thing that would be much appreciated in a beach environment!Last while the second bedroom had a Murphy bed we found this space pretty worthless. Maybe luggage racks would improve functionality of this room.All this said we would return here in a heartbeat! Just wanted to share some small improvements for management consideration :) we had a great stay and highly recommend!Mahalo!

Great location , pretty sunsets

We stayed here for 2 weeks. Although the sunsets were stunning and fantastic location , the unit needs updating . You can tell it’s mainly a rental . ( kitchen needs new pans not 2 broken ones ) Our kids slept on the pull down Murphy bed but it’s very uncomfortable. ( would not suggest adults sleeping on it ) there is no air conditioning and many fans were provided however 6 out of the 9 didn’t work so the unit was quit humid even though we kept the patio doors open the whole time for air flow . The pillows need to be thrown out and replaced ( very old and stained , we ended up going to target and get new ones ) . I would suggest this unit for one older couple . There is a lot of rules with kids at this complex which is understandable but my kids 5 and 8 were questioned multiple times by the caretaker ( you can tell immediately the owners of the building can’t stand rentals and kids at this place ) wondering where there parents where when I was 50 feet behind them carrying the load of beach stuff down. The couch needs to be thrown out it’s very dirty and used ( it had the mouldy smell which they must know as there is many bottle of frebreze stored everywhere ) which I bet it so dirty as there is no table to eat inside only 3 bar stools ( patio has a nice table to eat at though ) . It still was a beautiful vacation my kids loved but I feel we will go back to the nalu which had a friendly vibe and a younger child friendly generation.

Great view in Kihei

This condo is clean, comfortable and nicely furnished. The view is outstanding. It is a little on the small side for 2 couples, mostly because the kitchen is tiny. Two people in the kitchen at the same time is awkward, and forget about a group dinner effort. The location is nice if you want to walk to dinner and the natural grocery store across the street has lots of vegan, gluten free and organic options. I gave communication 3 stars because when I called to ask if there was storage for the paddleboards on the property, they said yes. When I arrived, however, it was the weekend and the on property office was closed, so I phoned Alii resorts to find out storage details. They informed me that the board storage was only for owners and asked me if I had called them or Royal Mauiian, the building office. I didn't know, but was peeved because I had already rented 2 boards for the week, and all check in literature stated that no boards were allowed on lanais or in units. I ended up having to store boards on top of the rental car, which was a bit of a hassle.

Best Condo Ever

This condo has an amazing view of the water, the waves are crashing right in front of you. The beach is steps away and swimming is great. Trades and surf comes up in the afternoon. The condo has all the kitchen gadgets, dishes, glasses, and cookware you need, fridge is nice sized and rooftop deck has 4 BBQs for use. Pool is very great and adequate seating on the lawn. Both bathrooms are updated and bedrooms well furnished. Comfy couch and big TV (but we didn't really watch much), there is also some beach chairs and towels for you to use. Watch for a trio of turtles swimming out front, nice place to snorkel in the morning.

Great Stay Despite no A/C

We really liked the property, but man it was HOT. The afternoon breezes help but they calm at night and it’s still so hot! The size was perfect for my 3 daughters and I (especially two bathrooms with showers) ;) !

Best location

The Royal Mauian is situated between Kamaole Beaches that are wonderful swimming and SUP beaches and right n the heart of Kihei. You can walk or Uber to great restaurants. The unit is configured with an extended kitchen and seating is at the counter and on the lanai with extra room and a sectional in the main living area. The configuration is extra comfortable. Property manager was very helpful, too.

Keihei Rental

This was a nice two bedroom rental. It didn't have a bunch of bells and whistles but the beach was nice and we saw a variety of fish and a couple of turtles. The pool was small but that was all we needed. We didn't need a car betwee the inexpesive Turtle Tracks Shuttle and uber. It came out to a lot less than a rent a car. We would stay here again.

Couldn't be happier with our stay here. This was for our honeymoon and our original condo was flooded the night before our flight to Maui. We found this one and they booked us on the spot for the next day arrival. Scottie, who helped us check-in was wonderful and brought us boogie boards, snorkel gear and an umbrella for our stay. They were so communicative from the moment we booked. We will absolutely be back at this exact condo the next time we're in Maui!

Property was well kept, management was nice and easy to work with. Views were amazing!

The condo was clean and had everything we needed. It was close to stores and retutants. They had a pool however beach was just steps away. The views were amazing! We really enjoyed our time here.

Great view!

My husband and I spent a week here and absolutely loved this condo! It was quiet, comfy, and incredible views. There is a family of Sea Turtles right out front that people flock to watch and a great place for snorkeling. We will definitely be returning.

Maui family fun

Our Maui vacation was great basing out of the Royal Mauian. Ali'i Resorts Staff welcomed us at the room and reviewed everything. They followed up the next day asking if we needed anything or had any questions. Furiture was very cofortable, kitchen was complete with pots, pans, dishes, silverware, and small appliances. Beds were firm and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. There was one blow dryer only and it needed replacing. Eating breakfast or lunch on the lanai was relaxing. Ate dinners out. The pool was small but refreshing, lounging at the ocean on a well kept grassy area was nice. Watching sea turtles playing in the rocky waters edge from your lounge chair was outstanding. Snorkeling in front of the Royal Mauian was perfect with the area being a favorite area for the fish and turtles. Even saw a stingray. Entry into the unit was by key pad code. Very convenient, but take care to have one person in the room during pack up, as the code gets cut off. We were locked out before checkout time, and had to call Ali'i to get it. Minor issue but annoying at the end of a great trip. I recommend this resort to anyone, and working with Ali'i was great.

We found our stay at the Royal Mauian #303505 to be very comfortable and enjoyable for the 2 weeks we were in Maui. We have stayed in several places in this area and this is the best location! The condo was clean with nice updated furnishings and our needs during our stay were taken care of by Ali'i resorts . It is really nice to sit on the lanai, use the roof top barbecue, or lounge chairs to see the wonderful view!
