We loved our stay at this Melrose artsy home with a private pool. The place has such a creative, musical vibe — instruments, art, and a trendy feel that makes it more than just another rental. The yard is huge and well kept, and our dog had a blast. The pool stayed clean and we swam every day.Location was a big plus: very central, with lots of great restaurants nearby and an amazing bookstore/coffee shop right around the corner. Easy to find and check in, and the neighborhood felt nice and comfortable.The host was easily the most responsive of any place we’ve stayed — never waited more than two or three minutes any time of day with any question. Super accommodating, and checkout was extremely easy, honestly the easiest ever. Would happily stay again.

This is a cute home on a quiet street. Loved the private backyard and the pool was fabulous. Added bonus being able to walk to various restaurants and diners! Great communication with the hosts throughout the stay. This property was exactly what we were wanting for some R&R and Phoenix sunshine! Will absolutely book again if we come back to Phoenix! We appreciate you bringing these minor maintenance items to our attention and we would've been happy to address anything during your stay if anything was affecting your experience. The property experiences wear from guests and outdoor elements, and while we work hard to keep everything well maintained, occasional paint touch-ups and repairs can arise between inspections. We have shared your comments with our maintenance team so they can address the stepping stones along the pool pathway and the area of chipped paint on a doorway from suitcases--that's all the paint chipping we were able to find as we recently painted and wallpapered the entire house. I would suggest more organized bedding situation, sheets and blankets for couch sleeping, pillow cases for extra pillows that are there.BUT The big one was no one told us we would be woke by a 8;30 am Saturday lawn crew, I am glad no one got bit by my 2 dogs.

We’ve used the same landscaper for many years and they do not arrive too early – – we make certain of that, but we’re sorry that it surprised you, we do mention it in our welcome book that we have our service crew for the landscaping and the trash so that you are not startled but maybe you missed that in our detailed welcome book too. We do all this so that we can keep our property in tiptop shape. Thanks, again!

Can’t wait to come back

My daughter and I sought some sun and R&R during her winter break from college. This cute bungalow really met all our needs. Short jaunt from the airport with a rental car. Cozy, comfortable and spacious. You should consider staying here for the decor alone - eclectic, bauhaus chic. Loved the location; my daughter went running daily and we felt the location was quiet and safe. Lots of cool places to see and dine within half a mile. Would love to come back again sometime when it’s warmer and we can use the beautiful pool! Hosts made sure we had everything we needed and had lovely fresh flowers as a special touch.

Perfect backyard, amazing location and ver responsive hosts!

Loved it! I’m local to Phoenix and was going through a renovation. I stayed for 2.5 weeks and was able to work from the kitchen with the help of reliable and fast internet and could keep up with laundry with a machine on the property. I really enjoyed the Arizona room looking out to the partially shaded and pretty backyard. The pool was great for a morning swim with an iced coffee during the hot AZ summer. My 2 small dogs also loved running around the yard chasing birds. Really enjoyed how close I was to restaurants like The Fry Bread House and Kid Sister. The grocery store was also only a couple of minutes away. The hosts were so kind and very responsive to any requests I had. Would absolutely rent from Brooke’s rental again!!
