Great experience

We had a wonderful time staying here. The location is perfect being just steps from the beach in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The house is beautiful and clean with everything we need for our stay. I would definitely come back again

Very Nice House

We booked for a quick family getaway. The house was clean and well furnished. The bedrooms each had its own private balcony offering great views of the ocean. The house is steps away from the beach making it an ideal beach getaway.

Great Location

We enjoyed our stay. Every deck had a view of the ocean. We loved the neighborhood, the breezeway at the bottom of the deck felt great all day with a great view of the sunrise and it was easy access to the beach.

Explains the price

The best thing about this property is the photographer’s photos on web site. It’s pretty much in poor shape. Great views! Quiet. But house in need of many repairs inside & out. We will xo to to use VRBO but won’t rent this house again.

Love this place!!!!

We took a risk and booked during December knowing well that we would not be able to get in the water due to cooler temps. Despite this, we had a great time! The view was beautiful. The house was beautiful! The location was private. We were the only ones at the beach during or stay. Fast and responsive host. I would love to come back during the summer.

Perfect Vacation Getaway!

This property exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking views and immaculate condition of the home. The house is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need, from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and cozy living spaces. The location is unbeatable—very close to the beach, close to attractions, dining, yet peaceful and private. We especially loved spending mornings on the deck, sipping coffee while soaking in the scenery. The host was incredibly responsive and made sure our stay was seamless. If you’re looking for a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and luxury, this is the place. We can’t wait to come back!

Nice house

The house was in an excellent location and you could see the beach. It was very clean and supplied many blankets. It did not have enough bath towels, and some of the bathrooms had no soap or toilet paper. We were also disappointed only having 4 pods of coffee. We always travel with our own supplies just in case. I still think it’s a lovely house.

Great Stay & Beautiful Beach

The house is beautiful and clean. It is so close to the beach, we could see the beach out our bedroom window and hear the waves on the balcony. The beach itself was so peaceful and the residents in the neighborhood were very friendly. I liked the enclosed staircase and space where we could store our “beach wagon”. The kitchen was nicely stocked with pans, dishes and utensils. We gad plenty of paper towels and toilet paper and bath towels. The beds were so comfortable and the couches were great. I hope we can come back again soon!!!

Found our Galveston Getaway!!!

We stayed at several beachside locations in the past and none compared to this house. Each room has a private balcony to take in the breathtaking view. The house was very clean and exactly as pictured. Beach access was less than a football field away and we would take long walks along the beach in the morning and at night. Spectacular. There was a cold front when we went so the hot tub was a nice added bonus. The hostess was very sweet and was prompt when we reached out with questions. This house is a gem on the west side of the island.

Wasn’t pleased

We arrived to the location it was a very nice neighborhood as well as beautiful views of the beach from every room in the home. This was my honeymoon stay and we got married in Galveston as well. The home was very beautiful and appeared to be clean and tidy when entering the home you could smell dogs pretty strong so we went to buy candles and that worked out. The floors were absolutely disgusting took my socks off at the bed walked to restroom and my feet were black on the bottom. The half bathroom Reeked of urine as well as you could see the dried up spots on the floor. The couches and pillows smelled so horrible I had to lay a sheet over the couch to even sit on it. Wanted to wash the sheets before I slept in the bed since the home was clearly dirty and it took 3 hours to dry a load. So that wasn’t fun. As for the home it was beautiful and could have been an amazing stay I definitely recommend a deep clean on the property as well as have a professional steam cleaning company come clean the couches. I feel like the owners have a contractor that comes and cleans I truly feel no one would allow their property to be this dirty and have the knowledge. We were also under the impression there was a hot tub and we were excited it was pretty cold out. After booking we were made aware the hot tub was not working. All in all I definitely recommend this property and would go back as long as the home had been cleaned and couches were cleaned !

Not as advertised

Unfortunately, there were issues from start to finish. The location was fabulous, so that’s the upside. The downsides were: when I arrived and open the front door, I was overwhelmed by the smell of curry. I immediately had to open all of the windows and left to go buy a candle and pine sol . While I was cleaning, I noticed a constant buzzing sound. The oven fan was broken and would not stop running. Later, I went to grab a blanket to sit outside and the blanket was dirty so I ended up doing A few laundry loads of sheets and blankets. I went to pour a glass of wine, and there was no corkscrew and no wine glasses… And the coffee machine was broken. I don’t know about you, but there are two things I need when I’m on vacation and that is a good cup of coffee and a great glass of wine. Since I was going to be there for the week, I went and bought both. Lastly, we were getting ready to leave and heard a gigantic crash… A huge mirror that was hanging in the kitchen, fell off the wall and shattered everywhere. There was no broom and no vacuum, so I had to clean up shards of glass by hand and with wet paper towel. I did notify the landlord and was met with the response of they had never had problems at this house before… But I do find that hard to believe. The previous hurricane had done extensive damage to the outdoors as well. The barbecue grill was a pile of rust and not usable. Having said all of that,we made the best of it and enjoyed the ocean.
