Host was easy to reach, house was clean and very roomy , pool right in front was nice too, and 2 minutes to beach…Will definitely be coming back

I got a message from the host prior to arrival with notes on how to enter the property. The home was very nice. We stayed 4 nights and cooked most meals there. We also did laundry after the beach and swimming in the heated pool. We took 3 adults one child age 11 and a 1 month old. We had plenty of space for everyone to sleep and relax. We plan on renting this place again next year when we return to padre island

More than enough room for our party of five. Washer and dryer worked great. Kitchen was well stocked. Condo had a broom and mini vacuum which made easy work of cleaning up the sand the kids tracked in. Pool was better than most other condo complexes I've stayed at over the years. However there was no air hose for filling up pool floats. Our portable mini air compressor came to the rescue. Pool and pool deck area was large enough for multiple families to be out at the same time and not be on top of each other.

Great and Convenient Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The weather was a little chilly but the way the pool is situated made it to where we could enjoy the pool even when the beach was too cold. Apartment was clean and it was plenty of space.

The unit is very pretty and the pictures are very accurate. My ONLY complaint about our stay was that the kitchen and provided amenities were sparse. Most of the units we've stayed at in this area have beach toys in a closet, extra towels, cooking spray, or other things that have been either provided by the owner or left behind by previous guests. To be completely fair though, they did send us emails before our stay with a list of recommended items to bring and what is included in the unit. Just take that list seriously and bring anything extra that you want to have! Other than that, it's a great unit in a great location. We really enjoyed it.

Spring Break Family Trip

Been staying at Village by the Beach for the last 7 years. First time in this unit and we loved it. Clean and comfortable for our family of 4. Perfect location within the complex. Front porch is 6 feet from one of the pool entrance gates. We will definitely book this unit in the future if available.

Family Time

Great location close to the ocean.Cleaning crew has hands full keeping sand out of everything so well.Bunkbeds could use a topper, but king was awesome. Tv in main bedroom did not work. Not all remotes had batteries. I bought some.

The location and pool were perfect for our visit, but that’s about it. The host was awful with communication. Shortly after booking I was notified that I’d have to sign a contract and send a selfie of me holding my id. Not a huge fan that that wasn’t addressed in the listing. Also, the contract and listing have contradicting checkout times as well as extra rules, expectations, and possible fees not mentioned in the listing. Our earliest conversations stated I would be notified if early check in was available. I reached out twice the day of check in for any updates on availability. The second time I was told it requires 24 hour notice and a 100 fee- not mentioned in the listing or the contract but they claimed it’s their policy. In the condo, the beds and pillows were terribly uncomfortable. The hottest water was barely warm enough for my shower. The washer in the unit stank of mold and was visibly dirty and grimy. The pullout beds in the bunk rooms were dirty and on the verge of falling apart. Overall, this condo is one we don’t plan on returning to.
