Yosemite Visit
As a large cabin in the woods, it comes with some of the challenges; evidence of mice on both levels of the home. The original stove top needs to be replaced; difficult to operate requiring the use of a hand lighter on a couple of the gas burners. Hot water was inconsistent in bathroom showers. Visitors need to bring their own speaker/s for music. Parents need to be careful with small children around the stairs. The dumbwaiter doors need to have locking mechanisms because it is much too easy for small children to open the doors. The Kitchen is well stocked with plenty of kitchenware and dry goods. Plenty of sheets and towels. Great outdoor cooking options with charcoal grills; visitors will need to bring a bag of charcoal. The wraparound deck with plenty of tables/chairs is a nice feature, allowing visitors to eat outside and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The Pine Mountain train station with its museum and other amenities within walking distance is great for the kids and adults.
