Guest Access:

Guests will enjoy complete access to all amenities on the property as the sole guests, excluding one locked closet in the back of the lower level bedroom walk-in closet. We do not offer cable TV or a phone landline. Cell phone coverage is good and enhanced by being connected to our free WiFi.

You have access to a protected Corner Park directly through the backyard gate.

The Hearth & Home

While our wood-burning fireplace has been a centerpiece of the cabin since 1940, it is currently taking a well-deserved retirement! Following a recent safety inspection, we’ve been advised that it is no longer safe for active fires. To protect both your group and this historic building, the fireplace is strictly decorative. We ask that you please do not attempt to start a fire. It still adds a wonderful historic "soul" to the room, and we appreciate your help in preserving it!



Vintage Charm (Mind Your Head!)

Part of the magic of an older, quirky cabin is its unique layout. Please note that the upper-level bedroom and a few pass-throughs have lower ceiling heights typical of the era. If you are on the taller side, just a friendly reminder to "watch your head" as you move through those cozy spaces!



Respecting the Transition

To ensure every guest enters a perfectly sanitized and "Modern Zen" environment, our cleaning team requires every minute of their window.

• Checkout: We are unable to accommodate late checkouts due to our high demand and same-day arrivals. We appreciate your prompt 11:00 AM checkout to avoid the $150 late fee (applied after 11:30 AM) and to keep the sanctuary ready for the next traveler.

• Extended Stays: For retreats of 10 days or longer, an additional deep-cleaning fee applies to maintain the home’s high standards. Please reach out for details prior to booking.



Cancellation Procedures

While we adhere to the cancellation window selected at the time of booking, please be advised that all refunds are subject to a 3.2% non-refundable processing fee. This amount covers the costs charged by our payment processor and is withheld from the total refund amount should you choose to cancel within the allowed timeframe.
